Positive experience so far working with Knightsbridge! The team have all been excellent to work with so far; very responsive to my emails and sticking to deadlines/timelines in the marketing stage. I look forward to continuing to work with them to hopefully a succesful sale.

PLEASE BE AWARE - this company have tried to buy my silence and I have refused. I was offered £2000 plus VAT to remove this review which I declined. That's how bad this lot are. Even discounting the fee I paid by 2k, my review would still be as it is.

How many other people have they paid to remove bad reviews???

Since my review below was published, they failed spectacularly in trying to resolve matters.

I have offered a meeting at a time of their choosing between myself and the regional commercial director on no fewer than 4 occasions since writing this review. Each one declined. Why does the man who valued the business and promised he would always be there when needed, never be available to speak with me? It's simple, he lies to get the listing. I asked for this meeting when I was under contract with them and again since this review was written, each time waffle and refusal.

Apart from being offered money to remove this review, the following has happened.

I spoke with the operations director on the phone, he promised to get back to me by a specific date and failed. He would then get back to me apologising and setting another date, only for that to fail again. He then went on holiday until 6th Jan and promised to come back to me that week (W/C 6th Jan). He did, but had no answers and now wanted until the 16th of January to have a conclusion. (by this point, I had already rejected their verbal 2K offer). The 16th came and went and the on the 6th of Feb he said he would call on Monday 9th Feb for a full outcome and decision as he put it.
At last, he stuck to a date, I got the call on Monday the 9th Feb. Nothing has changed, offer of 2k and still refusing a meeting with the commercial director.
I received a email of this offer the day after and asked a simple question, still waiting on a reply.

Obviously I can back all of this up with emails etc.

Below is the review I done in December 2025. Since then, you should be aware we have had even more failings from this company.

If I could award a minus, I would

Promised the earth (we have buyers waiting for your specific business and I was in a meeting this morning with a client wanting exactly this. Also, I can think of 6/7 people that would want your business right now and thats before I go through the database)

They want a big listing fee, promise monthly updates (never happened) promised to be on the end of the phone if needed (never happened).

The gentleman who I done the deal with (Regional Commercial Director) advised that he was always only ever a call or email away. Around 7 months or so into the agreement I wanted to speak with him, as I was unhappy at the lack of interest and that his promises were not being achieved. What he said I would get for the business was severely downgraded (less than half of what was promised). I asked my contact to arrange a teams meeting between the 3 of us, nothing. I kept asking for the remaining time I was with them, nothing.

This company won't sell your business, but they will take a huge fee of 20K plus VAT for listing it.

Once bitten twice shy, never again

UPDATE - Knightsbridge rejected my first review on the basis I named a person who was instrumental in me deciding to go with them. I have since changed that to his job description.

Also, you will now see that they want me to call them. I got an email from them on 2/12/25 after the initial review asking me to call the Operations Director. I did, he was on another call but the message to call me back was being given to him straight after his call. I said, so I should hear back in around 15 minutes and the person on the phone said, I would think so. More than 24hrs later, nothing, no call back. A familiar experience for me.

So the Operations DIRECTOR and REGIONAL COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR seem unable to pick up the phone.

The fee to list my business was 20K, split into 2 payments. Does this look like a 20K service to you?

as of 27/03/26, my email to the operations director on 10th Feb 2026 remains unanswered and it looks like it is being ignored by them. The email was an offer of a meeting between myself operations director and DP (Regional Commercial director) at a time of their choosing. Until this meeting takes place, I can't accept the £2000 plus VAT that they have offered me to remove this review. Why are they running away? Why don't they want to meet with me to discuss this? Answer - They lied all the way through this and they have no answers.

Excellent service in preparing our business documents and putting our business to market.

Can highly recommend working with Knightsbridge! Harriet has been excellent to work with so far. She has been very responsive to my emails and has been great at sending me businesses for review. I look forward to continuing to work with her to close on a deal!

Great and fast communication and clear support

I like that they respond fast and Elle Scot was good in following up

Spammers.
And before they say "why not unsubscribe" it's physically impossible to unsubscribe from something NEVER subscribed to in the first place.
Actions by their marketing team are in contravention of UK and EU laws.
Have reported their repeated spamming of my PERSONAL email address to ICO, the various spam listing companies and their mail providers.

Great meeting with Chris Darroux at Knightsbridge. For an SME like ours it would be a perfect fit and a well tailored service. Chris did an excellent job presenting Knightsbridge, explaining process, pros and cons, the market, and answering questions.

The company has a good portfolio and has been good at following up with businesses that could be of interest to us. They are also proactive and helpful in setting up meetings. The valuations they tell their clients that they can achieve for their businesses are completely unrealistic, which significantly slows down, or outright destroys the possibility of sales happening.

Harriet has been exceptional in all that she does , we really enjoy working with her and she should keep up the great work.

I have recently sold my families business with Knightsbridge and what a job Leanne did !

To say the buyer was interesting is probably far from the truth of it all. It was a very challenging sale and extremely complex. Leanne was so much help all the way through. She didn’t just help to sell the business but she was there emotionally as well. She guiding us through a total mine field of things I had very little knowledge on. She always had time to explain everything to me and reassured me so it made the whole experience that much easier.

This sale was not easy and I think it will be one she will remember forever ! But she got the job done, there were times I wanted to give up but she was always so supportive and guilded me through. Can’t thank her enough and the team behind her. Who were always there to help if Leanne was not available. I would highly recommend using knights bridge.

Jasmine has been a great help.

The company take ages to get back to you some times don't even bother, if I was a company selling with theses I would think twice.

Selling a business is never an easy decision. From day one having Leanne Boulding by our side made is feel much more comfortable. Her regular none pushy check ins are very much welcomed. Our decision changed and we decided to no longer sell our business and Leanne's reaction was brilliant and full of support.

Excellent and responsive service from Jasmine who provided all the details required, correctly and accurately understood our enquiry brief and was very helpful throughout our contact. Our company is actively involved in acquiring companies and will be pleased to work with Jasmine in the months ahead.

So far very good experience (I have liaised with Matthew and Jasmine). Unfortunately, it has not turned into an acquisition yet, but the brokers seem eager to help and support.
