I've been with petdrugs for many years now and each phonecall I've made has been met with polite and helpful staff. Prices are very good compared to my vets charges and have saved me hundreds if not thousands over the past years. Delivery is spot on.

I'm not happy with how I received my purchase or how I was expected to jump through hoops in order to get a refund.
I placed an order on Amazon for a bag of Royal Canin Anallergenic dog food. The item was being sent by Pet Drugs Online as opposed to being despatched by Amazon, so I only received an estimated delivery date on the day I placed the order. I didn't receive any notification in the Amazon app or via email of the item being sent, that the item was on it's way, or that it was due to be delivered on a specific day. It was only on Wednesday that my partner discovered that it had been left by our side gate. There had been no knock at the door or ringing of the door bell, it had just been left.
The parcel was received with the outer packaging heavily taped up on one side, which was already a worrying sign. When I opened it some of the kibbles fell out onto my floor, and I could see straight away that the actual bag of dog food had been slashed open.
I contacted the seller (Pet Drugs Online) straight away to request a refund 1. Because I needed the food to come before our scheduled holiday and 2. Because I didn't want to chance having an issue with a replacement and not being able to sort it out in time before our holiday.
I also realised after I requested my refund, that in my Amazon app it said the item was delivered on Monday!! So this bag had been sat by the side gate for 2 days open to the rain and elements...Bearing in mind that's 2 days sat exposed outside once delivered, who knows how long it had been open when with the seller and or the delivery company?!!
Pet Drugs Online asked me to send pictures so that their warehouse could investigate. I provided a picture of where the parcel had been left, a pic of the outer packaging and one of the slashed dog food bag. The following day I received a reply from them advising that the best they could do for me, was for me to keep the spoilt food and to have a 50% refund!
Our dog has been through a lot. He scared us a few months ago when he was clearly in pain and was passing blood in his stools. We have spent hundreds of pounds to finally find out that he suffers from IBD, and to also find out specifically which foods he is allergic to.
This dog food is not cheap but we buy this specific food because of our dogs dietary needs.
This company clearly does not care about pets or providing good customer service! The bag of dog food was slashed open and that is not how I, a paying customer would expect to receive my purchase. The food could have been tampered with or it could just be spoilt due to it not being sealed, either way I am not risking giving it to our dog. I provided the pictures of how we received the item and whether the damage was caused at the sellers end or whether it was damaged in transit, is not and should not be the customers problem! For the seller to have the cheek to offer me just 50% of my money back is outrageous!
Thankfully Amazon's customer service has been brilliant and they have been extremely helpful in giving me a full refund which I'm really appreciative of. As I really didn't want to have a back and forth communication that I could see was starting to happen with this company. I've already received my order of this dog food from Pets at home even though it was slightly more expensive than what I paid to get it from Pet Drugs Online, it's better not to take the risk and just stick to who you know are reputable when it comes to certain products. I definitely won't be buying from this company again!

I did order order with them a week ago. First they said I did order capsules and the prescription requested tablets so they put it on hold. Two days later they call me to get more payment as tablets are more expensive than capsules. Then when I thought everything was fine and they would send it, they email me, three days later to say that what I did order, and PAID was too much and they didn’t sell that amount. So why they let me pay for it? Why they did call me to get more money over it, if they couldn’t sell this amount? Just delayed me so much and now I’m out of medicine and need to place the order somewhere else. Horrible service. Horrible customer service. Stay far from them. They are very confused and they don’t deliver.

Over the past six months I have had 8 telephone calls with this company to order 1 set of refill prescriptions. I forgive 1,2, or even 3 manifestations of incompetence but this group operates in a world of its own. They are not mean, but they are young, untrained, and lack procedures (as far as I can tell) to fix things when mistakes have been made. In summary, they got the prescription dose wrong, they emailed confirmation of a year old prescription, they failed to ship an overdue prescription (my dog had no meds) because they had put the wrong dates in the calendar, they confused the vet’s prescription etc. etc.
I did learn though that one very nice young lady is a barmaid and she was “very tired” from the workload. Another was a trainee therefore could not be of help and no, a supervisor or manager was. or available.
The unpleasant fact is that moving a prescription from one vendor to the next is not an undertaking for the faint of heart. Whether it is your baggage while travelling or your dog’s internet prescriptions, some things in life must be entrusted to others outside off your control. You hope they will fulfill their brief and be competent. Sadly that is not the case here. I would strongly caution against investing (your time) with this company unless you have a very high threshold for gormlessness and your dog or cat has a long time before the next prescription is due for a refill. Once in it is hard to get out.
