lastminute cancelled my booking after confirmation because they made an error (double booked hotel)_ Then - with great difficulty - I got an agent who fixed another booking (I had to change dates , airport and hotel) I paid deposit and went online later to pay in full. Decided to correct the DOB of my guests (which I had got slightly wrong in conversation with agent) and then found lastminute had withdrawn confirmation which prevented me paying in full. Their T&Cs say the booking will be cancelled if not paid in full by today so I am fully expecting this second trip to be aborted too. Then I suppose I'll have to fight to get my deposit back. Cannot get hold of anyone to talk to, of course.
These people are either totally incompetent or deliberate scammers.
They have caused me enormous problems, stress and wasted time and I am now back to beginning trying to book the trip.

If you buy a ticket, dont waste your time with any other feature they'll try to get you to buy - their insurance is a scam, they'll refund about 75% of the cost as a nonrefundable voucher - which is a clause written in super small print when you buy a "FullFlex Ticket" that should allow you to "Cancel anywhere anytime no questions asked"

Bought flights, took the money out of my CC, never had a payment confirmation, or booking info. Emailed them, but they know. They would state'' no booking, no trace''. DO NOT BUY anything through them, its a roulette if they will scam you, as they know you would be in limbo if no booking info was offered. They get away with clean hands and they know. Everyone should stay away, and never pay for anything. They are in for a quick buck before they go bankrupt or close the website. Do not pay their next bills! Let's all spread this, i will make a tik tok video to put this company and Sergio Signoretti, CFO, out of business asap.

Ich habe auf meiner Reise einige Schwierigkeiten gehabt. Es wurde einfach mein Rückflug storniert, weil der Hinflug ausgefallen ist und das Frühstück im Hotel wurde nicht dazugebucht, obwohl ich es bei Lastminute bezahlt habe.
Die Hotline Mitarbeiter sind unfreundlich und lassen mich im Stich!

I tried to add an additional piece of luggage to my booking, clicked on the icon for an additional piece and instead got 5kg added to my allowance, this is not what i wanted and tried to change it to what i did want. I went through the chat online option, eventually got connect to a human but after taking 15 mins to ask 2 questions both of which were supplied to the Bot the conversation was ended. I then tried to call them, they make trying to find a contact number almost impossible but they was a disconnected number. Finally found an email via google and wrote to customer.care, the replied was automated and not withstanding having set out what the issue was th eadvice was to go back to their site......a circular way to avoid providing any level of customer service

Lastminute: the nightmare
After simply asking how much it would cost me to cancel my ticket to the Philippines: direct cancellation, with no possibility of going back! The airline Koreanair however validates the refund, with some costs, in 24 hours. Last-minute, faithful to its policy of delaying to collect bank interest, even discouraging the client and keeping the sums, has still not updated the file, and asks me to wait again and again, 6 weeks later, it's still "waiting for response from airline" which is completely untrue.
Always buy your tickets directly from the company, the price differences have been minimal for years now, and often it's even cheaper. And the possibilities of modification / cancellation are much better.

J'ai réservé un pack avion et hôtel depuis 10 jours et j'ai dû annuler...aucune information sur le site sur les conséquences de l'annulation.
Résultat un mail m'indiquant 30% de frais d'annulation... J'appelle pour contester et clairement la personne m'envoie paître.
A croire que le process d'annulation est monté pour matraquer.
En outre le service client de très mauvaise qualité.

If only I took the time to read reviews before I spent over $20,000.00 with this incompetent company! What I nightmare! Booked a holiday package with these guys, only to to first get told that my flights were cancelled (but upon checking directly with airline that the flights were not cancelled, but last minute for some reason couldn't book). I did recieve a refund after a long time, which meant I had to wait for the funds to rebook. They guaranteed me that the hotel was confirmed and paid, but then trying to contact the hotel, the phone number just rang out (tried everyday for over a week) then they provides me with a email address to contact which was a Gmail email. Still no reply, meaning that I'm now waiting for a refund and have to secure another hotel. I have gone to a different company to secure my hotel and within hours the new hotel emailed me and confirmed everything was set. How lastminute is still in business blows my mind. The one positive is that the customer service representative I spook to was nice. But it's me that's now out of pocket waiting for refunds. Never again 😒
Update on refund: in all fairness, I want to point out that the refund for my hotel was processed and landed in my bank account in two days.

Réservation d'un voyage sur Lastminute (vol + hôtel + location voiture) par erreur notre voyage à été annulée, nous recevons un message de Lastminute qui nous remboursé 264€ sur 1460€ ... Après avoir batailler avec des numéros qui ne serve strictement a rien, nous avons un conseiller en ligne et la surprise, ont nous dis que nous ne pouvons pas récupérer notre voyage, et que l'hôtel y a des frais d'annulation de 100% !!! Que les billet eux ne sont pas remboursables ( alors que assurance prise au cas où ) et que la voiture non plus pas remboursables..
Bref société à fuir ... Vous voulez un voyage alors allez en agence ou traiter directement avec la compagnie aérienne mais surtout NE PASSER JAMAIS PAR LASTVOLEUR.COM

Recently I booked a trip to Lourdess, France for Monday 22nd August-24th August with lastminute.com on 27th July 2022 for 4 people. Booking was not easy. The website was so confusing for my trip. After spending good few hours, I decided to call the customer services when I eventually got to speak to someone, she was unable to book it as the website was down and moreover she stated she needed time to look into my requirements and will get back to me. She did get back to me on the same day and booked the trip to Lourdes/France for me. WHILE BOOKING, I spelt every single name phonetically to avoid spelling mistakes. At that time of booking, I felt confident that it was all done in the right way at least on my part. Problem occured when I did not get the confirmation email for few hours. I rang the same number again and the lady stated that it may take 24hours for a booking to be processed and come to me. I had no choice other than wait.
I am journeying through secondary cancer treatment and at times after treatment can fall ill dramatically. As it happens to be, on the same day of the treatment whilst going to the treatment, I had a car accident but had the chemo treatment. As it happened, I did fall ill after booking the holiday and could not check emails. A week before the trip probably 15th August, I called customer services again and asking for confirmation of my trip. I was told it was in my account with Lastminute.com but it wasn't and so I called again. After calling the customer services a few times , eventually on 17th August I got the confirmation. When I checked the email, my first name had one consonant missing at the end. I called them strainght away and when I got through, the person, a gentleman at the end of the line assured me that it will be done straight away and the relevant department will send me a confirmation email. 24 hours gone pass and I did not get any email confirming my name correction or if there was a request sent to relevant department for correction to me made. I called again, the person stated again that she will request it while I am on the phone. She said it had been done and I shd get the email very soon. The whole day gone pass but no emails. I called next day again (by this time) I think, it was Friday. T|he person again stated that he had made another request. This time I got an email stating the department has got a request to correct the name. It will take 5 working days to do it. In a panicked state, I called again and requested to be done sooner. I was told nothing he/she can do I just have to wait. The relevant department aware of the travel date and the urgency of it. On Sunday 21st August, I called again early in the morning because there was no confirmation of the correction and this time I was assured it would be done today (Sunday 21st August) I was so anxious by this time and was unable to conduct/engage in any conversations. So my brother came over who was accompanying me on this trip. He made a call to the customer services. At around 4pm I got an email stating it will cost me £144.00 for this correction, if I accept it and pay for it, they will do it there and then. Obviously, I was horrified. But at the 11th hour, I had no time to protest, contest the fee or do anything else other than pay for it.
My complaint is that, that at no point I was informed/advised that a name correction which was not my fault at all, simply a digit missing at the end and would be classed as a typing error, would be a subject to charge and the amount of the charges for a correction of a name.
They did not offer any other alternative other than paying the money. Everytime I called, I opted to record the call. Anyone could have listened to the call or the very least, offerred me to register it as a complaint and look into the matter at a later time. It was very poor services.
I was made to pay at the time when I had no choice.
it feels as if, Lastminute.com did all this on purpose for thre following reasons:
I never got the confirmation email.
When I register the error of my first name, it should have been done sooner rather than at the last minute.
I should have been advised about the fee for correction even if it is a mistake not on my part but their own booking clerk.
I was left anxious and panicked.
The lastminute.com booking clerk was advised about my health and that's why she needed to take time to look for a suitable accommodation and flight closer to the Venue.

Would have given negative if possible. Terrible customer service. My ticket with Singapore airlines was flexible one but couldn't change my dates as these people can't see. I could see in Singapore airlines the dates were available. Never book from these guys.

Jamás te puedes poner en contacto con ellos pues han puesto un telefono en su web que es un robot, así de esta manera nunca puedes reclamar el dinero que te han estafado

Je déconseille fortement Lastminute, j’attends un remboursement depuis plus de 5 mois suite à une annulation, malgré toutes mes relances par mails et par téléphone, je n’ai toujours pas eu de remboursement.
Le service après vente est MINABLE, un vrai manque de PROFESSIONNALISME… en gros FUYEZ car au moindre problème vous ne serais pas accompagné et encore moins remboursé

Had to cancel an interstate flight in September 2021 due to all the borders closing across Australia due to pandemic. Rang Lastminute.com.au to get a refund, they said they would only give travel vouchers for flights, and to get a refund for accommodation i had to contact the hotel directly myself, (which luckily they happily did)
We were told we had a year to use our flight vouchers (August 21 - August 22) In February i got an email from lastminute to say we had to travel by May 1st, or we would lose our vouchers.
Day 1: I spent 4 hours on phone trying to rebook our original trip. I Spoke to, and got disconnected from 2 different agents who told me i had to book with Virgin Airline direct, each time waiting in a queue for up to 1hr. Upon ringing Virgin Airways directly, they told me they couldn't book my flights as the vouchers were being held by a third party, and they would do it once Lastminute gave them the authority to do so. Got back on phone to Lastminute, spoke to another 2 agents, disconnected from both half way through my bookings!
Day 2: spent 2.5 hours on phone... first agent told me again i had to ring the airline directly, when i explained what Virgin Airlines had told me, she put me on hold to ring airline directly..and yes i got disconnected!
Luckily finally the 2nd agent was very accommodating as I was quite angry by then. After i explained the problems i had been having, and probably not very nicely I might add!…..Finally after being on phone with him for 1hr, and him promising he would refresh the call regularly, my flights were rebooked….Hallelujah!!
As it’s actually an American company and not Australian as website shows (last minute.com.au)
I certainly will not be using them again😠
