I gotta give Kapwing a round of applause for all of the free and completely amazing videos, images, and fonts they have. Thanks! Anyways, Kapwing is very slow and laggy. It took about three or so minutes to load in my video. It has great AI tools, tho. You can't choose what type of project you want (video, Facebook post, presentation, etc.) I recommend Canva. It is a better alternative for Kapwing

Anyways, I will tell you. PLEASE LISTEN KAPWING: When I go to my project, the error said: Response Timeout. IS YOUR SERVERS GOING OFFLINE FOR
A BIT? 2. The error keeps popping up many times in
a row!! THREE AND FINALLY: The worst part is...WHENEVER I PASTE, THE ERROR POP UP! YKW? I had enough of you, Kapwing! Even I still miss videopad because videopad has liquid resize...SO I'M NOT GOING TO USE YOUR APP AGAIN KAPWING!! So, don't you even think about going to kapwing again.

Telling the customer that he needs to login AFTER he edited an image is scummy. BUT what's even more scummy: to tell the customer that every image has a watermark and that you have to pay to remove it.

I suspect these other reviews are from people who work at Kapwing. Glitches and bugs mean features that worked an hour ago,now do not...tried again then it doesn't. Spent whole evening trying to add subtitles to 4 videos. Last video keeps freezing. Now the hassle to cancel subscription.

Im a youtuber and streamer and i use kapwing becuase its financially affordable. But damn does it have bugs, it always glitches, it moves segments without me wanting too. It screws with my audio so its not synced with the movement of the lips. When you download the product its completly different and u find out that its synced and good but then there are times where audio is synced with video but when you download it, all of a sudden its changed. When these things happen its stressful then you have to go all the way back and move sh@t around to see if you actually screwed up when in reality its the software literally ruining your project in most cases. I would add an edit in the beginning of the video then all of a sudden it out of no where ends up at the end of the video in some random place and you have to fish for it to find it or risk uploading video and having it trigger at the wrong time in your finished piece. It always freezes, i would check my catches clear them, my internet is fine i have the highest speed with my provider and cpu is clear of any unnecessary resources being taken up.kapwing has potential, but its not Vegas pro and i will be making the switch when i have the money. It sucks cuz i like kapwing when it works, but not when it makes you lack confidence due to it bugging out. ITS ridiculous. Please fix your software it has potential but its GARBAGE right now! paying 24 a month and its not even worth that much with all the problems I'm facing.PLS FIX YOUR Program!

This kapwing review is going to be very honest. The features of Kapwing are amazing, if they ever work. Trying to do anything with this garbage software is a nightmare. Try making a simple 1 min reel can easily turn into a nightmare riddled with problems and you have no idea why. Now you're stuck wasting hours on top of more hours on what should have been a simple task. Garbage software. They don't offer refunds for this trash and they know it is. Crooks.

I've been with Kapwing for a couple of years now, after doing a full evaluation of video editing tools. It's come a long way even in those 2 years and now has key frames, transcripts and subtitles which I can also automatically translate into more than a dozen languages (very useful for Youtubers). I like the minimal learning curve as I juggle with more than a dozen systems for my work and as a non-graphics person, it helps make my videos look so much better. Transitions are intuitive with great previews and there are lots of effects to make your work more eye catching on social media. I also love being able to repurpose content from Youtube for other platforms and customize subtitles to be branded. The brand palette is fantastic, another recent feature, so I can create a consistent look across platforms. If you are stuck, help is responsive and I have chatted to the team a few times to give feedback. It's a company that actually listens and makes changes based on user feedback. To those who complain about a monthly fee, subtitling tools and other video editors only does a fraction of this tool: it is an all-in-one video editor, video repurposing, and subtitling tool. The Kapwing team are constantly rolling out improvements and new features and that requires people, time and money so, yes, I am happy to pay a monthly fee. Excellent work Kapwing team!
