Leaks leaks leaks....Kampa says it’s condensation, well if it is it is still a major problem....lost all confidence in this Air ace awning, a complete waste of money plus it’s very difficult to get any type of compensation. Note that Kampa only give a 1 year warranty whilst most other awning manufacturers give a minimum of 2 years...perhaps they haven’t got confidence in their product...my advice... don’t buy a Kampa awning.

Absolute rubbish, not worth complaining about ,as kampa do not care , waste of money

Shocked that an air tube in our awning exploded. Ripped quite a lot of stitching. Fortunately we were just within the 2 year guarantee period for the tube.
Took the awning back to Glossop Caravans, where we bought it. What a bunch of ignorant, insensitive, contemptuous fools ( I would normally use a word far more descriptive).
No help whatsoever. Refused a full repair.
Managed to get details of Kampa customer service. Contacted them, repair arranged by Rebecca Meakin and carried out in time for a trip away that had been booked for over 8 months. Despite a small problem after the repair, all is well.
Thank you Kampa, at least you were prepared to accept responsibility, which is more than can be said for Glossop Caravans.

I bought a Kampa tent after looking around someone else's who had had one for a couple of years, I was initially very happy with it however after only a couple of trips the elastic in the poles broke, and looking at the other poles several of those also were looking very frayed and worn and then a couple of them were also cracked.

I contacted Kampa's customer service and after a couple of emails they were good enough to send out some replacement poles.

That was around four years ago and since then all has been good with the tent and I've been very happy with it and it has lasted well, some light signs of wear showing given its age now.

I will likely buy another Kampa in the future based on my experience, their designs and the customer service I received.

Just over a year old, and leaks like a sieve on the seams. Kampa advise that the awning may need to 'take up' and may leak for the first couple of wettings. This was indeed the case, and remains the case after a few more occasions of rain. We have not been out in very bad weather, being summer travellers only, but we are very disappointed in this product, which remains virtually unusable due to rain pouring in. Kampa have advised seam sealer inside and out, which we have actually already done, but will attempt again. Never needed this on previous products though.

Ours exploded..... they now want to try and repair it, what a load of bull. Plus the condensation is appalling.. don’t buy.

We purchased our first Kampa Air Awning 390 in 2016 had no issue with it sold it in 2018 because we purchased a New Caravan and needed a smaller porch awning we purchases a Kampa Awning Package deal for the Kampa Rally Air Pro from Camping World in Feb 2019 On our first trip away during heavy rain we noticed a leak where the window joins the roof area. Each time I call Camping World they tell me nobody is there to deal with my complaint and to call back between 12.30 and 1pm.I will not be expecting them to help me.I'm certain I will get better service from Kampa.Will post how I get on later.

I have recently bought the Kampa CLUB AIR 330 Pro and I do rate it highly. Very pleased with the extra depth that the awning offers. We just had a tremendous thunder and lightening storm overnight and glad to say the awning withstood all the rain. Bone dry this morning.
If I have a quibble, it’s a pity that both side don’t have mesh on the windows. Only one side offer it. I have now ordered the front mesh for the two front windows so that will help.

We have had our Kampa 390 plus awning 17 months. We paid over £1000 for it from Glossop Caravans. First time in rain last year it started to leak water, but after ringing Glossop Caravans they assured me it just needed to be weathered and would stop. We have been lucky enough to avoid the rain on any other holidays as mainly done weekends away with a different porch awning. Currently in Devon in the rain and the awning is pouring in from multiple places! Everything is absolutely soaked in the awning. Absolutely fuming! Can't believe you pay all this money and it's not even water tight! Will stay away from Kampa products in the future!

Very poor fit with so many bad design features. Has the people who design them ever used an awning before? The stitched corner areas near the base are not even square, which means it cannot be put up square and level. Metal poles have to be purchased to stop awning flapping against side wall and again appear to be designed by people who have no idea as they cannot be fitted properly due to the Caravan skirt rail. Curtains are awful and tacky and even the stitched in elastic and plastic ties are in the wrong place. Could have designed it better myself, as the moment it is first put up these design faults are so obvious. The remedy to correct these and other problems, would not involve any extra cost just a little thought and an interest in doing a good job.

I wouldn't touch with a barge pole. We have had so much trouble with
a tent we purchase in 2016 it is not worth the money or hassle.
I have recently been informed they will not assist because they say that their tents cannot be used in winds!!! How is that acceptable if you are away on holiday when the winds start are you supposed to pack everything up!! Absolutely furious and needless to say if we do not get a satisfactory outcome this will be going further and even make the press - disgusted

BEWARE !!! Kampa customer care is probably the worst I have ever encountered.
Bought Kampa windbreaker with metal poles on 6/6/2019. Less than 2 months later one of the metal poles broke for some reason. I contacted customer care and received an email confirming my enquiry saying they would respond within 3 to 4 working days. guess what ? no contact from them. sent another email to them and still no reply. I wish I would have read the reviews about Kampa before buying the item. I will not be buying Kampa products again

Actually my rating of the kampa Filey air 6 right now would be a zero. We have had our tent since July 2014 and have used it once or twice a year. Back in 2015 we came away for our annual trip and this was only the 2nd time we had used the tent. We got the tent up however could hear a hissing in the tent and very soon the tent was down. We found out that there was a hole in one of the tubes and we made a emergency call to the shop where we purchased it from who told us this was a known issue with the kampa air system as the tubes were made from a perishable material and they would courier up a full replacement set of tubesTo us however we were left without a tent for the night and had to pay for additional accommodation for the night until the parts arrived. We needed to replace the tubes ourselves which was very stressful and not at all necessary. We have also needed to replace the tubes again in 2018 (but had Pre purchased a further set of tubes as a precaution and took these with us every time we went away) these tubes were replaced in the pouring rain and again took several
Hours to complete as you can image having to strip out and replace the tubes in a deflated tent is very hard to do and it was only by the help of fellow campers we managed to do this. Then this year we have already used the tent once in July and had no issues at all with it. However only 12 days after putting the tent away we find overselves In a even worse position than we have been in before. So the tent was up for 2 hours and we were just finishing off the final bits putting bedding on etc it was raining outside and not very warm when there was a huge bang/explosion and the tent started to come down. We quickly tried to find out what had happened and we found a rather large hole in the Central beam and I got onto the camp shop again with the intention of replacing yet another tube. The shop did their best to help at 5pm and managed to speak to someone at kampa for a spare tube and we had a friend who was local to the shop who hadn’t left home at the time and would have gone and got the tube for us and brought it up when they joined us that evening. On returning to tell my husband I had sorted it I was greeted by a very angry husband who was soaked thru and told me the tube was the least of our problems and the explosion had made a huge hole in our tent in top. As we were staying on site for 10 nights and having friends staying and visiting whilst we were here we had no option but to go out and buy a new tent, if was good that go outdoors is open till 8pm and only 30 mins away. All Of our bedding, clothes and carpet were soaked thru and needed to dried also along with our kitchen unit and wardrobe. I am absolutely appalled at kampa. You knew back in 2015 there was a problem with the tubes you should have recalled the tent then and not left us with a £2000 tent that has caused us nothing but grief. We have been left out of pocket by kampas inefficiencies. We have also experienced water coming in thru the air poles in the past but have just accepted this and I can see from other people’s reviews that this is common along with the rain pushing down the top beams and The tent collapsing. I have raised a complaint with kampa and I am awaiting their response but as it was a Friday evening I will not hear any response until at least Monday but from their acknowledgment it can take up to 3 working days. We currently have a very wet
Old tent on our pitch trying to dry out but we are not in a position to take that tent home along with the new tent we have needed to purchase so I hope kampa come back to me quickly

kampa air awning complete and utter waste off your had earned money purchased a kampa air 390 plus 18 mouths ago, two off the air poles burst and the second time we put it up it ripped like tissue paper, emailed kampa and never got a response so to me that speaks for its self crappy product I wouldn't have one ever again even if some one else bought it ,if I could mark it no stars I would have done beware...

Brand new, how the hell is it supposed to sit on the tent and sit tight up against the tent? Nightmare.

Appalling! We spent £400 on an awning that we used twice last year. When we used it for the third time this year, two bits of the awning had come away from the rod part that you attach to your caravan. As there was a years warranty, we made a claim and sent photos. They said a sharp edge had caused this, total rubbish, new caravan and no sharp edges. We were going to take them to the small claims court because their warranty means nothing. We will not be buying anything else from them.

Kampa Ace Air 400 bladders exploded (2 different uprights in one holiday!) My Dad's awning failed whilst on holiday last week, seems from reading the reviews below this is a common fault. The awning was barely 3 years old and one of the centre upright air bladders spectacularly exploded at the top of the awning, ripping a 1 metre hole in the covering sleeve. Contacted Kampa, and within hours their warehouse manager Kevin replied, asked for our campsite address and sent a new bladder and sleeve through by 12pm next day. A few days later, the same thing happened to the end front upright, this time exploding at the bottom under the deflation valve. Contacted Kevin again and once again, replied within a couple of business hours and he sent through a replacement, plus replacement bladders and sleeves for the other 2 uprights for us to replace. I cannot fault their customer service, I thought I'd be having a fight with them on behalf of my Dad (who was really upset with the awning at this point) due to the age of the awning, but they were excellent and sent everything to the campsite by UPS next day 12pm. I know it's a priority for Kampa to get someone on a Caravan Club site repaired quickly as it's not a great advert for Kampa (everyone was looking at the collapsed awning and talking to us about it!) but their response was excellent. Thank you Kevin, it's wonderful to see that you were empowered to respond quickly and also for the little extras you sent - really makes a difference and restores our faith in the brand. I have the same awning (around the same age) and now wondering if we will have the same problems. But at least I hope if anything happens to our awning we'll get the same level of customer service that my Dad received.

I am just writing to say thank you for all you did regarding the replacement Privacy Room, it was a total shock to find that you had sent a full replacement.
