Delicious and arrived hot

Ordered pizzas. They arrived 40 mins late and cold. Repeatedly rang them to try and get them to sort but they either didn’t answer the phone or picked it up and immediately hung up. Had to feed it to the starving kids as no response for hours. Made a complaint and was told that since we ate the pizza (so my children didn’t starve waiting hours for them to answer) that they couldn’t refund me.

We ordered the double pepperoni and some sides. The order was late, the pizza was very dry and cold and so were the sides. The delivery app said it was late but didn’t give me any options to rectify this.

We ordered a Garden Party pizza but it had almost no toppings. We had ordered extra mushrooms but the whole pizza had about five tiny pieces of mushrooms and about five tiny slivers of green pepper. We felt like we were eating mainly dough. Very poor value for money

This company deserves to go out of business. I ordered two pizzas tonight, and they were never delivered. When I called the store, the man I spoke to said "they were on the way", and then quickly hung up on me. This is the second time this has happened to me with the Purley branch. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I'm not a complainer by nature. I am just a hungry and now angry individual who just wants what I paid for. They need a grown up adult in charge, but I am not going to wait for that to happen. I would recommend Pizza Express - its much better quality and service, plus if you order something from PE, they actually deliver a pizza to you !

Time wasters. App sucks, no flexibility, unintuitive. After all the messing around for 15 minutes struggling to calibrate an order for the family they change something in the app so it won't let me pay. I reset the app cache so basket is empty again, go through process of replacing order and then go to basket to be told they aren't taking orders before closing now 9:30pm on a weekend, even when it says they close at 10pm. So yeah complete waste of time, the family is hungry and now I have to go finding somewhere else over half an hour after starting this process.

Consistently mean with toppings, hard to find the cheese/little of it. Very poor value for money even at almost half price offers, ie £14 or so for large pizza.. Will be buying pizza bases from now on and doing my own toppings. Use concentrated tomatoe paste in a tube for a base start. Or I will buy economy pizzas from maybe aldi, adding extra toppings if required.

Tried the new ballymena store and everything has been so nice, the only thing is I had 1 piece of tandoori chicken on each slice of my pizza ! There should definitely be more please and thanks 🙏

My food wasn’t delivered and for some reason they won’t refund the money. I’ve never interacted with such a cowboy company that runs restaurants across the country. Obviously something has gone wrong with their leadership.

Waited over an hour and 20 minutes for it to turn up not even hot.

5 Star Service every time I visit the pizza is perfect and the customer service is outstanding. I never normally leave reviews but the kind man and lady who work there really make you feel welcome and my request is always remembered. Most honest guy even gave me my £5 which was nice as i had forgot to collect my pizza. I am regular customer and cannot fault them. Well done keep up the good service.

Awful. The only way to describe it. 1 hour and 32 minutes for delivery of a pizza less than 4 miles away. Rang the store on 3 or 4 occasions to enquire when the delivery was due. It's on its way was the response. Simple order of 1 pizza arrived 1 and half hours later. Asked if I could speak to the manager, Asif, but told he is not there. Call back tomorrow or Monday. Spoke to Ali to try and cancel the order and get a refund. He was unable to do, and told me to call back to speak to the manager. Never ever again. I should have looked at some of the other reviews. They say the same, NEVER AGAIN!

The pizza was delicious. Did Collection and it was piping hot when we got there ready on time. Service was great...v friendly and offered us free garlic bread .newton abbot branch. Did half / half for the kids ..thank you

it’s disgusting i’ve been waiting over an hour to get my food still haven’t got it. i’ve called they are so disrespectful not helping at all. Don’t come here.

Deliver by UBER. Stop using them! Ordered driver drove 20 mins the opposite direction to deliver another order first. My order had been out of the shop for 45 mins before it got to me. Stone cold and inedible.

The only pizza place I use. I order straight from their website, which saves me money. Generally I order two large pizzas, with cheesy crust, and two sides. With delivery costs me £35. The best dough and it's always warm. For two people it's 3 meals. About £5.8/meal. When I heat it up next day, it's still soft and fresh, not dry at all.

They don't tell you this, but they outsource to Uber.
My food was stolen by uber and never turned up. They said this is a frequent issue.
After 90 mins the store person delivered my food personally.
So you will get food, but I seriously hope you aren't hungry or in any kind of rush.

It's probably fine for takeout, but don't get delivery from Papa Johns.

I recently got four thin crust pizzas delivered to my house. It was for a birthday party. I had a mixture of pizzas. I received them and went into the. I noticed they did not have the seal stickers on the boxes. After that, I then opened them to revealed that they were well overdone and burnt. I tried calling a local Berkhamsted branch which they did not answer the phone twice. So the party wasn’t ruined and we had to eat what we were sold. I’ve been in contact with the contact details on PapaJohns website for them to say that I have accepted the pizzas at my front door and I’ve eaten them so for there I was happy with the product. I can’t believe that they have come back with that and said that on Goodwill, you can have a free large pizza. I just laughed at the email. What’s a total joke. I fall there will not be eating another pizza from Papa John’s. Disgusting. I have pictures on my phone, but I believe I can’t attach them to this message.

Had terrible pizzas from the Burntwood branch.
We had ordered 2 XXL pizzas that were awful.
They were meant to be spicy but there was no spice at all to them.
I emailed their customer services who said they would get in touch with the branch and get back to me.
They gave us codes to reorder the pizzas.
Wow! We ordered a Mexican with the one voucher. This was probably the best pizza we had ever had.
They got it right this time
It was full of spice. Little short on meat but lots of peppers, onions and jalapeños which was lovely.
The other bad pizza we had was a tandoori one.
It had hardly any curry base and was short on curry base. Again, this was perfect.
Beautiful curry base, nice amount of onions, chicken and jalapeños.
Lots of drizzle too
Always goes to show that if it’s not right complain.

Took an hour and 20 minutes to arrive. On the app, it showed it in "checking and cutting" for ages amd even longer on its way. When it arrived it was inedible. Stone cold, cheese (what there was if it) congealed. Barely any toppings,.3 slices of a double peperoni had no peperoni. Bases were rock hard, giant cookie was burnt.
Admittedly the manager refunded us, but if I'd wanted to be hungry I'd have just kept my money in the first place
