Extremely Disappointed with Club Management and Official Services

I am extremely disappointed with the official Manchester United store, services, and the overall direction of the club. The quality of products and services has plummeted, while prices continue to rise. Under the current management of the Glazer family and Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the fan experience is completely neglected in favor of profit. I will no longer purchase any official merchandise or renew any subscriptions until there is real, meaningful change in how this club is run. #BoycottUnited #GlazersOut

Awful ownership, run the club into the ground

Great website, ability to book game tickets if a member, assessable tickets, buy items feom the shop and read about latest news and past history. Good platform.

We bought my son his first (and last!) football kit hoping it would be something we could keep. Unfortunately after about 4 washes (per instructions) the adidas stripes are peeling off the shorts. Customer service advisors were responsive but all they could offer was a £2.50 refund which is laughable. Looking at other reviews this is clearly not a one off, it’s a shame as we’d have bought many more over the years had they resolved this for us!

Shocking all round, the site always crashed, the app barely works and the customer service is slow or non existent. Just spent 200 on 2 tickets for me and my son, 300 on the hotel last night, 100 on travel & 105 on 2 memberships as you can't receive 2 tickets to one membership anymore.... Now because of thenew ticket selling rules my friends been suspended from selling his tickets leaving me and my son with no tickets for the game and 0 help at all from the staff at man united. Shocking experience won't be buying tickets again.

And that's coming from a fan who supports the team from the late 19eighties!!! Almost 4 decades of support...

I had a ticket at the East Stand 32 for the CL game vs Sabah Baku at Old Trafford, but the machine at the gate wasn't letting me in! The staff at the gate tried for 15 minutes to fix the ticket on my phone due to the NFC stuff but they failed. Then, they sent me to the ticket office which was a long walk, and I had to wait in a long queue while the game had already started!!!!
After the queue, the person who helped me managed to fix the technical glitch on my phone in 10 seconds!!!
Overall, my experience meant that I missed over 30 mins of the game, missed the first goal, and walked so much, and got stressed out and disappointed. That's not what I should tolerate after driving for over 3 hours to arrive to Old Trafford from Loughborough, and a further 3 hours drive after the game!!!!
The booking system must be fixed, and the support at the gates must be available... The nonsense of walking to the ticket office is disrespectful to fans, and Manchester United should know and should do better than that!
By the way, what if someone didn't have a phone with NFC??? Are they not allowed to watch the game? And are they not allowed to buy tickets?

I ordered the blue away shirt online personalised.When it arrived i was shocked to find how the shirt was wrapped, so no they don't take care with customers orders.The number on the back of the shirt was not straight.I sent emails and photographic evidence of the number but they said they couldn't find anything wrong,but they wouldn't they had already been payed.I can clearly see it isn't straight.£120 for something I am not happy with.Will never order anything again.Very poor

Love Manchester United❤️. I took on MUTV to watch the pre season friendlys. It was like watching tv from the 70s. Very poor quality picture honestly you could not make out who had the ball. Multi million pound club please have a better business attitude. If you’re going to ask more money on top of my sky bill please state it’s not HD tv like you get on all football sky channels. I paid for a few months and did not watch a full game due to picture quality. Still love the club ❤️

Countless problems with the new MUTV.
I couldn't watch a live match because the website failed. I contacted MUTV and the response was effectively "the app was working" even though that's not my preferred way to watch.
They don't put the games up until several days later even the pre-season games don't get uploaded quickly.
The desktop video player still doesn't work properly as the match doesn't fit the screen. I've contacted MUTV but they've done nothing about it.
The website redesign has made finding content harder.
The feedback process itself appears to have an error code! I rest my case.

Absolutely disgusting club!! Been chasing a membership refund since the start of June and its now the 23rd July and they still haven't issued it after saying they have. This club is a joke!! Do not sign up to any membership at this club, Absolutely disgusting!! Robbing trashy club. Been a member for over 5 years now and this is how they treat their so called fans. Disgusting club stay away from purchasing a membership.

This might be some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.
For somewhere that I’ve spent a lifetime investing in and supporting, I find this shocking.
I was born in Urmston and while I now live in London I can’t think of a time when the care of fans has been any worse.

Still waiting for Sabina Garcia and other CSA’s to respond to the exceptionally poor returns portal on the club shop.

Is this Jim’s way of trying to stealthily skip past the returns period and force people to keep items they can’t sell???

Just paid £70 for adverts trying to sell me merch and match day experience's from £380-£1200

Bought my grandson a ManUtd football kit £92 for a Christmas present. He’s literally only worn it a few time as the white logos are coming off. You don’t expect this to happen after such a short while. They refuse to compensate me which is outrageous. I could have bought a replica kit for a fraction of the price. What makes it more upsetting is I’m an 80 year old grandmother and it took me some time to save up, all said it’s very upsetting

Replaced their support staff with terrible AI

I bought tickets for my Kid about three years ago and didn't notice the recurring charge until this most recent one.

I noticed this one because they emailed me telling me to update my card details or the payment wouldn't go through and subscription cancelled. That's fine, annoyed I didn't notice I was being billed sooner.

Then, even though my card details had changed and they said they wouldn't bill me, they charge me £75 and the bank is fine with just letting that card payment go even though the CVV number is different.

Called them to try and resolve it and got stuck with their AI assistant who is really slow, can't really understand what you're asking, can't really respond properly and he's supposed to put me through to a real person if I need one but he will not do that under any circumstances.

I spent half an hour talking with 'John' to try and get him to recognise my request for a cancellation and refund - wouldn't let me speak to anyone, just kept asking for a membership number and he couldn't get it, kept telling me he had confirmed cancellation and refund on someone else's membership. Not my membership number.

So then I spent a good five minutes typing it in one number at a time while John read that back to me.

Then he confirmed that the refund and cancellation with the correct number and because he's so bad at his job I asked for a reference number or email confirmation and their AI assistant can't do that.

Most of the time he can't even speak without chopping up words, it's basically unusable and whoever decided that was something that was worth paying for needs to be sacked.

My youngest kid is ten years old and I could have him do this job better, in less time and with far less frustration than this "automated assistant"

If I could rate this experience Zero stars or go negative I would but I'll have to settle with 1*

I'm also not convinced I'm going to get a refund in 14 working days and then I'll have to chase all this up with my bank for fraud - because it is.

Update : Now a month on, I've got an email saying I'm due back the money but no money back. Just a complete waste of time and they're hoping you don't chase it and they can keep it ... I'm going to, they're not keeping it.

Went for a corporate game against Forest last Sunday. The staff are great but the stadium needs serious work. Would be a 1 star if the staff weren't so good.

Very bad since the update especially the new app too horrible layout not has much as b4 either I been a user for years this new layout & the fact they've taken predictions away with 3 games left is outrageous most probably lose a user here since this Radcliffe come on he's more of a dictator than these glazers both of em have done nothing for the fans apart from rip them off

Re Manchester Marathon - MUFC parking: Overall I was very happy with the marathon event so this is not really a reflection on that organisation BUT the pre-booked parking at MUFC Old Trafford football ground was an absolute disgrace. DO NOT USE THIS. The queue of cars stopped moving 2 miles before the car park (we arrived 1 hour early) and I had to get out and walk the rest of the way to the race starting area. If I had been driving alone then I would certainly have missed the race altogether and I'm sure this must have happened to some people. Luckily my wife was with me and able to stay in the car but it took her 2 HOURS to reach the car park! When she finally got there, the staff would not accept my print-out as proof of booking or her screenshot of my booking, they would only accept the proof from my phone wallet and thankfully I left my phone with her as without it she may have been refused access even though I pre-booked! To the race organisers I would say you need to sort his out. To everyone else participating or supporting I say DO NOT USE THIS CAR PARK!
