Not fresh or local
Sold to me on the basis that the fish was fresh from Grimsby. The prawns were farmed in India and the sea bass from the Mediterranean. The prawns have been in the freezer for a year before reaching my doorstep!

Harassing phone calls
I ordered some fish several months ago which was ok but i decided to stay with my usual supplier. The problem is they wont stop phoning me and it has become extremely annoying and although I have told them to stop they still call. I block the number and they call be on a different one. The calls finally stopped last month but they decided to call me yesterday. I never give reviews but I am extremely annoyed with this company and want them to leave me alone.

Poor customer service and awful website
I have been a Regal Fish customer for many years, around 15 perhaps? But sadly soon to be an ex-customer. The service has gone downhill, as has the website. Couldn't sign in, told it was a new website so needed to reset my password. I clicked on the 'forgotten password' link, twice, but no email arrived. I wanted to find out when my next delivery would be, this used to be easy to check on the website, but now I can't find any way to do that. Also much less flexibility on delivery times now, and more difficult to talk to anyone. And as others have said, delivery instructions and timings are often ignored. I have emailed Customer Services and await a reply, but like many companies it seems Regal Fish are not customer focused anymore. I will be sad to leave after so many years.

Dear Customer, thank you for your review. I am so sorry to hear you feel this way, please accept my apologies for your disappointment. Please be assured that I have sent an email reply to your enquiry with regards to your reset login issue with some helpful information. We didn't in fact carry over the postcode check for the delivery dates from the former website to the new one, however this may be something that is reinstated at some point in the future. Our delivery times are more often than not defaulted to between 1pm - 7pm for our Regal van deliveries. We are open Mon - Fri 8am - 7pm, our office telephone lines are always manned during these times and there is a voicemail facility to leave a message should our lines be busy when you call. We have a live chat facility during these hours also, you may send an email or contact us via Facebook messenger. All of our lines of communication have not changed and we will aim to respond in a timely manner. We pride ourselves on our standard of service and being customer focused to provide the level of service they have come to rely upon. We are happy to assist you in any way we can please feel free to contact us using any of the methods above. We certainly wouldn't want to lose your custom after so many loyal years of service, we value you very much and hope we can restore some of your faith and trust.
