Furniture delivered safely and on time. Driver kept in touch regarding arrival time. They were both considerate and polite. Took their shoes off without asking so had respect for our home. Loving the recliner chairs!!!

Staff in both shops we visited was very polite and helpful .

Whilst buying sofa and chair from the shop we had to wait whist sales person disappeared and had discussions about another customer (more important?). When assistant returned we were again interrupted when other customer asked a question. We must have been less important!
Also found out from invoice that the Italian Sofa was actually from A Share and Son in Sunderland. Are you not conning the public with mis - representation in your adverts?

I have used your company a few times and have never had a problem,any problems I've had had always been sorted quickly.The two lads that delivered my new furniture were lovely,very helpful and respectful,asked if they needed to take their shoes off but as long as they was clean I didnt mind,love my new furniture,so far so good 😊

The lady who served me was very helpful and knowledgeable about the options available. I saw a sofa I liked as soon as I arrived at the store and there was no pressure from staff but the price was excellent and I soon decided to buy. I look forward to having my new sofa.

I have been prompted twice to give a review of Poltronesofa despite being at least 2 months away from receiving the sofa we have ordered so this review is simply about the in store experience.

My wife and I were looking to replace a lounge sofa and decided to shop around. There are so many offers and different choices that I had decided to take a photo of our favourite items at the different retailers we visited. Having a photo reminder makes perfect sense when you are out shopping. It was never a problem in any store until we visited SCS Poltronsofa in Chesterfield.

We were on the lookout to buy but still wanted to compare with other stores so I took photos of the sofas we liked with a view to compare later. We spotted a sofa we really liked and was within our budget so I got my phone out and took a few photos. Imagine my surprise to be scolded by a young female store employee yelling across the store that I wasn’t allowed to take photos and that it was clearly shown on the entrance to the shop. I was made to feel small and humiliated Well I hadn’t seen the sign but the young woman’s attitude and very brusque admonishment made me determined to leave the store and never come back. Fortunately another young salesperson stepped in and was extremely courteous and helpful and despite the young lady I eventually purchased the sofa we fell in love with.

We have yet to receive the sofa so that will be a different review but if you are an employer at SCS then whatever your policies are photography you need to train your staff in how to talk to potential customers in a professional manner.

They were very friendly, accommodating and I didn't feel like they were trying to push the sale. I felt very comfortable sharing my opinions about each sofa.

Very nice young man was extremely helpful and listened to our needs and preferences. Hopefully our new sofa will will prove to be of good quality.

I visited SCS in Chesterfield on 9th. April hoping to buy an armchair. I was helped by Shania. Lot's to choose from and lot's fabrics. I've chosen a recliner in a Mink Brown Leather. GIRASOLE-

We ordered a 3 piece suite from the Chesterfield store. We sat with sales assistant Claire for around an hour. She was having problems with the computer and called for someone to help her. Eventually the order was placed for delivery in January. She read the order back to us and all was OK. Around New Year I noticed on my phone in the tiniest writing it said our 2 chairs had wooden feet which is what we wanted but the sofa had chrome feet ( chrome was never even mentioned at the time of ordering).
We went into the store and indeed the order had been placed incorrectly.
We were told by the manager, who seemed like he couldn't be bothered, that we would have been told to check the order within 2 days. Neither of us remember Claire saying this, however I did look but did not pick up on their mistake. We asked the manager if we could order new legs , not possible.
Many phone calls followed , either not returned or given empty promises.
Customer service told us it was a store error and the sofa should be replaced but the manager denied he had ever even received their email. We went back to store and he spoke to us from upstairs hanging over a balcony , totally rude.
We logged a complaint with Customer service about his attitude and lack of customer care.
After a while we received a phone call from Lee, an area manager who said he wanted to sort this out. He came to our house on 30th January with electric drill in hand?! Said he would be in touch within a week or so , now 4 weeks later, surprise surprise, we've heard nothing.
All in all we've had terrible service and are left with a mis-matched 3 piece suite. Maybe we should have noticed Claire's error , maybe they should give a paper copy of the order and maybe they could have made a quick phone call to us to say" is this what you really want? "
Either way, the error was made by Claire
and neither she nor the manager have had the decency to say " we are sorry"
SCS are a total waste of space , they might be OK if all goes to plan but if it doesnt you are on your own.
If you value your money DO NOT USE THEM

Both delivery personnel were efficient and professional, clearly their time is limited per drop, they were not able to have a hot drink.

Excellent service and prompt delivery

Great service from start to finish, from the lady (Claire) who helped me choose in the shop to the two guys (Todd & Kanden) who delivered and set up for me. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a no hassle buying experience

Complex and Late delivery.

I was told the delivery would be between 3:50 and 4:30pm, the VAN arrived just before 6pm. The crew that delivered the Sofa’s appeared to be doing a second shift due to an earlier failed collection. They had been working since 5am.

The 3 man sofa was a very tight fit, almost didn’t get through the front door. An internal door had to be removed. None of this complexity was explained prior to the delivery.

Delay aside, the delivery crew were exceptional, especially considering their long day. The door that was removed, was re-installed. The sofa’s were built (where needed) and all the packaging removed. Couldn’t thank them enough.
