Over a week to process an order, delivered by dhl, i say delivered they didn't ring the doorbell and actually didn't even leave it on the property but at the end of the drive. Complete rubbish service - what has happened to you Mole?

Awful - get your online stuff sorted and get a decent delivery service

I telephoned mole valley to check that the Cirencester branch did have coal bricks in store and was assured that they had 21 packs (I even gave the stock number). Fairly long journey, arrived and discovered that there were only two of the required packs but there were many compressed wood bricks that had been left in the rain and were unsaleable. I did voice my grievance to a lady manager but there was nothing that she could do about the situation. So all in all their stock control system leaves much to be desired.

Mole Valley removed my last review so here it is again pretty much word for word.

Appalling bad service. Took my monies but took them over 7 days to realise they could not fulfil the order - blaming the issue on their supplier.

First and last time will I use this outfit.

Switched my dog onto their Lamb Country dog food and his coat has come up lovely and shiny. Really well priced and always delivered on time.

I know I opted for standard delivery but I was waiting so long I went and bought some from torne valley. They were Rutland so better quality than the ones from Mole on line.

We purchased a bag of premium working dog food in February, and there was several issues on their end with the ordering process so it took a while. Once we managed to get the order placed we received the bag 4/5 days later in the evening and we were desperately needing dog food, so we quickly opened the bag and fed our dogs.

One of them wouldn’t eat the food, and the other dog was violently ill that night, and it resulted in a vets visit the following day.

In the evening (the day after it arrived) we tipped out the contents and noticed that the bag was full of mould…

I had to wait until the Monday to contact them (as they were closed over the weekend) but all they said was while they take it seriously, it could have happened in our home… although the bag had only been with us for 2 days. They sent out a new bag, but no refunds were given and all we got was a 10% off “goodwill voucher” as if it’s our fault. We binned the new bag and wouldn’t buy from them again after getting an £120 vet bill!

Good products at a good price and, delivered on time..

I go into Cirencester branch every few weeks, they seem to need a manager there as it just seems to drift along. It's always very ploddy getting served, when I buy stuff that needs collecting from the warehouse it's even worse. Today went in for dog and goat food. Managed the dog food as I served myself off the floor but could have goat food even though they had some. The reason? They have no forklift truck driver! Only one driver in the whole branch and s/he is missing in action. Give the staff a bit of a shake to get them stirred up please. This was after the computer system failure a few months back branch wide, could only sell for cash and it went on for days. Get a grip!

I had a problem with a delivery of dog food, but it was dealt with quickly and efficiently.

I have been a customer for well over 10 years at Mole Valley and have always had good experiences, and staff used to be great. However, the last few times, the staff will be less than friendly and seem like they are put out when serving you. Today ther was an issue with and item being return missing parts and the "manager" Jackie and a staff member chris where extremely rude, when they were asked about the missing part they made out that we were lying about the part being missing! They then told us they wouldn't do anything till Monday! Where they would ring someone and see if they had it. No mention of resovling the issues now or even what they would do if they couldn't find the part. As far as I was concerned, that is not the way to treat customers, and the rudeness of the staff member chris and the so-called manager Jackie was discusting! The fact they even had the audacity to accuse me for things that I wasn't even present for and to call me names it's absolutely unacceptable and it was the worst "customer scevice" I've ever experienced. I will now be using other farm shops and would even drive to the newqauy branch over returning here!

Dreadfully slow at processing orders. Have been let down previously because of a computer problem, but decided to give them another go. Oh dear…5 days after placing a simple order, still not been processed. When chasing up by telephone, was given the excuse of a lack of staff. Admin staff are very pleasant but no warehouse staff seems to be a recurring issue looking at the reviews. So still waiting and wished I’d not bothered. Had to order elsewhere to tide me
over. Won’t be making the same mistake with Mole Valley again. Sorry

Used the online service as I was ordering large items. 3-5 days service they said, on day 5 after receiving confirmation my order would be delivered by DHL I cleared working from home so someone would be in to receive the order. Unfortunately only part of the order arrived, a small box of food, the 2 large bags of dog food, that I didn't want to have to carry around, would be delivered the next day. If only I'd been told this the day before so I could rearrange my working from home day, as no one in the next day. I phoned customer services and explained I wouldn't be in the next days and was told a member of the webservice would contact me. I received an email saying effective DHL would deliver tomorrow. I phoned again rather annoyed that they hadn't listened to a word I had said. That call was just as bad I would get my goods tomorrow. While I appreciate there is not much they can do about DHLs appalling delivery service just saying the same thing over again isn't going to fix things. Their conclusion was that as the delivery was outside the 3-5 day they will get DHL to return the goods to them, once they have the goods back I can have a refund. Luckily for my dogs I am in the position to be able to purchase additional food for them while I wait for a refund, which if the 3-5 days delivery is anything to go by won't be any time soon.

The bird-food peanuts provided were of good quality at a reasonable price.

It’s ok the only thing which is annoying is that it takes them a week to send the order out. So if you need something asap don’t order online.

The bag of bird seed I received was split open very poor by DHL

Made a thirty plus mile round trip to Cullompton store to buy women walking/work boots.
One style only, in bright blue, no cushioning and made of a material that would last minutes in the countryside for almost £100.
Women clothing seemed to be patterned blouses. Lots of boots for men though. Might have boots for women in around middle of next month. Not a store for practical countryside clothing in winter.

I have used Mole a few times and they never disappoint. Decent prices and excellent service. Goods always arrive on time.
