Highly recommended
I got 3 quotes to have the floorboards resanded in my Victorian terraced house. Mr Sander was in the middle, more towards the competitive end. I chose them because they came across as really friendly, helpful and accommodating.
Someone came in to quote a few days after my enquiry and they were able to start work only about 2 weeks later.
Vitor and Ismael did a really good job - very careful and conscientious. I'm very pleased with the result. The floor looks much better than it's ever looked before. I'd definitely recommend them.

Upstairs Floor Project
Alex, Alan and the team were brilliant from start to finish! We had 3 upstairs rooms with original 85 year old floorboards that look brand new. They were sanded, gap filled and stained perfectly to our liking. Booking was extremely easy, the team’s knowledge was top notch and I will be using them again in the future for my downstairs floors! Couldn’t recommend them more!

We couldn’t be happier with the job…
We couldn’t be happier with the job Alex did sanding our reclaimed oak parquet floor on our narrowboat. It was no small task — the boards were full of character (and a fair few quirks!), but he brought them back to life beautifully. The finish is smooth, glowing, and shows off every bit of that lovely old wood grain.
He was professional, friendly, and clearly takes real pride in his craft. Everything was done neatly, on time, and with a great eye for detail. It’s such a treat walking into the boat now — the floor genuinely transforms the space.
If you’ve got a unique project or an old floor that deserves some love, I’d absolutely recommend Alex. A real craftsman and a pleasure to have around.

Reclaimed oak parquet on a narrowboat is no small brief, so we’re thrilled to hear Alex brought all that character back to life. He’ll be chuffed to read your kind words about his craftsmanship, care and tidy, on-time approach — and that the smooth, glowing finish has transformed the space.
Quick aftercare tip to keep it looking its best on the water: felt pads on furniture, a good entrance mat, wipe spills promptly, and a light damp (not wet) mop now and then. If you’d ever like a maintenance refresh in future, we’re here.
Thanks again for the wholehearted recommendation.

Bobi and Valentin from Mr Sander in…
Bobi and Valentin from Mr Sander in Aylesbury came over to sand and restore my very old floor boards (possibly 250 years old). They did an astonishing job. Completely transformed them, I can't believe how well they have turned out. I can't recommend them enough. Also lovely chaps who are incredibly polite and conscientious.

Colin — thank you for the wonderful review.
We’re delighted to hear your (very possibly 250-year-old!) floorboards in Aylesbury have been so beautifully transformed. Bobi and Valentin will be chuffed to bits with your praise — they’re as polite and conscientious as they come, and they’ll be thrilled you’re so pleased with the result.
For aftercare: add felt pads to furniture, use a good entrance mat, wipe spills promptly, and give the boards a light damp (not wet) clean now and then. When the time’s right, we can advise on a quick maintenance coat to keep them looking their best.
Thanks again for the wholehearted recommendation.

Better than we could have imagined!
This was the second time we asked Aliber to sand a floor. He'd done a great job on our living room floor, but this was the hallway - it was very stained and worn from years of use. But it looks every bit as good as the living room. Both floors in fact look far better than when we first had them sanded when we moved in, over 20 years ago. Aliber is polite, friendly, punctual and very neat and tidy. We recommend him without hesitation.

What a fantastic experience
What a fantastic experience! I had the engineered wood floor in my new flat sanded and lacquered by Alberto, as the existing floor was very worn. Quote was arranged rapidly and Alberto then managed to fit my job in within a couple of weeks, before my furniture arrived, which was a fantastic help. He was exceptionally careful at the corners and edges so that I need to touch up only a couple of spots on the skirting boards. He explained how to wash and take care of the wood floor so that it lasts longer, when to get it sanded and lacquered again and even advised me how I could sand and re-oil my kitchen worktop myself. I’m delighted with the outcome and will certainly be going back to Mr Sander and Alberto when my floor needs attention again.
