I had to make two calls today
I had to make two calls today, querying an increase in prices. The portal showed £6.12.My bank was billed £6.60
The first agent was unable to decipher the difference and transferred me to the finance team. I was left on hold, and bizarrely, was invited to take part in a satisfaction survey. I terminated this auto response.
The second agent explained the increase of 6p per pint, plus an additional fuel surcharge still applies.
I never received an email about the increase. A fallout from launching a new portal?
Perversely the website shows semi-skimmed as £1.25.

We recently implemented a price adjustment, and notifications were sent to customers via email in advance. We're very sorry to hear that you did not receive this communication. We would recommend checking both your inbox and your spam/junk folders, as occasionally emails can be filtered incorrectly. We will also pass your feedback on to the relevant team so they can investigate this further.
We're also disappointed to hear about your experience when contacting us regarding the price increase. It is frustrating that you were directed to Credit Control and invited to take part in a survey before receiving an explanation about your query. Ideally, the initial advisor should have been able to explain the price adjustment and address your concerns directly.
For greater visibility of your account, we would also recommend accessing your customer portal, where you can view your current products, pricing, and account information at any time.
Once again, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and frustration caused. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, as your feedback helps us improve the service we provide.

Order not received.
Received two weeks of milk but the third week was not delivered although payments have been taken. The provided contact number does not work and their site is down for maintenance. I have cancelled the direct debit.

Our phone lines are available Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and we are not currently experiencing high call volumes, so you should be able to get through to a member of the team without any issues.
We're sorry for any inconvenience caused by the customer portal being unavailable. The portal was down for maintenance earlier today while we resolved some technical issues, but it is now back online and fully operational.
To discuss your missed delivery, please contact our Customer Service team on 0330 555 5588, via Live Chat on our website, or through our social media channels. Our team will be happy to investigate this for you and provide any assistance required.
Once again, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused and hope we can restore your faith in our service going forward.
Speeding driver again
This morning at 4 am there delivery driver thinks he is a F1 driver I have complained for the second time to mcqueens nothing has been done I’ve asked the driver this morning to slow down it’s a 30 mph street not 60
His response was just to go even faster I will be phoning the police to day and see what they think 😡

Great milk, below average account admin
I have been using McQueens Dairies for around 8 months now. The milk is great and I’ve always received my milk orders.
I have experienced issues changing my order on the portal so I’ve had to call. I’ve also noticed issues with the direct debit payments. Some times they take random amounts / 2 separate payments in one week. This week they have taken around 30p more than expected even though I’ve made no changes for the past few weeks. No explanation or prior warning is given about why they are taking more than the amount showing on the portal.🤷♀️

We're sorry to hear that you've experienced issues with the customer portal when trying to amend your order. Regarding the Direct Debit payments, we recently migrated to a new system. During this transition, any changes made to an order could generate separate invoices, which may have resulted in multiple charges being taken throughout the week. We understand how confusing and frustrating this must have been. Thankfully, this issue has now been resolved, and payments should now be collected as a single weekly charge.
Regarding the 30p increase, this is likely due to the price adjustment that was introduced this month. We previously sent an email to customers about this change, although we appreciate that it may have been missed. As with many businesses, rising operational and material costs have affected us, and this adjustment helps us maintain the quality and reliability of the service we strive to provide.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. Comments like yours help us improve our services and provide a better experience for all our customers.

Our first order was completely ruined by birds bread, eggs, milk, everything - yet we were still charged. I contacted them immediately, explained what happened and made it clear we have a large parcel box that must be used. They agreed and said a note was added to our account.
Second order (23rd July) same thing again. The driver ignored the parcel box right beside the door and left everything on the doorstep. Birds destroyed it all.
I contacted them straight away to cancel and request a refund. They tried to persuade us to stay, but they couldn’t guarantee the driver wouldn’t make the same mistake again so we refused. I was told the refund would be processed that day.
Ten days later! nothing. I chased via live chat and was told they couldn’t help and someone from accounts would call me. It’s now 12th August no refund, no call, no accountability!
Absolute shambles of a company and service. Avoid at all costs
