Wayne was very helpful and explained everything to us.Plenty of choice of colour's to choose from.I would highly recommend SCS and Wayne 😀

All went ok with ordering and delivery until I noticed straight after delivery and installing of 2 sofas that the Glides were missing from all the feet. 16 in total that were ordered and paid for at a cost of £120.

I contacted the fitters within 10 minutes and they told me they would put it on their report but it was best to contact my local store which I did straightaway and spoke to George at York store and told him what had happened and as they hadn't been sent out yet not to bother sending them as we do not require them any more as they do not affect the functionality of our sofas and would appreciate our money back please , he said that wasnt possible and I asked to speak to the manager but believe it or not it was their day off. George then spoke to another "manager" but came back with the same answer, " No refund , unable to cancel item "
I find this policy to be unreasonable as I have paid for a complete product, but I have not received all the items and don't actually need them.
Due to the fact that they werent fitted on the day and havent actually been sent out from the warehouse I cant see why they cant be cancelled if I dont need them.
Also why should I have to waste another day waiting in for them to be fitted ?

We have spent over £2700 and would like to think this matter can be sorted amicably without the need to take it further,
I have emailed customer complaints department and hopefully they will sort this out in which case I will re-evaluate my review . Come on ScS , do the decent thing

Went into York store today, found a sofa we like and after some help from Wayne on colours and configuration we ordered on the day. Great service, very informative, and helpful advice. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Wayne in the Clifton moor branch in York was super easy to talk, knew every answer to our questions without hesitation! Super helpful and helped us find our new sofa!

An amazing buying experience from start to finish.
We were royally looked after by Andrea, very friendly and not pushy in the slightest. We needed a new sofa as our five year old DFS sofa was really looking it's age, sagging in place it shouldn't and looking like it was 50 years old.

From the start Andrea listened to us and ensured she found us the best deal.

The delivery guys were brilliant. They gave me plenty of notice, were on time and really friendly despite the challenges with the delivery.

I would say, the SCS sales person did say our sofa came in more parts and would fit any room to make delivery easy, this was the main reason we purchased it. Our sofa only came in two parts and they only just got it through the doors. With the weight of this sofa, how far they had to carry it due to access, I applaud the delivery guys efforts and I how friendly they are. I wouldn't have been!

Very good experience in the shop and with delivery, all the staff were lovely and helpful. I recommend scs and will be shopping with them again in the future

Wayne at the York store has been so helpful with us buying sofas for our first house. We have come into scs twice and bought our sofa because Wayne came straight over to us. He has helped us with everything from the colour to the fabric. You would never believe he has only worked with you for one year! Can’t thank him enough!

Visited SCS in York ,Clifton Moor today. Greeted by Rob , very polite and courteous and left us alone to browse until we were ready to ask .
He advised us on great options re fabric or leather once we settled on the sofa we required .
Real friendly ,knowledgeable and informative.
Gorgeous leather sofa ordered for a date convenient for us as away for recommended date.

Wayne was very warm and welcoming, very patient with us. We knew we needed a sofa and what size we would like but no idea what we wanted. His patience was impressive and appreciated; offering us options in styles, colours and configurations. A breath of fresh air to have a salesperson who offered us time and space and wasn’t pushy. We ended up with a lovely sofa recommended by Wayne and look forward to having it at home soon.

Very professional and moved everything I couldn't and pit back. No complaints at all.

A beautifully layed out show room, nice and cool on a hot day.
The manageress who dealt with us was extremely helpful and patient as it took us quite a long time to make a final choice. Nothing was too much trouble and we were even given a nice coffee and a can of water.

Upon entering the store we where welcomed and explained how it all worked with sofa styles & fabrics. We where left to look round ar our own pace, upon finding some we liked Andrea approached us to help with excellent advice and we then chose our favourite and made a purchase. She explained all about the after service & delivery which we now await and hope the aftersales & delivery follow in the excellent service..
