Have ordered from ModelHobbies over 20 times now. All but one time the orders were fulfilled quickly and the service was excellent. The one and only time I did have an issue was in the middle of COVID lockdown when an order went missing. Even so the company came through and resolved the problem quickly via e-Mail and replacement items were sent within 3 days. Surprised at the poor reviews. My own experience has generally been very good. Happy to buy form then again.

Ordered from this company on Amazon. Order never arrived and, like many others judging by the reviews, all my communications were ignored. Eventually got a refund from Amazon. It now looks like they don’t sell there anymore. Good riddance!

Ordered 2 paints. Only one arrived. Does not respond to emails. The worst customer service I've ever experienced!

Absolutely no issues, placed an order online, was given an update some 48 hours later that the goods had been dispatched and some weeks later they arrived on my doorstep safe and sound.

Order not received. Tried to contact via phone and email. NO RESPONSE. Appalling customer service. Avoid!!!!

Avoid! took my money, never sent my order, never replied to my message. I was supposed to receive my order 1.5 week ago. Thankfully got my money back via Ebay. It's a joke not a company.

Buy frequently from this supplier, only ever had one delivery issue and it was promptly sorted.

Shocking!!!!! Ordered model, no updates given, paid for prompt delivery as quoted 9 days later l chased, then told it must of got lost in post no apology no explsination. Shocking after sales service... as with a large majority of buyers from this website I agree AVOID THIS LOT LIKE THE PLAGUE..

I have used modelhobbies a number of times over the past two years or so, with multiple purchases each time. I have never had any problems; invariably everything has arrived, well packaged. I have not had any reason to separately contact the company so cannot comment on that. Astonished at the number of poor/negative reviews.

Be very careful. They will confirrm your purchase has been sent without sending it and you are then into a nightmare getting your money back. I hate giving bad reviews but in this instance other modellers need to be aware of their fraud.

Rubbish, avoid like the plague. Selling stuff the don't have in stock and will hold onto your money for along as possible with no communication until they're forced to give it back. They will just ignore you.

My order was marked as dispatched almost straight away. Over two weeks later I had to refer my problem to Paypal and only then did it arrive, marked as Royal mail 48Hr!
They do not answer emails, even when sent through Paypal. Terrible customer service and not worth the savings. I'd recommend passing them by.

Only positive experience on multiple occasions on this end. Very good prices and choice of accessories, eg Aires resin, AOA and Caracal decals. Recommended.

Seems people either love or hate this company!
I was a bit cautious about placing an order when 2/3rds of the reviews give a bad rating. Decided to try a small order to see for myself as the prices were so competitive.
Ordered arrived within 5 working days, well packaged and complete.

I only read the trustpilot reviews after making an order, so like others, was a little concerned. However I have to say I experienced no problems with this company. I'm in the UK and ordered several Eduard detailing sets.
They arrived 4 days later, extremely well packaged, so no problems whatsoever from my perspective

Was sent wrong item. Complained, no response to emails. Called, phone just rings. I wish I'd checked them out first, as feedback confirms they are a poor company and should be avoided. Got my money back via eBay.

Ordered two models value £70.00 last week, delivered on time. Items well packed and good condition.
Having read quite a few negative reviews I was a little concerned but the service was great.

I write here also to testify about my old bad experience with this company. In Sep 2018, I ordered several models for a total of 135 £. I never received my items ! I sent several emails to Model Hobbies but they never replied. I tried to phone, no reply. By chance I did it by Paypal and I have been able to refund. Of course I won't anymore order anything on their web site
reading others trustpilot notes, it's always the same story. No delivery, no response.
I don't understand how such company can exist ! They act like thieves.

But... I must fairly update my review. I initially gave one star because reading the reviews I really was thinking I wouldn't see my order and I'd lost the 100+ money, as I was not receiving replies to my emails either. In the end though, they did reply and apparently my order had been missed through their web-site order page or something. I was given the option of a refund or accept it. It arrived next day. Everything I ordered was in the box. I rarely give max star reviews and four seems too many for the temporary stress it caused. So 3/5. 11 days delivery time in-all. So all's ok in the end, I just wished they communicated better and their website search was improved, as they probably have something you want but you have to search endless pages to find it, or not.

Have bought from them on Ebay before and never had any issues, I decided to order direct as the savings were considerable. I read the reviews on here and was a bit apprehensive ,but I ordered anyway.
Placed order Monday evening it was delivered Friday morning complete and well packed.
I will definitely be ordering from them again
