Ordered one Sofa Bed worth more than £1200 IN. Got completely scammed. they gave the Sofa bed IN MARCH 25 specially bed structure with cheap quality. Tried to contact the Customer service for last 1 month. no Response. visited their store given an email addres and Complained no response for last 3 weeks. Review relates to SCS branch based in Beckton E6. Dis-colouration of sofa occurred within 3 years despite me taking out additional 5 year premium cover on the leather itself. When I got in touch they passed me onto their insurers who declined to send out a technician to rectify the problem concerning the leather fade. Eventually got in touch with furniture Ombudsman who basically said that the 5 year extended warranty doesn't cover structural defects. ScS denied there was a structural/ manufacturing defect. that's how the conmen got away. Look at the loopholes in the insurance before spending more money on insurance cover. I will never purchase anything from SCS ever again.

I wish I could give this company a positive review, but unfortunately, the experience has been extremely frustrating and truly unacceptable. We ordered three sofa items for my disabled mother, but only one was delivered, leaving her without adequate seating. There was no communication about the status of the remaining items or when they would arrive.

Concerned about the missing items, my mother reached out to customer services, waited on hold for hours and was eventually assured she would receive a call back on Saturday with an update. She waited all day, but no call ever came. This lack of reliability and poor communication is incredibly disappointing, especially given the circumstances.

A business should take its commitments to customers seriously—especially when dealing with essential furniture deliveries for vulnerable individuals. I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing from this company to ensure they are prepared for potential delays and unanswered queries

Have not received order made on 5 January. We were told it could be expected by 18 April. No order or delivery update after this date so we called and were told delivery will be 29 April. Just received a message to say this delivery has been cancelled and they have no expected delivery date. What is going on ScS? Very poor customer service and not managing my expectations at all. Store staff were lovely.

Overall great experience

Ordered a sofa for my mum at the end of January . Delivery day was 14th March . SCS then have another 28 days to deliver after D day . That passed as well and there has been no notification from SCS to say there has been a delay. Called up their HQ in Sunderland and the customer service is absolutely woeful . That’s being polite. The people who pick up the phones do not have a clue . You ask to speak to managers when the phone lines open at 10am and are told ( at 10.05am) that they are all busy . When you ask which managers they have tried to contact - they can’t answer. It’s absolutely shocking. Then when you do get a call they promise they will call
Back the next day - never happens . Still waiting for the sofa - was due into the depot on 25th April - now told it won’t be there . They are dog sh1t and that’s being polite

We were very pleasantly and attentively seen by Sam. Nothing was too much trouble sorting out change of colour of sofa. Excellent service and manners.

The staff were incredibly disrespectful. I received innapropiate comments such as "Go to daddy" which was said by an "owner" of the store. We were also stalked sround the store making us very uncomfortable. I felt that a sofa shop should allow customers to experience and test sofas and furnatures they can potentially buy. I was profiled and he did not do this to other customers that were present.

Delivery team were, efficient, and professional.

Navi your sales agent was brilliant, very kind and knew the product well. Definitely a good sales person with excellent customer service.

I am a very disappointed customer with SCS!! I have ordered Sofa from SCS and it was supposed to be delivered on 6th of March, when the delivery men came, they told me that the sofa was damaged and they took it back. I have been told that someone will contact me to let me know when my Sofa is going to be delivered. Now it’s been 4 weeks today from the day it supposed to be delivered and I haven’t heard anything since. I keep emailing and calling their customer service and no one bothered to reply back to me. Now I have a very special occasion coming up and I want yo know when my sofa is going to be delivered!!!

Ridiculous waiting over 4 months for a sofa...

Do not buy your sofas from SCS. I’ve spent near £4,000 on just one sofa which I bought from the lakeside branch. They wouldn’t let me borrow a swatch when I came to Beckton, even they had two of each, just so I could try and match it as I want the wooden strips on the media wall to match the colour of the sofa. B&Q are right opposite and they just flatly refused. I just had to go there, match a paint, and give them the swatch back. My sofa hasn’t even been delivered yet but we’re at the point in the house reno where we need the paint to get everything finished before we move back in. I wasted nearly half an hour trying to match the swatch to various paint shades on my phone whilst in store and have given up. The staff here were even less interested in helping when I told them I had ordered the sofa at Lakeside. Avoid this company. The service is crap. They’re interested in flogging you the sofas, probably for the sake of their commission, and nothing more. And don’t expect their head office customer services to answer the phone and help you either. Save yourself the stress and find yourself a more helpful company.

Sort your delivery and after sales care out pronto!

What's the point of this tracking order when it's always wrong? You should get a refund from the developers and implementation team that set this up for you.

Great in store sales service.
Terrible after sales service. Just noreply emails, 2 hour call times and inaccurate delivery tracking.

After waiting over 12 weeks for delivery we have now had the delivery rescheduled 3 times.

It's totally ruined our Mothers Days plans for the weekend as we've waiting around both Saturday and Sunday for delivery as we were notified it would be delivered. It was cancelled last Tuesday. There have been no messages from customer service about the reason for cancelling and no delivery/ lateness. Just the expectation that we will sit around and wait for them to knock on the door.

The delivery tracking does not update even after the delivery time window has overshot by 4 hours today.

It is a shame that the only way to contact SCS is through trustpilot and even then I can see it's a copy and paste job from Bradley.

Please can someone communicate accurately with us when the delivery will be?

The store advisor was really good where he gave us time to look around the store and he was knowledgeable with the sofa that we was looking at.
