The staff very informative and everything went well

Great service was given by the young man called billy who was in the hull store, my husband and I felt we had been well looked after

Staff was not pushy aske if we needed help amd we decided to look around the store but once we found the suite we wanted the lady showed us the different materials amd we decided om which material we wanted bery friemdly staff would recommend .

Very proffessional courteous and explained everything that we needed to know. Martin was the sales person who dealt with us and he was very polite and kind we ordered 2 chairs and then went back and saw Martin again and ordered a sofa.

Debbie was the lady who steered through our purchase, and clearly knew just what she was talking about. She was just lovely, and had a superb way of talking to us. No patronising, no trying to force us into doing something we didn't want to - she was excellent. If all the staff, in all the stores, are like Debbie, then they must have the best team ever!

We had a very warm welcome from the staff at the St Andrews Quay store in Hull. Debbie who greeted us was very pleasant and knowledgable about the sofas in store. We gave her a clear idea of what we were after and she took us through the options available. We were very pleased that we could have exactly what we were after and with the vast range of gorgeous leathers on show we didn't have any hesitation on picking the perfect one. Debbie did a quote for us which we took away to have a think about overnight. Not that it was really needed as we had already decided by then that we were going to go ahead with the purchase. We visited the store the next day and met with Debbie again, who was more than happy to help us get things ordered. From walking into the store to finally purchasing our new sofas, it was all a very positive experience. Credit goes to the staff, who also made us a very nice cup of Italian coffee while we were being dealt with. Would highly recommend visiting the store, we can guarantee you'll have a warm welcome and who knows you may leave with a new sofa.

The order process was pretty straightforward, as was the delivery. I had a wait time of circa. 16 wks though for my sofa as I was told it was being built in Italy & therefore expected it to be of a high build standard. Unfortunately, this was not to be the case as both the seat & back cushions do not line up. The seat cushions between the sofa & chaise (corner sofa) are of a different height & the drawer under the sofa is not level with the rest of the base.

I contacted SCS (Hull) & they are sending a Technician out in mid-April to examine the faults I have raised.

I'm extremely disappointed with the quality of the build & the lack of adequate quality control, especially after waiting so long for the item in the first place.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a positive outcome.

Absolutely disgusting that my sofa has started to rip after 16 months of use. Beware of buying insurance too as apparently this isn't covered. Never had problems with my other sofa purchases at other at shops !
The fabric has parted as obviously badly made. Never again will I be recommending this company !

All through the procedure from ordering to delivery everything has been outstanding. The reason for the 4 stars is that one of the back cushions had a hole in it.the delivery men took photos and said they would report it. I would like to point out that Mrs Kitchen is 82 and not mobile so the delivery of a replacement sofa would cause her a lot of stress. A replacement back cushions would be the best route forward.

following on from previous post ref our faulty settee just over a month old...contacted scs head office again to advise that fault had not gone away after vigorous plumping...dont laugh....
Anyway rung as told after first conversation and was directed to tje how to get out of it department.
The lady there said that regardless of our opinions and the fault scs would not change tjere stance and basically said tough we dont want to know.
I could if i want pay at my own cost a third party to inspect and send a report to them she said....
Thing here is that any warranty they reckon aint worth the paper its written on, they are extremely defensive and offensive if you claim a fault.
It ended up that there is no escalation process if you are not satisfied...in other words if its broken or not right...tough luck, we have your money and weve walked away....

Just had a new suite delivered from SCS. Seems a little hard but I'm sure that's because the springs had gone in my old one. I'm sure it will give in time and I'm really pleased with it. When you buy a suite in a different material to the one in the showroom it always feels a bit risky but I love it.

The delivery guys were absolutely great. It was a very windy, wet day and as I'd got a new carpet I asked them to be careful with their feet. Without hesitation they both took their shoes off, even though the suite was coming through the window so it was quite a balancing act.

Would definitely buy from SCS again, from my experience in the showroom through to delivery I have absolutely nothing negative to say.
