They didn't done my battery check and aircon check.I didn't get my invoice too.
I would like to get an answer about this

Quick service staff very helpful and polite

Needed an MOT which failed on a few points which were easily corrected at a reasonable price. I always use Gates’ Tyres - fair and reasonably priced. Thank you!

Been using Gates Tyres for years great service friendly staff nothings a bother

Took 1 and half hours to replace a tyre from removing from the vehicle and replacing, that is terrible service

Can’t fault the whole team.

Th only fault with the service was that the car was booked in for 16:00
The work on the car didn’t start till 16:45 which is a long time to wait 15-20 minutes fair enough is acceptable 45 minutes is far to long
Apart from that everything was finr

Booked in for a platinum service and mot when I picked the car up they give me the mot cert ,no paperwork for platinum service would have been nice for document or someone explaining what had been done or replaced etc

I visited Protyre Workington Lillyhall for a routine appointment and my vehicle was returned with damage to the centre console touchscreen. This was not present prior to my visit.

I reported the issue immediately and was advised it would be investigated by management. Since then, I have had little to no meaningful communication despite following up multiple times.

I have now obtained a repair estimate from DS Automobiles, which confirms the cost to rectify the damage is £857.22.

I am extremely disappointed with both the damage caused and the lack of response in resolving the issue. I would urge the company to improve both care of customer vehicles and communication when issues arise.

I would still prefer to resolve this directly and hope Protyre will now take responsibility.

However, I find it concerning that you have been able to respond here on Trustpilot, yet I have still not received any meaningful reply to my emails sent several days ago regarding this matter.

As previously outlined, this issue was raised promptly and a repair estimate of £857.22 has been provided for damage caused whilst the vehicle was in your care.

The matter has now been ongoing without any clear update, timeline, or resolution.

Please can you confirm when I will be contacted directly and how this will be resolved, as this delay is not acceptable.

Called up with a nail my tyre. Was seen at short notice, great Service and a good price. Happy customer!

Fitted me in 30 minutes before closing. Puncture repair in a difficult part of the tyre, but holding so far 👍

Efficent on line booking, and tyres fitted quickly .engineer was excellent, even asking why I was replacing two tyrea when only had a puncture in o e. ( 4 wd drive hybrid)

Easy to book your mot on line. Staff very courteous and efficient from start till finished while waiting for your car. Total professionalism.

Easy online ordering, good pricing and the fitting agents were great.

Normally I'd give 5 stars, but I went in for puncture repair and they said there was 2 screws in but they can't do it it will have to be a new tyre, so I let them change the tire, I've been up to skoda at Carlisle for a service and asked what a sealed tyre is, they said to me my car as not got sealed tyres, so I'm a bit pissed off this time, I've got a bit of wire in the front one, they just repaired it in the garage.

Always lots of choice of tyres both in size and price wise, if they don't have your tyres in stock they'll have them next day. Used Protyre/Gates for many years now, they've always got the job done quickly and professionally, prices I'm happy with, most of all friendly and helpful staff.

Staff are friendly and straight up with customers. Prices are compatible with anywhere else and booking / payment is easy enough online. Never had any issues in the years I've used the garage. That's why I've given 4*.

The draw back is the online 'time slot' booking system which is a bit misleading.
This is a drop-in centre and fitters graft all day. Don't expect your car to be pulled in at the exact time you booked. There isn't a dedicated team within the team who prioritise online bookings, otherwise I'd have given 5*. You just join the queue when you arrive. Be patient and prepared to wait.
