Try to bully you into paying your parking invoice

You’re forced to use this company’s awful website to pay for parking — there’s no other option. It’s so badly designed it feels deliberate, as if they profit more from fines than from actual parking fees. The process is slow, confusing, and frustrating. Most people probably give up, go home thinking they’ll pay later, and end up fined for their trouble.

It happened to me once, so now I literally set an alarm to remind myself to pay. That’s how bad it is. Whoever chose this company to run parking at Crickley Hill Country Park clearly didn’t care about visitors’ experience. This setup feels like a trap, not a service.

If the company had any sense of irony, it would rename itself to something that actually reflects what it puts people through.

Professional competence?
Jackfield. Just one payment machine, offering card payments only, but rejecting a range of cards. Customers invited to tick terms and conditions above might reasonably expect those terms and conditions to be above and not below. Time wasted. The Ironbridge Gorge deserves better!

Incompetent and poorly run. I have been receiving letters which have escalated in threats, despite having paid the fine. I've had an email back from the company saying I've paid, but I'm still getting legal threats and now the fine has doubled. Absolute unprofessional incompetence.

Park With Ease appears more focused on revenue generation than fair and transparent enforcement. There is a lack of reasonable consideration for professional drivers, signage is insufficient, and the appeals process lacks transparency and accountability.

I used to go to Attenborough nature Reserve regular I spent money in the Reserve shop and Cafe, I am now disabled and decided to revisit there parked in the Disabled bays with my Badge on full view paid £4each for 4 small mince and onion pies , £3:50 for 1 small scoop of ice cream for my grandson, 4 days later a parking fine of £35 pounds, I will never ever return the whole experience ruined, I am all for making money but extortionist is not some thing I would associate Sir David with. Better signage would of been very Helpful

Awful company, the machine was not working but have been fined anyway.

Horrific place ran by Horrific people.

Planned on paying for the whole day .Lost wallet so had no payment method so left the place within 20 mins. Appealed, no chance!

I would strongly advise land owners and local authorities to avoid this company. Their machines do not work, their signage is misleading, they delay sending out PCNs, which increases the high penalties, and their appeals process is ineffective, often defaulting to the IAS, wasting everyone's time and money. This country needs fewer of these types of inconsequential, incompetent and worthless companies.

Absolute scam, got a ticket that I shouldn't have, tried to appeal and they wouldn't open a appeal. Now will not give me a conclusion on the appeal for me to take it independently

These people are just bullies and then sell your details on to empira who again are worse than useless son with severe learning disabilities didn't understand if he had to pay for blue badge as some gravel pit carparks are free for the disabled so son stayed for 10 mins wondering if he had to pay the 3.50 parking charge as the signs are not very clear so I sent empira an email they told me to send proof that my son has severe learning disabilities and proof of blue badge so I did that was back in 2024 didn't here anything off them then the 25th July 25 he recieves a threatening letter saying if he don't pay the £260 they will take him to court really is this fair after nearly a year of not hearing anything from them it's just a money making for these big greedy companies the name of the company park with ease is a joke there's no ease parking with these muppets

Attenborough Nature Reserve. Fine received £35 for 24 minutes over, although I am certain I paid online, not registered and not on card statement.
Was with my dad who is 94 and has a blue badge. Decided to pay, had already gone up to £60 so no 14 days. Appealed, several very curt responses. Decided to pay, went online, gone up to 120 and again I was not informed of this prior to it happening. It went up on 20 th July and the letter saying it would go up was recieved on 26 th July. Despite several email exchanges with Park with Ease no mention was ever made that the fine would go up again. I will never use a park with ease car park again . I offered to pay 35, Park with Ease refused, I went online to pay 60, it had gone up . I offered to pay 60, park with Ease refused. Their mission statement says ‘to eradicate parking fines’!!!!

I used their car park at Cartmel racecourse. Both of the payment machines were inoperative, which meant I couldn't buy a parking ticket. For one machine not to work is unfortunate. For both not to work is careless. As I couldn't pay I didn't. As I didn't pay I got a fine. Their incompetence in maintaining their machines increases their income stream. A Business model that Thames water would be proud of. Our car is a lease car, which meant that the Fine notice was initially sent to the Lease company who forwarded it on to us. The time delay meant that we were outside thew appeal period once we received the notice. Customer services were unwilling to accept any mitigation to allow a late appeal. As any number of previous reviews will indicate, Park with ease are not a reputable company.

We went to Uplands Cartmel Hotel and did a stop over in our camper van on their property. we drove down to cartmel to find a toilet as the hotel was shut when we left. We were told by someone in the village that the racecourse had a toilet and it was free. We went there and my husband (who is disabled) used the toilet and we left after 5 - 10 minutes. It seemed to be a "free parking" area. We did however put his disability badges in the window. he has, what you could refer to as, a bladder problem, he is 72 years old. This morning, I received an invoice from Park with ease (and clearly it isnt easy to park) and they want £35. i am challenging this as if they check the cctv, they will see we were there for a matter of minutes. It wouldn't have been practical to trail around for hours trying to find a loo for my husband. I will see what they come back with, but £35 for 5 - 10 minutes is excessive in anyones book.

I received the following from Park with ease: Definitely scammers, we were there for under an hour, and it was £1 for an hour. They didnt consider my appeal, as the same girl who answered my first email did the "cut and paste" job, that she sends to everyone. We were not there on a race day and it shows that they have no compassion for elderly people, its just money, money, money. Besides working in law, I run my own radio show and Park with Ease will be getting their own slot. If you want to contribute your thoughts on this company, please contact me...I paid the invoice because I will not stoop to their level. Won't be visiting Cartmel again for any reason. The signage on site clearly states that charges are in place 24 hours a day on all days and apply to all vehicles including blue badge holders. There are 5 signs on this site, including 1 on the entry, 1 on the exit and one by the kiosk. Our signage has been audited by The IPC our Accredited Trade Association and is fully compliant.
Since you failed to pay for the parking that was due at the time or up to 48 hours following your departure and were over the advertised grace period the parking charge notice has been issued correctly.

Park With Ease is a rubbish company, I had so much trouble with the parking meter. the machine told me to use another card which I did. I left the car park without a receipt and not knowing whether I had paid or not. When I got home I logged into their site and I found three receipts all for £4.00 but my bank account shows I have paid £4.00 twice. The stupid thing is the receipts all show my arrival time as 14.07 and my leaving time as 14.07. I have sent Park With Ease several emails but they have been ignored. Why on earth do organisations use these morons to operate their car parks, they must surely know they are c**p.

Incorrectly charged. The invalid invoice went to my car lease company. I told the car park owner immediately upon being notified by my lease company. The owner in turn confirmed it had been cancelled with Park with Ease. Meanwhile, Park with Ease had passed the incorrect charge onto Empira. However, 3 working days after the incorrect charge has been cancelled Empira website still shows the debt as outstanding. Empira are naturally chancer shysters but it is PWE who incorrectly shared my details. Basically PWE make up charges and use that as an excuse to sell your details.

Parked at Cartmel racecourse. I went to the machine to pay, it instructed to pay on return before leaving the carpark.

I did as instructed and having entered my registration number it said no fee was due. Imagine my surprise when I received a parking charge this morning. I have appealed the charge, lets see what happens!

Update on this. I e mailed an appeal with the information above. I got a quick response which recognized I had overstayed a grace period by 3 minutes and I was simply asked to pay a £1 parking charge. So whilst there was some unnecessary stress, they were quick to resolve it in a fair way.

I received a letter backdated demanding payment after the deadline for the reduced fee of £35 had elapsed. Terrible company. No option to pay by post. Before I have had time to appeal the £70 they have already increased it to £130. Insufficient signage and car park connected to another car park with a different car park company so it was an easy mistake to make.

They don’t deserve one star. Horrible, company with no customer service. I parked at their car park at Trinity street, Dorchester and realised I hadn’t paid the following day. I tried so hard to pay, not realising it had changed hands and you now pay on departure. I had all the evidence, (phonecalls and emails) and their ‘customer service’ (no phone) just sent cold responses from their emails, they wouldn’t do anything…despite the obvious error!! Checked their website for the details and found I actually had two parking tickets and had to pay for both at the same time, even though I hadn’t even received the ticket/evidence yet for the other one, they have no facility to pay for one at a time…surely this is illegal. Awful, scamming company, all about making money not caring about their customers. The car park seems to be empty compared to how it used to be, good, I hope they make no revenue and the landowner kicks them out. I certainly won’t be using it again, with half of Dorchester so it would seem. Use the one next to it, by the toilets, still owned by the Council and so empathetic about the whole situation. Also, I received the first ticket with only 2 days left to qualify for the reduced pay within 14 days option…scammers, surely Royal Mail isn’t that bad and take 12 days to deliver a letter!! No stars whatsoever as far as I’m concerned.
