RMG. Positives: none to mind.
Negatives. Sky high service charges. Poor communication from staff/buildings manager. Poor repair response. Not challenging high repair prices. Not negotiating better deals for services provided to building. Use of a heating system that they make up billing rates. General lack of empathy.

I’d like to thank RMG for the continued excellent maintenance of our smoke alarms. Despite our annual fire inspection repeatedly telling them that we shouldn’t actually have the alarms, they go ‘above and beyond’ to charge us thousands of pounds a year to make sure that all eight alarms continue to function. Well done RMG!

Need a battery changing in one of the alarms? No worries - RMG will arrange for someone to drive hundreds of miles to do this simple task and only charge you just over £250 for this. Super!

Unhappy with the smoke alarm service? RMG will happily escalate to a formal complaint, close it off, and change nothing. Great work RMG!

They are bloody useless, there public sector is crap. I've had blocked pipes for over a week now, there property managers have known since Wednesday, I've had no contact from anyone about this and all I get is rubbish everytime I phone to ask what's going on. A flat next door that they manage has blocked my bathroom an kitchen sink, I can't shower, wash my clothes, or wash my dishes as water ends up in the bath because of the blockage

RMG is ruining my life and those of everyone that live in the building.

I have spent over 100 hours in the past year dealing with RMG and dealing with issues that RMG have caused including moving out of my apartment for weeks.

I have damp outside of my flat that first appeared in 2024 and remains there today. I lodged a formal complaint with RMG and the property manager that manages the property responded to the complaint and have tried to blame it on the insurer. I have requested to see the insurer communication as unlike managing agents, the insurers under the consumer duty act have a legal obligation to treat customers fairly. I have not received that communication.

It is noticeable that in the scenario that I dealt with the insurer directly, the damage was rectified in <5 months rather than over 2 years.

RMG have a complaint process where the property manager is the same person as the person who handles the complaints!!! I would love to see a roster of complaints received vs complaints upheld and the outcomes of what action is taken after that.

You couldn't make up the level of incompetence in managing the building, even the basics of putting up signs they can't get correct (we had conflicting signs up next to each other referring to different floor numbers at one point - I wonder how much we were charged for that?!) We currently have exactly the same front doors with one having a fire door label and one not. We have the communal front doors with stickers saying they failed fire safety in 2023 but RMG telling us they have passed.

Due to RMG negligence, my neighbor has been out of his apartment for 18 months. I remember standing in the corridor with excrement coming down the wall and the property manager telling us that there was no problem.

This ongoing willful negligence is already leading to mental health challenges for those living in buildings managed by RMG and it is only a matter of time until it leads to physical harm.

It doesn't matter who you deal with Archi, Justin, Sarah - receive the same stonewalling and failure to take fast and effective action or oversee contractors.

Insane amount of incompetence in communication and their inability to fix the tiniest problems paired with disregard for residents health.

The amount of hot water outages, unannounced 90dB construction noise over weeks and broken facilities we had to deal with in under 2 years is mind boggling.

I would reject flats at half the price at this point if I got a whiff of them being managed by RMG.

Having notified EWS in regard to contractors ( including vehicle details) attending for works to a property in phase 2 we were concerned to receive a parking notice on the first day. I was extremely fortunate to meet with Adrian Merchant, estate manager, when I went to the estate office to advise. Adrian took immediate ownership, communicating with his team and confirmed that the situation would be resolved. His professional and helpful approach cannot be understated . Personable, effective and reassuring.

I had 2 issues regading my invoices which has some complication.
Hodan went through things with me thoroughly.
She swiftly identified a problem and rectified, offering a good solution. I'm very happy and satisfied with her help.

I had a on going problem that needed resolving for over 2 weeks. After calling the office and being put through to Hodan Yusuf, all my problems were resolved at once! She Was such a pleasure to deal with and was very reactive in solving my problems straight away. She even emailed me a couple days later giving me a update on the issue she had resolved, this just proved to me she really has a passion for what she does!
