Regal Fish Arvostelua 

Just got my first shipment from them after my great former supplier underwent a disappointing change. All appears good so far. everything arrived frozen or fresh as it should have. They have a nice selection of fresh, prepared, some imported specialities. Had my first - a trout fillet - tonight. It was excellent. Cannot wait to try all the others as I ordered a broad cross section as a test.

Well what can I say, this Regal Fish guy knocks on my door yesterday and the wife answers the door, I was not home, I could clearly hear on our security cameras that the wife had repeatedly asked your cold caller to leave and was not interested, but clearly you do not understand no!!! After a good number of minutes later he did finally leave. Maybe extra training should be provided to your staff. I would be interested to see how he would have reacted if it was male home owner that answered the door. My advice is if you see regal fish approaching your front door, don’t open it especially if you are a female or feel vulnerable

Decided to give them a try but was disappointed - lovely big haddock loins that looked great but haddock was wet and mushy when cooked suggesting the fish had been frozen and defrosted too quickly.

Better options out there IMHO

Awful, 2 lobster tails for a special occasion, 2.5 teaspoons of lobster meat in each . You would require 8 to 10 tails just for one portion. Absolutely scandalous gutted

The fish really nice

I've had two orders now from Regal Fish and I have to say how impressed I am with the ease of ordering, the way the order is packed and most importantly how fantastic everything is, the quality is brilliant, it won't be very long before my next order. Just brilliant.

STOP HARASSING ME! I bought fish from you once a few years ago and you won't stop calling me. Reading other Trust Pilot reviews, this appears to be something you do to many customers. IT WON"T MAKE ME BUY FROM YOU, EVER! I have blocked your number but you must have several numbers that you make calls from that you are blocking when you make these harassment calls. It always goes straight to my voicemail and my phone never rings. Every time you call me I will leave you negative feedback until you get the message. So grow a conscience and show your customers the respect they deserve.

Time I chipped in here. I have been having deliveries of fish from Regal for about seven years now, and the produce and the service have been consistently excellent. Quite apart from the haddock fillets I always have, the prepared food is also well worth exploring. Their smoked haddock fish cakes are very tasty, and the traditional smoked peppered mackerel are quite pricey, but well worth it. (Yer get wot yer pay for).

We've been buying fish from them when they launched in the late 80s and we've never had something that wasn't First Class. I'd recommend this company, not just for the fish but for their friendly staff too. Enjoy!

When you place an order the staff are always helpful, polite and courteous.
The order is always delivered between the times quoted and usually at the approximately same time each delivery, which makes being around to take delivery much easier.
The delivery driver is always smiley, polite, helpful and courteous.

Fish was great ,but as a new customer your customer service is awful .very rude staff member taking payment from me. Wanted to order more don't think I will bother now .as for the rubbish reply I spent £20 exactly.

Disappointed!
I saw a Regal Fish van delivering on my street, to the house opposite. I said ‘hello’ and asked if he could pop over as I wanted to know more about their services and tbh craving some fish too!

He said he would be over in a minute. I waited with my front door open for a good 3/4 minutes hoping not to miss him but within minutes he was seen driving off . Very disappointed to say the least.

Cold called at home. We don’t eat that much fish but I got some sardines for my dogs as treats. Ever since then I must of been called 3/4 times every week by regal fish. I thought they would get the hint after the 10th time but no, they are very persistent and annoying!! I sent an email and have been reassured that they would stop. We will see…

Didn’t like the fact the fish was delivered by DPD delivery, In a box with a HUGE amount of packaging. Much preferred the more hands on approach of it being delivered by Regal Fish themselves when it was delivered in a refrigerated van in a plastic bag with a couple of ice packs to keep it cold. I call that customer service. It was just another delivery delivered by a company who deliver as quickly as possible and would rather leave in a “safe place” than deal face to face with the recipient. Very disappointing.

Regal Fish have a good system. Their van comes to your area about once every two months, and delivery is free. They let you know a couple of weeks before each delivery, and you can order by phone or online.
They have a good selection of fresh fish and seafood, and they tell you where it comes from, whether it's farmed and so on. They also do meals like fish pie and cod wellingtons.
If you have a good local fishmonger you probably don't need it but most of us don't so it's useful.
The only downside is that if you don't place an order, you get a lot of phone calls in the run-up to the delivery day (see the negative reviews), but you can just ignore them.

I never buy from a knock on the door, only this time I did! More expensive than Aldi, but less than Waitrose, for the best fish direct to your door. Regal have this so right, really efficient and modern in approach.

Not what it used to be. Portions are massively reduced in size and as a result are verging on daylight robbery. Won’t be using again. Had a response to my review- absolute nonsense. Checked previous orders and as an example Halibut £17 for 500g now £15.75 for 300g. An increase of 55%. Another supplier jumping on the inflation bandwagon and raising prices way above what they should be.

Great communications

Great staff on orders over the phone. Asked if they could call me the following day so I could get my order together and they happily did this. Always helpful pointing out offers.
