Bought a car about a month ago
It's been back in 4 times now with things that are wrong with it that they'd promised they'd fit
Something was corroded underneath, there's a faulty light sensor, the rear windscreen wiper wasn't working.
After 3 visits they fixed the wiper but I took it in again today as I'm still getting rear light errors. They couldn't find out why and sent me away.
This is terrible why are you selling faulty cars, its a second hand car but it was a really expensive car the most expensive car I've ever owned I thought it would be fully working from a big garage like this.
It's not just the inconvenience of having to go a day without a car several times, but relying on family to give me lifts back and through again every time and asking people to take me to work.
You guys are crap

Mg Perry's Preston
We recently bought an MG ZS from Perry`s Preston, we were greeted by the sales manager who introduced us to Alex who was brilliant, he was so polite and cheerful he made us feel at home. He talked us through the procedure and then took me for a test drive, he was so helpful and answered any questions I had to ask and he didn't try forcing us to buy anything we didn't want to. All in all I would definitely recommend to family and friends thank you Alex.

A lucky escape
Saw a used vehicle online at their Nelson branch and made an enquiry and had a quick response, an appointment was generated for a test drive and a valuation of my vehicle for px ,trade plates where provided and I was given the keys ,got in drove ten feet and the vehicle broke down with the engine light on and a message say do not drive take for repair , walked back in told salesman who said its been through the workshop don't know what happened there ,looked for similar vehicles but none available, keys given back and an overall warm experience of zero

Ignorant Service (sales prevention) Manager
When I checked my car in for an investigation/ suspension issue, the Service Manager who booked me in was totally ignorant; no please, thank you or how are you. I could go on further. In addition the courtesy car I’d been promised because of my size and mobility issues was not available (not charged up) and I was told they had another one ready and this was outside in the car parking area. Turns out the ‘family hatch back’ size I was told had been organised and couldn’t find was actually a Mazda 2. When I pointed this out to the Service Manager he told me that he’d got similar issues to me (arthritis in knees/ hips) and that he’d no trouble getting in and out of this small vehicle. I pointed out that he was not me and that a Mazda 2 was of no use to me. He then responded that this was the only one he’d got and that was it. He stood there with his hands on his hips in silence. I walked inside and one of the service booking people asked me to sit down and he’d find out how long my vehicle was likely to be. After a short time I was told that they’d discovered the fault and that the part would be with them the following morning. The courteous member of staff then informed me that they had an MG HS which I could use in the meantime. All good.
Your Service Manager was the best ‘sales prevention’ person I’ve come across in a long time. His disposition was one of an arrogant, ignorant, slovenly and stinky individual (his breath was terrible) who just could not be bothered.
Thing is, I was due/ wanted to change my car, which I have now done. I’ve bought a brand new Omoda 7 from Invicta Motors who’s showroom/ premises were extremely busy and had a number of enthusiastic and polite staff to deal with customers new and existing - and put your service manager to shame.
I bought my Mazda 6 from you c8 years ago (new) and had a full service history with yourselves. I expected better from a main dealer so I’m not sure what has gone wrong.

Smooth Transaction
Just bought a new car from Perry’s. It was easy to order the car from another town and have it driven to Barnsley. Overall the transaction was smooth and Ryan was helpful and professional. I’m pleased and grateful that I could have parking sensors fitted before collection.
The one thing I found difficult was the hard sell of other products and services, and still having them pushed although I clearly wasn’t interested.

We are very pleased with our purchase. The sales person Tia was very helpful engaged knowledgable and excelled in communication. The sales manager Mark was found to be un approachable poor negative communication skills with dis appointing customer care delivery.
This has deterred us from returning to Perrys which is a great shame.
