What an absolutely Shyster company Perrys Vauxhall Bury is. We only bought the vehicle because of the excellent Andrew Young, a brilliant and honest salesman there but sadly passed just before we picked the car up from them. Things went downhill very quickly there. Long story short, car was off from the get go - went back 6 times for same issue which was never fixed and servicing didn't want to know- complained to and told by Vauxhall HO to book in for a week for parts to be swapped but 12 weeks later - no response. Car eventually cancelled (8 months old) and complaint raised to MD Darren Adron who praised Andrew and thanked me for my email which was "not good to read". Avoid Perrys, avoid Vauxhall, avoid Stallantis and go for a proper brand which cares about it's customers!

UPDATE: There is no point writing a generic response to ask me to reach out - you're not bothered - your MD is not bothered! AVOID!!!

My Vauxhall Crossland would not start called RAC their tests showed it was the ECU which was still under warranty they towed it to Perry's in Barnsley they confirmed it was the ECU and ordered one it took two weeks to repair the problem was they would not give me a courtesy car, as mine was a Motability car they organised a car for me but as it was a fault of Vauxhall it should have been at Vauxhall's expense. when you read the Perry's reviews it shows that nearly all 5* reviews are for the sales department nearly all the 1* reviews are for the service department.
Conclusion :- buy your new car from Perry's then get it serviced somewhere else

I have had Two experiences with Perrys with vastly different levels of Satisfaction.
The First was with Perrys Bury which I found extremely Frustrating due to the Fact that the sales manager, Jonathan never sent an email confirming that my £1000 refund was being processed even though I requested it verbally and by email. (extremely anxious due to the lack of clarification) The refund was due to the fact that I was given the incorrect value for the Tax on the Car that I was due to purchase. (genuine mistake made due to new government guidelines)
Unfortunately I was unable to deal with the Original Sales person Phil who was the opposite of the Manager being Friendly, Caring and sympathetic. (he was on holiday)
Extremely poor customer service.
I then decided to purchase adifferent car from Perrys Nelson which was a Totally different experience. Alex, the Sales person dealing with the Transaction was excellent, being Very Friendly,helpful and knowledgable in fact I would of given 5* for the service I received except for the sales manager who I felt was slightly mean.
In spite of this I would still recommend Perrys Nelson if you are looking to Purchase a Car.

Avoid like the plague crap customer service wouldn't budge on ticket price literally wanted £400 or less on an 18k car 2 people complaining whilst I was there one lady had a wet belt change on a van and it blew up 4 hours later with the kids in.... AVOID

Initially, a fairly positive buying experience, however once I drove away with the new car, the after care was non-existent. It took weeks for my car to be booked in for a few issues identified in the first few days of driving the car. Then extremely rude and ignorant staff on the service desk, blaming myself for an issue, yet when it was investigated, it was a slow puncture like I'd pointed out. They let me drive on holiday with my daughter with this known problem and really did not care about our safety. Then, when they finally did repair the puncture after having complete flat tyre, Perrys damaged my alloy and handed the car back to me! I have a boot opening issue, which hasn't been resolved with 3 separate attempts. I'm looking at rejecting the car due to the ongoing problem but the dealer says they have got to 'witness the issue happening' themselves, even though I've sent lots of pictures and videos of the issue!

The car I was interested in was brought to me for a test drive and Ewan answered any questions I had easily and the whole procedure was straightforward. Everything was conducted in a helpful and friendly way and I would definitely use Perrys again.

Paul was brilliant when selling the car to us he took the time to explain everything about the car and took us on a test drive and showed me how to connect my iphone to the entertainment system. Ravi was also brilliant when we collected the car ensuring everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. He even set the sat nav up to get us home!! Thank you very much both of you!

Service can be very slow. Car dropped in Monday it’s now Thursday hasn’t even looked at it yet. Needs an eoly additive added…. Not a big job.

Harrison Doner, new salesman. I Was viewing cars on forecourt, Harrison approached, very helpful eager to assist. Went for test drive, ran out of petrol, Harrison sorted the issue and we returned back to store, he was professional and polite, but also more upset at what had happened he had only been in the job 3 weeks. Only his second sale. Some may say this incident was inappropriate but everyone has to learn. I wish you Good luck for your future Harrison, I really hope you progress in the business. And yes I bought the car.
P.s. check fuel before setting off.

We took our Peugeot to the Aylesbury Peugeot dealership for a camshaft safety recall. During the process, a further issue involving the steering rack was identified, and we were subsequently told that we would have to pay over £2,000 for the replacement.

What concerns us most is that we collected the vehicle and drove it home with a child on board, without being made adequately aware that there was a safety-related issue requiring further action.

We consider this a very serious matter. We are deeply concerned about the potential safety risk to our family and disappointed with how this situation was handled.

The experience I had with Perry's at Whitfield, Dover was excellent. The sales rep Hector was brilliant and explained everything to me from start to finish. Also the Service Dept was exactly the same polite at all times and explained everything to me in relation to the additional warranty I took out and the service plan.

The after sale are rushed there all nice until you have got your vehicle i had a recall on my car so asked if they bing me home after I dropped it off they no I for a courtesy car told me I would have to wait a month after omoda headquarters told me I could not drive on the motorway so I went today and waited for it he drove around for it to be inspected so went around and watch him he didn't even inspected went back in some little man come start shouting at me if you think that's the way to treat disabled customers i would never get car from PERRY NELSON please avoid this company MR WILSON

The sales guy I dealt with was brilliant and not pushy.

Took my car in for a software update. Received back same day with warning lights on the dashboard. Took it back and told it's got 3 sensor faults, but it's just a coincidence that they all happened while in their care, and would I like a quote for repairs.

2nd time of dealing with Paul C at Aylesbury. A very friendly, knowledgeable guy who goes above and beyond. We were kept upto date with the build and delivery schedules. Great service

The staff are amazing very friendly and very welcoming especially Steve and belle at Canterbury Mazda they made me feel very welcome helped me pick the right car for me and my family and I highly recommend them thank you so much guys ☺️

Incredibly poor experience from here. Took 2 weeks to hear back from them and another 2 weeks following a arranged pick up time and the car has scratches all over.

Perrys Barnsley, went up to look at a car on a Tuesday, I was told it was up on ramps getting things ready. I told salesman I had my own finances and didn't want thire warranty etc. He said he wasn't in Wednesday so he would ring first thing Thursday. I put reserve deposit down as it was still for sale.I rang up I was told it was sold. Absolute rubbish it was sold to someone who wanted Perrys finance and all extras they pile on. Terrible service I bought a car from Pentagon St Helens, customer service fantastic, 15 month warranty, tank of petrol, met at train station with train fare paid. Perrys learn from them.

Got what i thought was a fair price for my trade in car and negotiated a final price for my pre registered Kia Sportage with Gabriella Thomson. Gabriella dealt with the sale in professional manner and answered all the questions i asked to my satisfaction.

My Peugeot had 2 faults. An airbag fault and a sunroof fault. I telephoned Perry's at Rotherham and a service receptionist told me that it would cost £168 an hour to have the car diagnostic plugged in. I took the car there for diagnosis and the service receptionist told me that to have the car diagnosed would cost £168 PER FAULT. Namely £336.
Just to have the faults diagnosed.
