Potters Resorts Arvostelua 

It’s been many years since our last visit for various reasons and one was Covid the others were timing.
We were pleasantly surprised with all that had changed. Lots of refurbishment had taken place. The “garden room” was new. The introduction of “all inclusive” and the way that was managed was very good with waiter service to your table. The staff were extremely pleasant always a smiling face and courteous. Nothing was too much of a hassle.
Plenty of entertainment going on throughout the day. There be something either quizzes, archery, rifle shooting, table tennis. The list goes on.
As usual the food was very good, waiter service on certain meals is available or help your self from the buffet. The choice is yours but on both accounts you’ll not be disappointed.
We had accommodation in the hotel and there’s nothing to complain about. The rooms are very spacious and well presented. You’ll not be disappointed with accommodation.
On the resort it’s extremely well kept, clean and tidy with plenty of reminders about personal hygiene - which is very important in such a resort.
Entertainment by the Potters Theatre Group was very good. Pre show singers were excellent. They get you involved and warm you up for the main show. Can’t fault the actual show it self. We’ll put together attention to detail is first class. You’ll not be disappointed.
Overall it’s a great place to be whether you’re there for a three or four night stay - you’ll want to go back.
Endeavouring to re visit next year. We wish there was a Potters in the west of the country.

Our third visit to potters, second one to five lakes. As before wonderful food great room and amazing, helpful staff. The evening show was excellent but not too keen on the other entertainment, felt very childish at times particularly the pre show entertainment. I dont think five lakes has such a full programme of activities as Hopton. In conclusion, potters is the ideal place to relax and be taken care of.

What more can I say 5 lakes is an amazing place to stay from the luxury rooms, great food, wonderful staff and amazing entertainment.

We had a marvellous festive weekend break at Potters Resort in Hopton on Sea. This was our third visit to Hopton and we treated ourselves to the Penthouse Suite. We'll worth he extra expense. Huge bedroom with super king bed, jacuzzi bath, large shower, dressing gowns and slippers and beautiful fluffy towels. The food was plentiful and good, the evening show excellent and amenities for those who wanted something more than a relaxing break. Have booked for next year already.

I really don’t like saying this but it’s not as good as it was. Cutting costs on food, drinks and entertainment. Food definitely not as good, little things like cheese and biscuits, portions a lot smaller, a very bad selection of biscuits just a few small crackers. The prawn in sweet and sour now a minced prawn with breadcrumbs rather than whole prawns in batter, lots of other minor things but all relevant.A few drinks taken off the all inclusive, Malibu, cocktail’s etc. People notice these things so we are giving it a miss for a while. Sorry Potters it’s definitely not the same.

We had a great time at potters resort Hopton-on-Sea. The staff are super friendly and helpful, entertainment is good but do miss the live band. The chalet that we stayed in was looking a bit tired in places but we didn’t spend much time in there. Lots to do both day and night.

We returned from a midweek break which included an optional bowls break, which we signed up for. All elements of the stay were excellent. The bowls break was well organised, friendly and ran like clockwork. Meals were varied and well cooked and presented. Special mention to our waiter Ryan, who was helpful and efficient. Overall a relaxing break.

Great resort. The accommodation, food and entertainment were first class. This was our first time at Five Lakes having been to Hopton for the last 16 years and it compares favourably with Hopton. The theatre is much better. There were no queues to get in and you had a good view wherever you sat. We will definitely go again.

Had a great time. Food was great. Plenty of choice. Great service.
Entertainment was fantastic. Room was very nice and serviced every day.
Definitely will return in the future.

My wife and myself went to five lakes at the beginning of October 25 our weekend break was as usual absolutely fantastic we were over the moon with our accommodation, table in the restaurant the entertainment the food just everything was commendable, we feel once you arrive you are completely looked after, in fact my wife is at five lakes right now with her besty, we cannot wait until we will be returning in the new year hats off to every member of staff but Joseph in the entertainment is such an asset to Potters.

Great atmosphere. Everyone is super friendly from the receptionists, who make you feel welcome, to the waiters/waitresses, bar staff, entertainment team and everyone that you meet. Would definitely recommend.

Have been to Potters Resorts, Five Lakes and Hopton many times and have more visits already booked. Potters is just the most relaxing, entertaining, friendly short break you could possibly get. Various types of accommodation, all extremely comfortable with everything you could need and as much good quality and varied food and drinks you could possibly wish for. Nothing beats Potters for us.

We usually stay at the Potters Hopton resort, next to the sea, in a bungalow plus, we find them spacious and very comfortable.
The meal choices are great, three meals a day plus a midnight snack and a varied choice of both hot and cold, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks are on offer and the staff are fabulous, always smiling and very welcoming. The activities during the day cater for everyone - my husband prefers to sit in a quiet corner and read, no problem. I do the crafting and there is archery, karting, bowls, shooting, swimming, you name it! Everything is included in the price. The entertainment team are brilliant, with quizzes, games and acts during the day and then the evening shows, which are really excellent, different every evening of your three or four night stay, followed by late evening entertainment and even a midnight snack! There are payable beauty treatments, which are worth the cost, a hairdresser too. A relaxing or eventful break, you choose how you want to spend it an Potters will fulfil your dreams.

Would give it 10 stars if I could! From start to finish Potters make your break absolutely brilliant. The accommodation is spotless, comfortable and warm. The food is excellent. (That's if you can manage it all! 4 meals a day and all delicious!) All drinks included! The entertainment is is fabulous..West End quality. There is also so much to do you have a job fitting it all in. Must mention the hairdresser Caroline is brilliant too. Actually booked a break so I could have my hair done by her! 🤩

I was at five lakes recently. I have been quite a few times since it opened. It never disappoints. From entering and being welcomed at reception, the beautiful rooms, food in the Resturant outstanding, drinks in the bar. Activities to keep you entertained all day or sit and people watch.
But none of this be possible without the excellent potters team from Receptionist, help desk, bar staff and restaurant chefs and waitresses and waiters. The room maids ensuring your room is ready and waiting for you.
The Entertainers none stop entertaining us and helping us and of course the highlight each night of the magnificent westend standard shows with the singers, dancers, fun entertainment team, technical people lighting up, bringing the music to complete the evening. There are also many in the background that we don’t see. But without all these special people Potters would not be the Success it is. It would not be the place we all want to come back time after time. Thank you Potters Resorts for making this our happy place.

Great room and very good food.

Good service

Everything was inclusive and of excellent quality. Accomidation was excellent quality. Food excellent quality. Service was excellent as well. Entertainment was of a high standard and really good.

Had a lovely 4 days at this resort, food, staff, entertainment and activities great, bungalow ACC although near the main facilities for my Husbands sake, they were a little tired would have preferred a double instead of singles not much draw or hanging space and smelt a little musty, windows old too and no fridge, which was sorted next day via reception, a little more knowledge of complex and what the bungalows were like as we would have paid extra if we knew the difference as ours was a connecting one to the one behind and could hear all their noise! Would have liked one near swimming pool where our friends had been put had we known they would be spacious have a double and fridge and bigger hanging space.
