My son visited with our little granddaughters and had long journey home to Winchester. The tyre had faulty stem valve which Porsche said they had fixed but hadn't and were closed for weekend. It was a busy Saturday, Protyre in Wilmslow were helpful but directed me to Stockport branch as they had correct part. They fitted the part at a fraction of price Porsche charged. Amazing service and potential lifesaver.

Good service and job well done
Good service and job well done. I had MOT which failed on worn rear tyres. Went back next day for tyres and retest. Later find the tyres were £20 each cheaper from Asda which ironically would have included free fitting at the same garage.. My bad for not checking really...😏

The best service around.
Protyre Stockport are always so friendly and efficient. I called in while I was passing last Saturday just to get booked in for the following week and they fitted me in for one tyre there and then. Very happy with them indeed. Always my go to place.

Protyre checked my car within a couple…
Protyre checked my car within a couple of days of me calling them. They repaired the fault and I was able to collect my car after 3 or 4 hours.
They were able to check and repair at least 3 weeks sooner than the main dealership and the overall cost was much less than the dealership wanted for just carrying out a diagnostic check. Great service.

Something has gone seriously wrong
Something has gone seriously wrong at protyre Stockport.
I took my car in for it's mot on Tuesday the 13th of October 26.
I waited and waited, then decided to approach the desk and ask whether my car was ready, I was rudely informed that it had failed because of a coolant leak, and then no more explanation or comment was given by the staff.
When I arrived and parked my vehicle at protyre the car was running perfectly with no leaks
When I got into my vehicle after the rude interaction I found that there was a warning on my dash saying coolant level low.
So obviously whilst my vehicle was having the mot carried out it had developed a coolant leak.
I stopped on the way home and topped up the coolant, on arriving home I discovered that the thermostat housing had given up the ghost.
What really annoyed and disappointed me was the lack of interaction from the mot personnel or the rest of the team.
If this had been the protyre team from 18 months/two years ago this would have gone very differently with a lot more support from the old staff that are no longer there.
It used to be a pleasure to visit protyre Stockport because you we're treated with respect and informed of anything that was happening with your vehicle , and the team we're more than happy to help.

I had another excellent experience with…
I had another excellent experience with Protyre Stockport , I hit a prominent curb stone with the nearside front wheel and damaged the new tyre they had fitted the previous week ! They replaced the tyre and realigned the tracking with excellent service .
