Sudbury Garden Dining Chairs
I ordered 4 Sudbury garden dining chairs which are galvanised metal and able to withstand weather. My delivery was due and then cancelled until the following day which was annoying as I had arranged for someone to be here. The chairs arrived stacked in the back of a tatty van with no protection and parcels and packages bundled on top. The chairs are sturdy and excellent quality however one chair had rust on two joints near the seat. I emailed the same day to request a replacement and didn’t hear back so sent a further email and then telephoned, when I eventually got through customer service was helpful and arranged a replacement. I had a text yesterday to say delivery will be today and now today’s delivery has just been cancelled again advising they will be in touch when they are able to deliver.
Overall my experience has been negative and would stop me from buying from Rowen & Wren in the future which is such a shame as their products are excellent.
I have been extremely disappointed with the delivery and how my items where handled and the chairs were obviously not checked for faults before being dispatched.

Hi Ms Harris, we are deeply sorry to have heard of the problems you experienced last week. I do understand that you have spoken to our team now and the replacement for the faulty chair has been arranged. Regarding the problems over the delivery, please accept our deepest apologies - we are experiencing a number of issues on this front caused by unexpected changes to our delivery partner's service, and we are doing all we can to put things right and minimise the disruption to our customers, who are being inconvenienced through no fault of their own.
We're sorry that you've been affected in this way and will continue to monitor your order until we know that everything has been resolved to your satisfaction, and hope that we can give you the confidence to order from us again at some point in the future.

Loved everything I’ve bought from here
Loved everything I’ve bought from here. The attention to details mean the items are special and make me feel calm looking at them. The delivery for a table and chairs was one of the best I’ve had, they were on time, respectful, put it up with care and took away all the packaging.

Excellent
I have bought several items from Rowen & Wren including furniture and soft furnishings. The quality of their products is fantastic and their customer support is excellent. There was a courier issue with a rug delivery which was resolved with no fuss and another rug was shipped immediately to arrive the following day. I have my eye on many more items!

ROWEN and WREN chair delivery not as expected
Chair from ROWEN and WREN arrived in the delivery slot however it was clear that DX had subcontracted the delivery. The 2 individuals who delivered the chair had very bad body odour which is still pervading the house 30 minutes later. I also had to persuade them to take away the packaging by showing them the email from ROWEN and WREN who stipulated this. This was not the service I expected.

Hi Chris, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. DX have only been delivering to our customers for a very short time, and we are very much aware that things are not running as well as they ought to be. We're working very hard to minimise the impact on our customers but it goes without saying - and this has been raised with them - that our delivery service is to room of choice, with all packaging taken away.
I know our care team responded to your email yesterday so I do hope that we have adequately addressed your concerns but should this not be the case, do contact us again and we will of course do everything we can to help.

Absolutely charming
Rowen & Wren always has the most beautiful & charming pieces. The quality always exceeds my expectations and you can see the care and thoughtful detail that go into every item. I recently purchased the oak bathroom cabinet, for the second time, as it is so perfect and adds so much character to my small secondary bathrooms. If I could buy a little cottage and outfit it completely in Rowen & Wren, I think I would be the happiest person in the world!

Nice Product; Problems with Delivery
I'm happy with the footstool I ordered. It's a well-made and attractive product, although rather expensive for the size.
There were problems with delivery. The item didn't arrive on the day promised and initially appeared to have been lost by the delivery company. However, Rowen and Wren worked hard to resolve the issue.

We have been quite severely affected by some changes taking place with our delivery partner which have left a number of customers quite inconvenienced through no fault of their own.
I don't have access to the full history of the issue right now but I will have this checked at the start of this coming week and our team will be in touch to discuss a way we can appropriately compensate you for the poor service.
We are of course delighted that you are happy with the footstool and hope that it has its place in your home for many years to come.

Purchased the Bilton bathroom shelf
Purchased the Bilton bathroom shelf, it was expensive for what it is as glass is not tempered and is not thick either.
Cost with delivery £94.
I received the shelf but package was not checked before dispatch as it had only one wall plug.
I have emailed and was told they would send one out. Had to email again - still no spare received .

We are sure this was sent out with Royal Mail 1st Class last week so we are hopeful it might have turned up by now? Please let our team know on care@rowenandwren.co.uk and if it's still not with you, we will send out another on a fully tracked service this time. Garden table fiasco
I ordered a garden table which failed to arrive on the delivery date that I had selected and I am still waiting for today. Since that time there was no reason given for the failed delivery, there was complete confusion as to when I could expect the delivery. Eventually it arrived today, over 3 weeks since I ordered it, the top was damaged and there was no assembly pack. Unbelievable. I have not received a refund for the delivery charge or been offered any compensation. I am incredibly disappointed in this company. There is little point in having a glossy website with expensive goods if they fail to arrive on time or undamaged.

Hi Alison, we're so sorry you've had this experience with your order. We are struggling with some rapid changes to our delivery provider that have caused us huge problems and great inconvenience to many of our customers, you among them. You did speak to our Head of Operations around the time you posted this review and he assured you that once delivery had successfully been made of a new table next week, he would personally call you back and discuss the matter of compensation, and this will happen as promised. Our apologies for the disappointment and great frustration caused, we are working very hard indeed to put this right as quickly as we are able to.
