Richer Sounds - Tunbridge Wells Arvostelua 

I recently had dealings with Joe of Richer Sounds in Tunbridge Wells. His service was second to none!
He were unbiased in his product knowledge (which was encyclopedic) and was incredibly helpful.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Highly recommended!

Easy online purchase process, great advice over the phone from Joe about choice of turntable, prompt in store delivery and friendly, helpful conversation on collection.

There is always a network of very knowledgeable staff at this branch compared to other suppliers whose expertise was good in dishwashers and tumble dryers but not so good when it came to the DENON AVR-S760 I recently purchased. The 6 year guarantee RS provide gives me "PRODUCT COMFORT" which is very important to me.

How all retail should be.
The advice and support in store was first class, and made all the difference to the buying process! Really happy with our LG LED TV and Denon surround sound system!

Every time I have used you, the service has been excellent, and this time it even surpassed it’s self, as I had a problem with my receiver only playing out of one speaker, on speaking to your staff about it, they arranged for a new one to be delivered the next day, and also pick up the faulty one, of which I am grateful.

The service provided by the Richer Sound staff was second to none and I am very happy with the Majority Quadriga, which is an excellent piece of kit.

I was far from happy with the performance of DPD whose incompetence knows no bounds. The result was the delivery being a full day late.

I've been shopping with Richer Sounds since the 1980s, and they have consistently provided top class service.
They have a close knit, friendly and professional staff who are always knowledgeable and helpful, with literally no hard sell.
Their product range is great and the prices always competitive... buying from Richer Sounds is an absolute no brainer.

As usual, looked after very well, staff are alway polite and efficient.

Friendly staff knew exactly what I wanted not at all pushy to make sale.
Even allowed us to leave the car while we went for a bite to eat at a place they recommended.
Products arrived as promised next day.

After a most helpful and pleasant experience buying a new and extravagant HiFi system during Covid, I decided to buy a replacement Freesat STB to replace my now old Humax STB. I phoned in advance to arrange a time to visit the showroom to get some advice and buy a 2TB recordable STB. The Assistant Manager said he would order one anyway as there wasn't one in stock. I arrived as agreed only to find a completely different unit had been ordered ! I was unable to get answers to my detailed questions, but was told that there was an 'out of box' shop used one available and at a modest discount; so I agreed to buy it. After some searching, a power supply was found and simple check performed to see that it worked. I went home happy (or so I though). Once home and having connected-up the new STB, I found some unexpected behaviour with the unit. It turned-out that the power supply was incorrect (18w not 36w) and after a phone call to explain the problem, was told that I'd get a call back later that day when the correct power supply had been found. One week later after not receiving a call-back, I telephoned again and was told that a new one had been ordered. I asked when and how it would arrive and was told that I'd get a call-back with the answers later that day. Two days later after not receiving a call-back, I phoned again. I was told that there had been a mixup, but there was now a brand new one in the store and that I could have the power supply from it. I went straight to the store and swapped it for the wrong one.
After my review above, I've been contacted by the senior management at Richer Sounds with a sincere apology and a promise to improve staff performance at the Tunbridge Wells branch. As a result, I'm more likely to choose to go to Richer Sounds again. I'm prepared to put the poor communication and lack of genuine technical knowledge from the shop staff behind me and hope for better in the future.

Unfortunately when I tried to order from the website something (I guess) technical halted my progress and meant the ‘Next’ button didn’t work. So I rang telesales instead and placed my order that way. The team were brilliant, as we’ve come to expect from Richer Sounds, placed my order and emailed the paperwork straight away. My order arrived by Next Day Delivery. Great service as usual, nice one.
