The delivery guys were brilliant. Can’t praise them enough, the layout of the house made the delivery quite tricky, but they got the job done. Respectful of property and they took care.
A special mention for Cemi at the Huddersfield beach who sorted out the order after a 3 extended delivery dates. I actually cancelled my order at one stage, but after talking to Cemi, she sorted me out.

A one star review is too high for this so called furniture chain.

If you are looking to purchase furniture, DO NOT GO TO SCS!

From the day following my purchase the issues started. First it was the fact the the sales staff had somehow ordered my sofa, chair, and buffet in different colours. This was eventually remedied, after being told there may be a charge for amending my order, which was their fault for getting wrong.

The delivery date finally arrived only to find that the cushions along with essential parts of the furniture were missing, (legs, recliner power packs, and power leads).

After 10 weeks of attempting to contact ScS help centre (in excess of 20 occasions) and repeated promises that the order would be fulfilled. Three additional deliveries later and after supplying incorrect legs, the order was still not successfully fulfilled. I requested they collect the furniture and requested a full refund.

Surprisingly, the collection of the furniture was the only thing ScS managed to get right first time.

Ordered a sofa back at the end of march, with an expected delivery date of 4th April, that sailed past with no update from SCS, contacting customer service was difficult but when they eventually called me back they didn't know anything. The date on the tracker was updated to expected at the end of April, that again went past with no updates, received an update 13th May saying the new date would be 26th May, which is what it still says now a week later!

Edit 12th June, still nothing from SCS, other than a "we're looking into it"

I had previously bought form SCS Reading and was happy. I noticed the SCS in Huddersfield had a sale and we needed a few items, so went in to browse. We were assisted by Akaash who showed us several sofa's and offered us advice on them. He was warm, polite and not pushy and helped us until we had an idea of what we wanted. Whilst looking around the store I was given a cheeky offer from Kami, which I could not refuse. To be fair it was heavily discounted but we managed to come to a deal which included other items. Kami was humorous and professional so it was a pleasant experience. Thank you

Great service friendly nothing too much trouble

This company’s customer service is an absolute shambles, a disgrace!
Our furniture was delayed by more than 10 weeks from the date originally promised, we have have 5 delivery dates in that time, 4 of which were cancelled 24 hours beforehand, and when delivery eventually took place the foot stool was damaged. Avoid like the plague!

We got our sofa from this company 2 years ago and for the last 1 we have been trying to get problems sorted out due to issues with sofa and chair . We have been handed backwards and forward also had a bloke come out to have a look at sofa and chair who told us we where to heavy for sofa and sitting in it for to long. ( we both work full time) . I have sent another email a few weeks ago only to have another rely saying customer service email is no longer in use and to get in contact it local store , So back to were we started from over a year ago. Will never use this company again and would Not recommend to anyone.

We visited the Huddersfield store today to buy a suite and were made very welcome and received excellent service. Akaash was exceptionally helpful and brought us a cup of delicious Italian coffee to drink while we were discussing our choices.

Akaash was very helpful no pressure just left us to explore the store when we were relaxed on the couch he came to me and my mum with a coffee very helpful very polite sealed the deal

Don't have delivery date for sofas I paid cash for says delivery on 18 04 2025 and won't answer calls or call back when put in queue for call back still got no sofa and am disabled

We bought out furniture from SCS Huddersfield and the staff were very helpful. Our furniture arrived on time and was brought into the house and put in place without problems. The delivery men were polite, pleasant and obviously experts in their job.

Great delivery guys first class professional attitude & attention to customers needs, installed the product cleared up and left in no time.

Mervyn and his pal were great. Very friendly and tidied all mess away. Couldn’t fault them👏👏

5 stars for the delivery crew. The 2 guys were so pleasant an helpful. I'm sorry I can't say the same for the sales person or the service from the store. Finally, I'm now waiting for my sofa to be fixed. The recliner on one of the sofas doesn't work. Wouldn't you think these things would be tested before delivery. Won't buy from scs Huddersfield again.
