Informed store colleague what we wanted and was advised and shown models of fur ture that were suitable in store. Got a decent deal for purchasing 2 a corner and a lounge sofa respectively. They look fantastic in our rooms and are very comfortable. The 2 lads think its Tom and Josh were polite and timely in getting the furniture set up and moved to exactly where we wanted it in the rooms. For a chilly day they were both sweating and working extremely hard moving such heavy furniture. The only negative I can say is we only had 1 sofa care pack given to us whereas if we'd have purchased the 2 sofas separately is assume we'd have had 2.

I have had such a great experience with SCS. Lee and Aaron from the Wednesbury store were fantastic! They were really informative, patient and helped us pick our dream sofa. We had Craig and Ben who delivered our sofa who were professional and efficient. They rang 30 minutes before delivery and were really respectful towards our home- taking shoes off etc when installing.

The sales person wasn’t very helpful.The delivery men Marvin & Scott were very pleasant & helpful respected our property.

Not long got back from
purchasing a 2 seater sofa, chair & footstool from the wednesbury store gallagher retail park m6 jct 9 was attended to by a very helpful, knowledgeable, lovely lady called Julie. Such a credit for scs to have this staff member work for them.

Arrived way too early and was not in to witness delivery, partner specifically asked me to have half a day at work so I could check the settee was correct. When i arrive home I find it to be completely the wrong colour and material.

If I could give -1000 stars I would. I purchased a sofa December 2024. It was not delivered until April 2025. It was completely WRONG colour - I ordered beige and I got forest green. They give you a random delivery date on a weekday withour asking you at 3 days notice and threaten £120 fine if you don't show for the delivery. You can't get through on phone to speak to anyone. I spent most days calling and being in the queue at 9am, leaving my phone on all day and some days speaking to someone at 4pm if I'm lucky. They won't answer emails until its been a few days. Because of this I had to get my grandfather who didn't know our order to be there to let the delivery men in on a random Thursday at 3 days notice from SCS and he didn't realise our sofa was wrong colour. We ordered sofa for another room which they marked delivered and they never actually delivered.
People on the phone line on the rare lottery winning occasion I managed to speak to someone will fob you off to send an email (which will never get answered). They refuse to give me their name to keep an appropriate papertrail of my efforts to rectify the situation.
They won't refund unless they've picked up the sofa and guess what - arranging pick up is as difficult as arranging delivery.

The manager at Wednesbury, Aaron, accepted that the staff member who put the order through had put it through as dark green and remembered we had asked for a different colour. After lots of back and forth and him being unhelpful and even being threatening in demeanour, we managed to get the order cancelled. Another female staff member at Wednesbury also started getting unnecessarily involved in my conversation with Aaron when I was there, slating off GPs to me for some reason.

They day I managed to get out of this situation with SCS, 7 months since inital order and 7 months of sitting on the floor, I walked straight out and went to DFS across the road and have been very happy on my DFS sofa since.

Would not touch this company again with a barge pole.

We purchased two leather electric sofa’s.Great experience from start to finish Priti was patient and helpful . Aaron the store manager was great when we had a query. Had to wait a few months for delivery. But now it’s arrived it was well worth the wait. Seems really good quality and is exceptionally comfortable. The delivery van arrived on time. Tom and Paul were clean, polite, knowledgeable and friendly. They took great care with our new furniture and were respectful of our home. Didn’t seem to be in a hurry and ensured everything was as it should be and I was happy before they left, these two gentlemen are a credit to SCS. And all this with a smile in this unbearable heat. Well done and thanks. I’m now a very happy customer relaxing on our new furniture. If the quality is anything like the service I will be very happy with our purchase.

Was informed a week before delivery my delivery date , day before I got a delivery window on the morning my 1/2 hr delivery slot , so pleased with information received

We let him know our budget and what we wanted and he went above and beyond to ensure we found something we were happy with.

Me and my wife could not be happier with what Brendan found us and the service he provided was incredible, it felt as if we knew him and he was a friend we’d known for years!

Please ensure this man gets some recognition, without naming other places or people within the same store, this guy was by far the only one I’d trust.

The service in store was great. Unfortunately they are the frontline representatives for SCS. Aftercare from customer services is non existent. I called on numerous occasions and even emailed them. I still have not received the care kit for my sofas.

The 2 guys were very early we hadn't had time to take old sofa's out so they did it for us which was really helpful and they were very pleasant

Well first of all I think we got the best men for the job - Steve and Dale were excellent, went above and beyond. We followed the tracking and then received a call from them to say they could be with us sooner - fabulous. They introduced themselves and had a look at the room it was going in, then returned with a thick blanket to go on the floor to prevent any scuffs. They unboxed, removed the packaging and fitted it all together. Being an electric recliner and only having a plug point at one end, Steve went back to the vehicle and returned with a ‘splitter’ to reduce cables. Having tested to make sure everything worked they checked we were happy and left, taking all the packaging away with them. Leaving us just to enjoy our new sofa. Throughout the whole process they were friendly, fun, complimentary about our decor and made the whole experience a memorable and pleasurable one. I would definitely recommend them.

From ordering down to delivery every thing that was said happened.Customer service was excellent, the store kept us up to date and contacted as soon as sofa was ready for delivery. Delivery was fantastic. The 2 lads Kyle and Ben were quick,efficient, helpful ,friendly and polite. Would buy from this company again due to the customer service and delivery.

Great service in store and this was carried right through to delivery an installation Receive message the day before delivery hen I the day followed by a curtesy call to let me know they were on route. Great crew, they were polite and got my sofa in and assembled and put whee asked them to position it in the room.
