I agree with the other disappointed reviews..I’ve been a customer of Debenhams ,oasis and warehouse since time began and I’m finding myself chasing refunds and trying to get into the refund portal for oasis again.I’ve tried to rest my password but I’m never sent the link.sadly you cannot talk to anyone and I’m just thoroughly saddened the way the shopping experience has deteriorated .

In regards to resetting your password, I can see this order was placed as a "Guest", which means you do not hold an account with us and there is no account to log in to - this is the reason a password reset email is not being received.
Please allow 15 days from the date of posting your return for it to reach our warehouse and be refunded by our returns team. If a refund hasn't been received after this time, let us know and we'll be happy to get this sorted for you.

Charging VAT for Guernsey
I’m a girl in Australia who used to just love Oasis clothes both stylish and affordable. But because they no longer deliver to Australia since they joined Debenhams, I’m using a parcel forwarding service with a Guernsey address where VAT is not applicable. I have had to painstakingly extract information from them bit by bit regarding VAT refunds and they don’t seem to want to give the money back. Shocking customer service.
I put through orders on oasisfashion.com amounting to about GBP290. When I enquired about the VAT being refunded, they first said:
We do not ship internationally, if you would like to place an order you will need to use a UK address , you will then not be charged VAT.
I enquired further because nowhere was VAT discounted on my order, then they said:
So what you would need to do is place the order and then let me know. I can then get you a VAT invoice from the admin team which takes up to 3 working days. You would then need to claim this back with HMRC.
I put my orders through and asked for the invoices, they asked me to fill out a form with company name and VAT number(what the????)

Thanks for confirming this over, however please be advised that you have to pay £5 for your VAT receipt per order as is only free once your VAT registered or a charity provided that you have given a charity number. If not could you please confirm if you want to pay via Paypal or bank . Once payed please pop us a message showing that you have done paying the VAT and I will raise this to our relevant team right away.
Scandalous business practises, appalling excuse for customer service. Never again.

As VAT is added by the government and not by ourselves, it means that we would not be held responsible for any reimbursement of these fees.
With this being said, for the price of £5, we can provide a VAT invoice for you and from there, you would need to contact the tax office based in Guernsey and they will be able to provide more information and look into reimbursing any charges.

Very poor service with occasional rude attitude. Also keep requesting info that I have already given. further, it’s merged with other brand making shopping so difficult.
Been shopping from Oasis for years and it’s gone so downhill now. Avoid unless you want to waste time and money.

£120 refund gone missing
Order came via Debenhams. I returned and my refund of £120 has gone missing. Been waiting 2 weeks now. Every communication with customer services is "wait a few more days". The language used is also "you haven't been able to locate your refund", "you haven't checked your statement" etc. placing blame on me. Additionally, when trying to initiate the refund, it wouldn't accept my order number and I had to contact customer services just to even get the return request acknowledged so the returns portal doesn't work. Won't be ordering again. Debenhams merger has clearly been a disaster.

Really really poor experience. I returned some clothing I had bought. The OASIS website states returns are FREE however I was charged £1.99 once refunded for making this return. I spoke to their customer service who simply told me that as they had merged with Debenhams, returns cost £1.99. When I questioned that the OASIS website, where I ordered from, stated returns are FREE, they simply cut and pasted the previous response and sent again. Not only am I extremely disappointed that they are charging me for something that I was not informed about, but their customer service is appalling and shocking. I do not mind paying for returns however I mind when they deliberately lie on their website and charge for something that they say is free.
I have ordered from Oasis before (prior to Debenhams merger) and they were brilliant. I am extremely disappointed now and won’t be ordering again.

Thank you for providing the information, I can see that you ordered on the Debenhams site and not directly on the Oasis site however I can confirm that the returns cost on the oasis site is also £1.99.
We do recognise our premier customers and returns for those orders are free of charge.
More companies at the moment are introducing chargable returns and this is due to the increase in the courier services, to ensure that customers are not ordering excessively and a number of other reasons.

Poor quality
I used to buy most of my clothes from Oasis but since they changed companies the quality is very low. It's also very frustrating to have all kinds of brands on the website. This is looking more and more like a fast fashion brand.

What the hell has happened to Oasis? The website is awful, all different brands mixed in and the clothes look bland and dull.
Boohoo is destroying this brand which I have been shopping from since 1994. The stuff looks awful now ☹️.
In response to the reply - more branded stuff? What is that supposed to mean? Oasis is a brand! You are putting OTHER brands on the website and it looks like a tacky website now. Also, your new Oasis clothes look awful. Oh, also some of these reviews look fake.

Due to the rising cost of shipping, like other retailers, we have needed to introduce a return fee but this is signicantly less than what would be paid at a Post Office to post the parcel to us. Our return fee is shown on our returns policy and we do ask our customers to familiarise themselves with this to avoid any unexpected charges when placing an order.

have been trying to return some items in the returns portal and it’s asking for the order number and email. It allows me to enter my details in the first portal, however when I have to put it in the second portal in it informs me that the order number or email is not recognised. I have been trying this for 2 day now and it still won’t recognise either my order number or my email. I would be grateful if someone could advise me what I can do about this. I have checked this out for you and can see your order will load for a return through this link here: https://debenhams.returns.international/
All you should need to do is input your order number and email address or last 4 digits of your phone number.
From there you should be able to select the items you're returning.

Faulty dress but unable to return as it has been more than 6 months. £55 down the drain. Make it hard to contact them. Unhelpful and upsetting and won’t be using again.

Ho effettuato un ordine a luglio e non ho mai ricevuto le informazioni sulla spedizione. A distanza di una decina di giorni mando una mail chiedendo informazioni sulle tempistiche della spedizione, a cui non ho mai ricevuto risposta. Scrivo altre due mail per avere informazioni e anche un messaggio sull’account Instagram in cui vengono pubblicate storie con una certa frequenza, senza mai ricevere risposta.
Ho chiesto gentilmente di essere rimborsata ma nulla.

Ho effettuato un ordine il 22/08 e appena confermato e pagato mi sono accorta che non erano usciti i tempi di spedizione. Quindi ho scritto sia sulla loro pagina Instagram sia una mail ma non ho mai ricevuto risposta. Full refund after initial issues
I had some issues using the Inpost locker service and my items ended up in a different locker. I was no longer able to access them and after explaining the issue with both InPost and Oasis, I received a full refund. I was really concerned this wasn't going to happen as the tracking information stopped at the items being dropped off but I had a prompt no quibble return from Laura at Debenhams Customer Care (as the parcel was posted via them).

Oasis prices, Boohoo quality
Has anyone noticed that since the brand was bought by boohoo, the Oasis prices remain (was always happy to pay a bit more due to the good quality and design), but the quality is now boohoo quality (not great). Think I will be giving up on Oasis after being a fan for over 20 years.

After having issues getting in touch with customer services about a faulty product, I spoke with Joshua who helped me to get a new item sent in exchange for the faulty one. If you can’t get through via email I recommend Facebook and my query was answered and completed within a couple of hours.

I have been shopping in Oasis store for a long time (10 years it’s coming to). Now its app has made it super easier to shop. Oasis does the beautiful dress and they are very good quality compared to likes of ZARA, very moda , prettlittle things and of course shien. And the fact they gave petite section it’s even better for me. 😊
Customer service is one of a kind, communication is brilliant with email updates. I am a very happy customer. Thank you Oasis for my beautiful dresses and outfits. They look great and are unique. ♥️♥️♥️
