Don’t understand the negative reviews. I’ve been a customer for 2 or 3 years now. Great prices and service, customer service has been faultless. Twice I’ve had packages go missing in the post but Model Hobbies sent out replacements within days, no quibble.
A bit concerned at the moment that I can’t access their website though.

I placed an order a couple of weeks ago and received it as promised, no issues at all. I then placed a second order 10 days ago, and I’ve had nothing arrive. The first time I got a notification directly from Royal Mail saying they had received my order, but not the second time, despite receiving a ‘dispatched email’. I have reached not to customer service twice with no response, and looking at the reviews, I wouldn’t recommend purchasing. You are not able to access the website as of 11th May 2022, so something doesn’t add up. Paid on card from the website, so unlikely that I’ll get my money back.

This is one of my lowest reviews ever, very disappointed with the 'service'. I was a returning customer and had had no problems before.
I ordered on the 15th April, within a day it was shown as dispatched via Royal Mail, delivery still hadn't arrived by the 25th, so I used the 'contact us' form on the website and got an auto response. As of the 6th May today, I have still not had a delivery or a response from them. Only after this problem did I read other reviews, absolutely shocking.
Paypal have refunded me almost immediately, so I've bought the same items from one of my dependable suppliers.
i will never buy from this company again, treating customers like this (no tracking, not answering the phone, and 3 weeks wasted).

Never had an issue with then, regardless if buying through their online store or eBay thingy. Super responsive customer help desk when I asked for the canopy replacement (came broken on sprue).

My order failed to arrive. I contacted customer service by email, who replied the next day and agreed the order was lost in transit. I asked for a tracking number, which was not provided. Seller stated they would resend my order. Nothing received.

I ordered an item via eBay one Sunday evening, realised I’d ordered the wrong thing and cancelled it, then ordered the correct item from the same seller. On the Wednesday they sent both items and refused my cancellation. I returned the wrong item and have had to contact eBay because no refund has been given.

bought what i call a expensive model kit from them, as i wanted it quick instead of free delivery, paid extra for fast delivery. you cannot phone them, as dont take phone calls due to covid ??????. after few days emailed them asking when i would get delivery, quick response email saying item dispatched, which was a TOTAL LIE, item is and was in stock. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

For the future I will never make purchases with your company again and I will spread adequate negative publicity towards you. About the rest... incommentable. Shame on you!

I was reluctant to give a low score as I have previously bought a lot through their eBay shop with no issues at all. Recently, though I have had a number of issues.
Firstly, a part-order went missing and despite a number of calls and emails no response was received. I received a refund via eBay for one part of the order but I’m still out of pocket for the remaining items. After raising a query with eBay I am now unable to complete any purchases with them through their eBay shop.
I suppose my expectations of good service continuing were somewhat let down but ultimately it’s their loss as I won’t be buying any more until they at least get in touch to explain their actions

I've used Model Hobbies twice in the last two months and their service has been, as I've experienced previously, faultless. Good communication and rapid delivery, including over the busy Xmas/New Year period. Having dealt with this company for a number of years now, I've never had an issue.

Bought three items but only two turned up, leaving me £44 out of pocket. No reply to several emails, but eBay refunded me eventually, thankfully. They have no interest in you or your satisfaction once they have your money, and this isn’t an unusual happening. Read the other reviews, then walk away.

stay clear they just take your money and no model arrives! ive emailed them and rang but no response.

Bought an item that had a missing part; although I couldn’t call the company they responded to my emails, possible from PayPal and assured me that by early the next week they would either source the part or refund me. The missing bit arrived in three days. So from my perspective the outcome was perfect and no complaints. And thanks to Danielle in customer services for keeping me informed.

Ordered two items on eBay within minutes of each other. Asked them to combine postage and refund difference. Their ignored my request and didn’t reply to three emails. My advice, use one of the genuine honest online sellers such as eModels or Jedlam, shop somewhere else, anywhere.

Ordered 7 kits was a bit apprehensive due to reviews but received quickly with no issues

Modlehobbies is a excellent retailer.Great prices. Great communication and an excellent service. Everthing that I bought from them was in excellent condition from product to packaging. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.A++

Paid in full, never received. No replies to my numerous mails to them. When I see all other bad reviews, I wish I saw them earlier. I'm glad PayPal refunded me by simply opening a dispute...

This company has managed to mess up 75% of the orders I have places with them, including overcharging for orders. To add insult to injury they ignore emails and don't answer the phone when you try to resolve the issue. Have had to resort to raising disputes with Paypal to try and get some resolution. My best advice, shop somewhere, anywhere, else.

Ordered two models from this vompany and didn't receive either, avoid!!! Ongoing paypal resulution case going on.
