I completely agree with previous reviews re: stringing you along so as not to give a refund.

This software is simply rubbish, I run an iMac with macOS Mojave and Kaspersky has not run properly since installation.

It blocks perfectly legitimate website activity and prohibits me from developing websites locally due to blocked images (I am a developer)

Manual full scans pretty much always fail and result in a crash. I have managed to complete ONE full scan since installation. The other 20 or so all crashed out after around 30,000 file scans.

Support is terrible, they simply get you to send log files and then tell you they cannot replicate the problem. I asked for a refund as the software does not work for me, and they cannot resolve, but like others I was told I am now out of the 14 day return period.

Terrible. DO NOT BUY.

Nie mehr Kaspersy !!!
Sehr ärgerlich... ich habe vor Monaten dieses Abo gekündigt... und alles auf meinem PC deinstalliert. Gemailt dass ich keine Reminder oder Mails oder Werbung mehr bekommen möchte.... trotzdem werde ich wöchentlich, manchmal täglich mit Erinnerungsmails zur Aboverlangerung bombardiert..... sooo ärgerlich !!! löscht mich endlich aus eurer Datei !!!

This "anti-virus" software simply passes all well known software such as Microsoft and labels the software of small companies as having a virus which they decline to describe. If you pay for this software, you are wasting your money!

Disgraceful. I purchased the total internet security mid year. The virus protection was non existent. I've had my data hacked time and time again. I purchased a new computer with new software etc. I phone Kasperky for assistance to check thier applications. I was greeted by the rudest man. He told me to google how to use it and upgrade to a years description of $299 for total virus security. I advised him this was not possible and unheard of. He abused me verbally to no end. I've never in my entire life received such an abusive salesman. There was no abuse my end. I was completely dumbfounded and phoned back to speak to a manager. I was disconnected twice. I phoned back again asking for a callback which didn't arrive. Something completely unsavoury has happened or is happening with this company. Buyer beware. Please do not attempt to purchase these products.

Nice product to safe guard your Laptop etc..
Your system slows down on boot up for couple of mins, but it work flawless...

Die offensichtlich versteckte Abo-Funktion des Vertrages ist für mich eine Art von Täuschung.
Bei Reklamation erhält man nach Wochen eine kurze Antwort, die das Problem nicht anerkennt.
War das letzte Mal, dass ich Kaspersky eine Chance gegeben habe.

Bruger af Kasper...i de sidste 15 år, aldrig haft problemer med dette. Altid hjælp at hente, hvis man nu køber det hos f.eks Jumbo-Computer. Kan købes gældende for 3 PC i 3 år , mener jeg gav ca. 1100,- husk at indstillingerne skal være iorden, og opdatere når der gives besked herom... PERFEKT!!!

For Kaspersky Internet Security 2019, please add Database Update notification same as Kaspersky Internet Security 2018. I think Database Update notification is useful for many users.

cpu 73° battery 45° without launched apps, some core disabled, anormal cpu workflow, gps spoofing, cell id spoofing......activate or disable wifi bluetooth nfc remotely, the brightness, modificate files permissions.....

so many evidences you can' t deny even if you are a noob in it security.....

the only thing they keed asking is a aida64 logs...... and then they do nothing else.....

you pay kaspersky and there is no support at all.......;

Føler mig forsøgt narret. Har haft Kaspersky Total Security i 2 år på 3 maskiner. Licensen udløber snart. Så jeg får en mail, med tilbud om forlængelse. pris 1345 kr og de gør stort nummer ud af at det er en special loyal customer pris...1 uge senere samme pris tilbud men med 10 % yderligere rabat...prisen er nu 1079 kr...2 uger senere nyt tilbud, samme pris men med 20 % yderligere rabat..prisen er nu 972 kr. men går jeg ind på deres hjemmeside og køber total security med 3 licenser i 2 år, kan jeg få det til 954 kr og lukker jeg siden med inkøbsvognen, får jeg efter 10 sekunder et tilbud med 150 kr. rabat, så nu er prisen for nyt product 804 kr, tilsvarende 972 kr som special loyal customer pris.....til sidst kan jeg så købe digital nøgle licens hos e-gear med 3 pc 2 år for 529 kr.....jeg føler deres handels metoder er dybt bekymrende og de forsøger at snyde deres kunder helt åbenlyst, og hvis de allerede snyder deres loyale kunder ved købet, snyder de dem så også under brugen af softwaren eller med softwaren ? Har forsøgt at kontakte dem 6 gange, ingen svar !

I was looking to migrate to a new Anti-Virus/Security Software. I contacted them via their website and it was recommended that I install their "Total Security" trial and then upgrade to the full version.

The trial didn't even last 3 days before I found how buggy the software was. I could not even open a normal browser window without Kaspersky on its own launching a "Protected Browser" and it was always to the exact same website.

I reported these issues and heard nothing back from them regarding this. Being ignored tells me many things as I am a Software Engineer by trade. Needless to say I decided that there was a huge lack of support and there were too many bugs/issues with it so I used the Windows "Programs and Features" to uninstall the program. I even restarted the computer.

I then installed the next on my list to try application. When it installed I received a message advising me that Kaspersky was still installed on the computer. Being told this I went to see if I could find anything on the internet regarding this... Found an article saying that there might be scheduled tasks that were not deleted, checked it out and it was not the case. Also, I did not see any files left on the computer.

I contacted them and things even became more crazy... I had to give them control of my computer and they attempted to reinstall their software (I had a new product and it prevented them from doing this, something I told them would happen). Ended up uninstalling the new solution so they could then re-install their solution to uninstall it again.

They then had me download an additional application and to have them run it while I was logged in to "Safe Mode".

They then had me log back in and they said since it was not in the Taskbar it was no longer installed.

As I am an IT Professional I was smart enough to have launched into the registry and found the first entry with "Kaspersky". They told me I would need to manually find and delete every occurrence.

I could not believe what they were telling me. I also could not believe that they do not even have tools that will cleanup a failed uninstall. As an IT Professional I cannot recommend this product and will stay away from it in the future.

Funktioniert nicht mit PayPal.

Kaspersky funktioniert oft nicht mit PayPal, da ein iframe geladen wird. Kaspersky hat PayPal als nicht sicheren Zahlungsdienstleister deklariert.

Somit fällt das Produkt für mich und unsere Firma aus.

EDIT 2025:
Ich hatte PayPal global bei Kaspersky whitelisten lassen über viele Monate langer Arbeit. Aber dann ging es. :)

Har brugt Kaspersky i mange år.
I 2017 blev mit abonnement ved en fejl fornyet 2 gange, kundeservice ville refondere det for meget betalte. Dette skete dog ikke. Jeg har skrevet flere gange, desværre reagere firnaet ikke.
Ved udløb af abonnementet fra sidste år, viser det sig at jeg pludselig har 2. Jeg tæppebombes med mail om at de 2 udløber. Jeg får bedre og bedre tilbud, men stadig ingen reaktion på mine mail.
Jeg ærgre mig over den dårlig stil fra kaspersky.
En ny udbyder er fundet.

Som den eneste i familien med IT evner har jeg nu gennem de sidste ca. 8 år styret og installeret Kaspersky internet security på 6 - 8 maskiner. Fordelen ved KIS når alle de andre ingen IT evner har, er at når jeg først har den installeret hos dem, så er der tæt ved nul problemer med at KIS skriver u-forståelige beskeder til brugeren. Vi begyndte at bruge Kaspersky efter at nogle i familien fik virus. Siden er der ingen som har haft en virus. Der har ingen problemer været ved opdatering af programmet og ingen problemer med licensfornyelse. Når jeg installere en ny licens bliver den gamle licens's tid ( antal dage ) lagt sammen med den nye licens, så der er ingen spild hvis jeg installere f.eks. en måned før licensen udløber. Det smarte ved Kaspersky's licens, er at den gælder for et givent antal PC'er online samtidig, så du kan installere på lige så du vil, når blot det antal som er online samtidig ikke overstiger antallet af licenser.

I had used another for years and thought to try this K. Was okay but when things went wrong the service was very average and not available at all hours(which for example nort. Is) Also something got in and I had to restart windows 10on many occasions . So dumped it! Felt it was very taxing on my laptop and not effective. Can’t recommend.
