have never received my order. when will i receive it?

I was looking to replace my knife that had given me 30 years of service and came across KitchenKnives. Their price was spot on and the service from ordering to delivery was 1st class. Will definitely buy from them again.

I'm impressed. I purchased a pair of Global Kitchen Shears and was very disappointed to find that they had a juddery motion... not the level of quality I would expect from this brand. I immediately emailed KitchenKnives who were very prompt in dealing with my issue. Within a few days a replacement had arrived, and of the expected Global quality.
Many thanks for turning an initially disappointing purchase into a positive experience.

I purchased two 4-piece sets of Laguiole S/S Steak Knives in July 2024, attracted by the "extreme quality" and "sturdy production" advertised on the Kitchen Knives website.

Unfortunately, within 19 months, one set of 4 knives has suffered identical structural failures: the pins in the handles have come loose, causing the handles to split and fall apart. While the knives look beautiful, the build quality of this specific batch is clearly not fit for purpose. What is most revealing is that while one set has failed completely, the second set remains perfectly fine despite identical treatment.

When I contacted customer service, they refused to help, citing a "hidden" clause (17.8) in their Terms of Business which voids the warranty for any dishwasher use. This restriction is not mentioned in the main product description and was not prominent at the point of sale. Under the Consumer Rights Act, significant limitations like this should be transparent, not buried in the small print.

I previously had an identical Laguiole set that lasted 9 years with the same care, so it’s disappointing to experience a clear product failure and deal with a retailer that relies on technicalities rather than standing by their products. Avoid if you use a dishwasher and expect a reasonable service.

Very easy to use the website. Knives were just as hoped for; excellent balance and really sharp. We are delighted with our purchase.

My son requested a “good” kitchen knife for Christmas. As I already have a wonderful Wüsthof chef’s knife it was an easy decision to purchase the same for him. There are many top quality brands to choose from but as I have had an excellent experience with Wüsthof I remained faithful to this brand. My choice of knife came with generous freebee’s which were welcome additions to the gift. The whole transaction was very straightforward so one happy customer and one delighted recipient. I have since returned to purchase the knife sharpener. I am now looking for a smaller kitchen knife so guess where I am going to look!!!

I had an excellent experience with KitchenKnives.co.uk. I purchased several high-quality Wüsthof knives from them in September 2024, and earlier this year I had an unexpected issue where a bread knife fractured cleanly in half after a short fall.

Although accidental drops aren’t normally covered under warranty, Tom at KitchenKnives.co.uk went above and beyond by contacting Wüsthof on my behalf and pushing for a resolution. Wüsthof ultimately agreed to replace the knife free of charge, which I really wasn’t expecting.

This is a great example of a retailer genuinely fighting their customer’s corner. Knives aren’t something you buy often, but based on this experience I wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future. Outstanding service from Tom and the team. I highly recommended.
