I contacted another branch twice and heard nothing back. This branch got back to me the same day and within 2 weeks, I had had a test drive and bought the car.

bought a new sound puma. could not really say i’m happy with perry’s £149 admin fee?! i asked for it to be deducted as an incentive. but a blatant NO was given. no freebies at all. 🤔 other dealers doing FREE servicing, but non had this particular model 😉🙄 so i carried on.

I'm disappointed to say that Perrys has…
I'm disappointed to say that Perrys has been more trouble than it's worth. I purchased a Focus Vignale less than 2 years ago. Issue straight away, misdiagnosed by their mechanics but eventually sorted after complaining (also covered under 2 year guarantee). Months later, another issue with the rear driver side break. Again misdiagnosed, wrong part replaced, issue still present, required part not available anywhere. Months later still waiting for an update. The staff are more than friendly and understanding but anyone on the phone never call you back when promised, emails are ignored/not responded to, complaints are not acknowledged. You're better off knowing someone by name and emailing them but eventually the same happens.
I've paid for a premium car to receive terrible service from Perrys, shortage of parts, misdiagnosing and my near £900 extended guarantee barely covers anything.
I'm left disappointed and would not recommend Perrys. Specifically Mansfield branch.

DO NOT DO IT, LIFE IS TO SHORT TO BE THIS STRESSED
Bought a used car from Perrys Broadstairs, in February. That was the biggest mistake of my life. Within the first 30days the car was back with them 3 times for different issues. The biggest issue was intermittent and took till June to fix via Kia. Well it was supposedly fixed as within days of the car returning it was still happening and they had the cheek to return the car with a broken handbrake switch which is illegal!!! We basically have not seen the car for more the 5days in the last 4months. The garage is an absolute joke. Communication has been none existent. We have sent formal complaints multiple times and all have been ignored. We have had to resort in reporting them to trading standards as they will not give us our money back. We have also reported to motor ombudsman who have taken on our case. I’m sure I will get a reply from this, saying we will look into this, to make themselves look better. Well I can tell you this. THEY DONT CARE. If they cared, this would have been resolved months ago. Please think twice before stepping through a Perrys garage door as they will make your life hell. Never been so stressed in my life!!

Went there today and looked at a car approached the salesman and he told me he does not sell used and it's upstairs then waited 10 mins for a salesman who then presented me with an invoice almost 1500 pounds above the court price honestly I am never coming back to me they signify what's worst with car dealership and salesperson ship.

Absolutely poor service
Absolutely poor service! I discovered my Ford has recalls, booked it in with Perry's Aylesbury for 26th May 2026 as a while you wait appointment, since I was told it shouldn't take more than an hour! I even checked in the branch the week before just to be certain. Took the car in on 26th May and just before handover I was told it would be at least 4 hours! I was re-booked for 8th July 2026 with the promise of a courtesy vehicle. I arrived, handed over everything that had been requested (driving licence & car key) to be told they didn't have a courtesy vehicle for me as the one they reserved hadn't been bought back the day before!!! I had reminders sent to me via text telling me of my appointment and courtesy vehicle, yet not once was I contacted prior to inform me of this issue! Safe to say, my car wasn't handed over and I will never be returning to Perry's again after this! Despite his efforts, which were too little too late, the assistant on the desk seemed quite surprised when I picked up my things and told him not to bother re-booking! I now have to find another company to complete to recall work, and after Perry's have wasted my time twice in relation to this, they refuse the cover the costs I may incurred as a direct result of their incompetency!
Important to note, this is not my 1st negative experience with Perry's, but I won't ever give them the opportunity to waste my time again!

Despite numerous promises to call me back there is absolutely no response.
Terrible customer support - they already have my money so why should they bother if I want something ?
The reply I got to this post suggests the business model is to take action if someone complains on social media..... otherwise expect inferior service.

Excellent experience
I was very satisfied with with my experience at Perrys Vauxhall Barnsley when buying a used car. Kim looked after us from start to finish. She was great, very friendly, knowledgable and didn't push us into anything, which I really liked as I hate that about buying a car. She was excellent, I would definitely recommend Perry's if you are wanting to buy a used or new car. Thank you Kim, I love my new car. :-)
