I had a quick online chat with Abi C who was very helpful and quickly responded to my enquiry and request, pointing me to the correct area I required on the Parasol website. Many thanks for your help Abi.

Jen was very helpful, provided great advice and really put my mind at rest when dealing with my query. She was also very good at following up after the initial phone call to ensure everything was sorted out properly. Thanks Jen.

I have to write this to warn others as they have been incompetent so many times with me. They are rubbish with organising contracts...never actually respond to me to let me know things are underway. The worst thing they did was accept a job, let me work the whole thing and then once I billed they pulled the contract saying it wasn't done right. I had to beg the client to accept their terms just so I could get paid. The consistent bad service is truly remarkable and disappointing.
EDIT: It is amazing and very fitting that I get a response here while I am still actively trying to get my contract sorted that is meant to start in the morning. Absolutely no urgency for me but when the general public can see, it is suddenly worth your time. Last update from the client was that the agreement wasn’t actually attached…so basic protocols are not being followed. Embarrassing is the word that comes to mind with Parasol.

I have always worked with Parasol from an agency perspective. However I have now had the pleasure of experiencing their service from a contractors point of view for the first time and must say from the very first enquiry to the final acceptance of the contract, the onboarding has been a very smooth process. I’m sure if the ongoing support is as strong it will be a good working partnership.

Today I spoke to Hollie. I made a complaint regarding expense claims. After a lengthy conversation I understood where a mistake had been made.

Parasol then went the extra mile (which they didn’t need too) sorted out my mistake and corrected my expenses so I could be reimbursed.

This support helps not only with my reimbursement but also my understanding of reclaiming in different ways.

Excellent support today from Alison who helped me understand the pay cycles and tax implications of my current set up. Advised me on what I needed to do and provided details of the number to call HMRC to recommend a tax code change. Really appreciated the support and guidance from Alison, the second time she has helped me with clear guidance. Thoroughly recommend. !!

Setting up for contracts with Parasol is super easy and takes a lot of heavy lifting and admin off your hands. Their platform is intuitive and very easy to use, I was helped by Prabhjot Kaur who was really clear in their communication, super helpful!

Lorraine Tench in the Pensions Dept has been excellent.Patient,diligent,clear and effective.She is highly recommended and a real credit to the organistaion.
