Home Insurance Renewal
I called Privilege as my premium had increased significantly and had not made a claim. When speaking to the representative and explaining my reason for calling, she said let me check and see how I an help you. After checking she was able to reduce my premium although it was still higher than I paid last year and was average in the marketplace.

Disappointing experience
Disappointing experience. I’m moving home and needed to add on the house I’m moving to between exchange and completion and then transfer existing policy to new house. I rang up in advance of exchange to check I could do this and they said I could do it just ring up after exchange. Rang up after exchange and turns out I can’t do this on standard home insurance policy. Left me in a bit of stress as now have to find another company today to insurance the new property for a month. If they had told me correct information when I first rang I could have sorted the new policy then with another company and wouldn’t have the stress of trying to do it on the day when I have plans. So wouldn’t recommend if you are planning on moving house within the year of your policy unless you take out the platinum one. Also be careful of any advice given over the phone as it is not always correct.

I have been until today a loyal and long standing customer but when I made a claim with a play on words they decided not to cover my conservatory roof claim so do not believe the all that you are being told.
TOTAL RIP OFF.
