Took my vehicle in for a service and on collection i was told front and rear brakes have been changed, a week later a brake wear warning light comes up on the dash soi ring them and ask if i can pop in and have it looked at. was told they would need it for a day to carry out a diagnostic. i had no brake issues with the vehicle before. will not be going back!

After buying two new cars over year bought a second hand 2022 ford fiesta from perrys dover had issues with the stereo which isn't covered in the £750 extended warranty never use perrys again

Do not use Perry’s (Kia) Burnley, I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing from this dealership to think very carefully, if I could give it 0 stars I would.

When buying the car, the dealership couldn’t do enough for me. I explained I urgently needed a vehicle because my clutch had gone, and I was told everything would move quickly. After exchanging my car Kieran even advised me to un-tax and un-insure my current car that same evening because I’d supposedly have my new car within 5–10 days.

I was shown a vehicle on the forecourt and told they would try to get me into that exact car by Friday. Five days later, I emailed asking for the registration so I could sort insurance, only to be told not to worry because it would come with insurance. Then, out of nowhere, I was contacted asking if any family members owned a Kia so they could “knock £500 off” and get me into the showroom model instead, all my family have Kia’s so I provided this, i never heard anything about this again.

After that, communication became almost non-existent.

On day 10, I finally received a phone call saying they could no longer get the car in black or grey only orange, despite us previously agreeing the orange didn’t look right. I was then repeatedly pushed towards completely different vehicles I had already said I didn’t want, including cars outside my budget and on lease agreements I had no interest in.
At one point I was told to come in for a test drive, only to later discover the car wasn’t even on site. I was then promised someone would bring a car to my workplace to view because I had no transport and was currently staying at work due to being without a vehicle. That never happened either.

After nearly two weeks without a car, my father requested a courtesy vehicle. Kieran even offered his own personal car, which shows he clearly understood how serious the situation had become. Yet despite repeated promises, no courtesy car ever materialised.

Instead, I was eventually told by management to collect my broken car and continue driving it uninsured and untaxed for another three months despite being the ones who originally advised me to remove the tax and insurance. When I asked whether they would put their own children in that vehicle, the answer was “no.”

Communication throughout this entire process was appalling. Calls were not returned, emails ignored, and managers were either “on holiday,” “in meetings,” or apparently unavailable for days at a time. I repeatedly had to chase for even the smallest update.

The final conversation with Oliver, the store manager, was completely unacceptable, after sending him an email on the Monday like Chris his colleague told me he had asked me to do and receiving no response by Friday, I rang and asked to speak to him . Rather than apologising or attempting to resolve the situation, I was met with excuses, defensiveness, and comments suggesting it was “quite common” for customers not to receive responses for up to two weeks. As someone who works in management myself, I found that astonishing.

After 21 days of stress, being left without reliable transport, struggling to get to work, care for my children, and attend important meetings, I finally asked for my own car to simply be returned.
Ironically, that was the quickest response I received during the entire ordeal.

The lack of communication, broken promises, dismissive attitude, and complete disregard for customer care has been shocking from start to finish. I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing from this dealership to think very carefully.

From start to finsh the service provided was excellent. We viewed the car on the Saturday afternoon and found the lady (I think her name was Elisha} very helpful and let us start the car but couldn't let us have a test drive then but said to ring on the Monday morning to arrange one, which we did and the Sales person called Hamlyn George set everything up from there. He was extremely pleasant and genuinely helpful and took out the car for a test drive with us. We were very pleased with it and decided to buy it, and Hamlyn took us through the Sales process and made us feel very comfortable with it. The car was made ready for us to collect on Wednesday and again Hamlyn ensured everything was dealt with in a very thorough and professional way which made the process so easy. We are very pleased with car and would recommend this Dealership to anyone wishing to buy or part exchange their vehicle, excellent service throughout.

After a shocking experience from Hpl in Oldham, Michael has really looked after me. I love the car. His work ethic is exceptional as was Craigs (and the manager, unfortunately I can't remember his name🙈). They were all so helpful and made my experience so easy. I would definitely recommend getting a car from here (and definitely not HPL).. Thank you all.

Kim is a wonderful member of staff. She welcomed us, answered our questions, treated us like friends and we felt completely at ease and felt we could ask anything we wanted. Kim was just as great when we went back to collect our car. We wouldn't hesitate to go back to her again. She is a real asset to Perry's.

I had a great experience when purchasing a VW Tiguan. I also traded in my car and received a fair price in doing so. Emilio my sales assistant was great at keeping my up to date and helping with any questions I had all by phone. When collecting the car he made everything run smoothly and the aftercare I have received from him has also been a great positive. Would definitely recommend Emilio and Perrys to anyone looking for a great new or used car.

There was no pushy selling. The guy that dealt with us was lovely. He was clear and transparent with us throughout the whole process and we thank him for that

Bought a 2023 plate peugeot partner , delivered on 13th may reported concerns with the van, scratches around the van but was told thats to be expected as its a van which is coming up 3 years old, was told try using T-cut.
Went through the paperwork and it had not had its major service when it should have, and still not had one only had 1 stamp in the book and just over 30,000 with no service,but apparantly thats no concern and acceptable, as perrys had no intentions of resolving the issues only with a £200 good will which wouldnt go anywhere to have scratches repaired, i informed perrys that the goods were not as described and the van can be collected as i refused it. Poor aftersales be carefull watch out for the pictures they have on the vehicles as they are AI generated

Going into a dealership alone is not something I like doing as a woman. But I got a proper Barnsley welcome and it was all great. I bought the car and Andy came in on his day off when I picked it up.

Perrys Nelson was superb from start to finish.
We purchased a used car in their lowest price range but they still treated us as if we were the most valued customer by giving us the time we needed to make our decision. It was an important purchase for us and we had lots of questions. These were answered promptly and honestly . There was no pressure to buy but we are so pleased we did. The car we bought is ideal and suited our purpose and so far has exceeded our expectations I cannot thank Alex enough for the efficient and pleasant service. The colleagues we dealt with were of equal calibre.

Bought a used car from Perrys Huddersfield with just over 2k miles on the clock. The car was looked over and paid for but when we sat in the car, to drive away, we noticed that there were marks on the roof liner. We were assured by the salesman that this would be rectified by a valet or a replacement roof liner. The car was valeted twice which made no difference to the marks. We then expected the liner to be replaced but upon chasing management, for a timescale for the repair, we were informed that they had no intention of changing the liner and had never promised this, which wasn't true. It took months of stress and arguments before the liner was changed. The sales room manager and the service manager both aggressively shouted at me on more than one occasion because of a miscommunication between themselves. In the end the liner was changed because the salesman provided a written statement that he had promised to rectify the problem. I would never buy from this company again and have warned people to not buy from Huddersfield. Please do not give your money to this company. Customer service is appalling
