Hyde housing ASAB are very unprofessional, whey if i've made a complaint about staff bullying , why would that staff member still be on my case and responding to me via email? Is that not corrupt? I do believe the staff member has it in for me, why I do not know. An update, getting from bad to worse, on Friday, 09/07/26 i had a phone call from ASAB manager mr payne, and remember the phone calls are recorded, i'm arking the manager if you're not taking me to court no more after threatening and bullying me for 7 months about it, what is going on with my priority move? The manager then said he had a response for me, and then proceeded to send me a email dated. The 17th of December 2025, another threatening email bullying me about my tenancy and trying to take me to court. You cannot make this up, And I have all the proof to back it up. It gets better, i then proceeded to put in a formal complaint, To get a response back this morning 13/07/26 to say they're not upholding my complaint, how surprising. And for the record, the complaints team are not trying to resolve nothing. They are trying to cover up the contractor's force allegations. I have all the proof.

I've been living ina Hyde property for 22 years. The last 7 years I succeded the tenancy through my dad passing away. If I could rate it less than one star I would. So let's begin. For the last 15 years I've mice on and off (more on than off), and everytime it's the same old protocol. Put bait down and hope the tenant goes away (unless you go through your MP and Ombudsman, and even then that doesn't guarantee they'll rectify your issue). I've been through Orbis Pest Control and Nurture Pest Control. Orbis done proofing works in 2020, Hyde then gave me a new kitchen and within 3 weeks I had mice within the property all over again. Complained countless times (record absolutely everything these people will lie and/or blame everything on a new system implented), stage 1, stage 2 nothing. Even went to the ombudsman and still nothing. I've spent hundreds of pounds on caulk, mice traps, mice deterrents, steel wool and expanding foam (which does not work they'll bite through it eventually, mice are crafty little creatures). Since 2023 (personal but I don't care, this is how much I hate these people), I've tried to commit suicide several times to no avail. I even reached the stage, where it was either me gone out of this world rather than deal with the mice because I just cannot take it anymore. I cannot take the rubbish Hyde will feed you to cover themselves, I cannot take the physical and mental battle these people will put you through to do the bare minimum. I'm sick and tired of always having to call Hyde to report issues which I know they'll never solve so at this point. I'm done. I don't care for the person who reviews these reviews as I know they are told by Hyde to do this to keep up a reputation of them being the good boys. It's all well and good being concerned for my mental health but when your giving me constant delays, excuses and refuse to accept accountability over this then please do not call the police or ambulance when I'm threatening to take my own life over this and try to make yourselves when your not. Your pure scum. Only concerned when it's about money and/when people are behind on their rent. Scum you are. Absolute scum. And I know I'm not the only one who's gone through years of Hyde neglecting their home and ignore them. Only way to win with these people or get their attention is to go to the ombudsman and take them to court which I shall do. Hyde are the worst company to ever exist in my personal opinion and I hope people seriously think twice. To go and try to take a independent group with thousands of people who are going through the same thing to court because you don't like bad things being said about you when they're true just shows how ruthless and ill-judged Hyde truly are. I could go on all day but long story short, I'm clearly in a war with Hyde. Battle's just begun but the war is far from over.

Little update: I have been blocked from sending emails to customer services and complaints. I have cc'd my housing ombudsman assessor and I've asked for a GDPR request. It feels beyond personal has this has gone over for 15 years. But that's fine, I'll be keeping correspendence to a minimum.

I am disappointed that I have had Hyde out three times. They have yet to complete a satisfactory repair

I have very recently had two different contractors do work in my flat,I have been happy on both occasions.They have been polite, looks like they have done a good job, extremely happy with the way they cleaned up after themselves.
Not sure of the exact dates,it was last month.

Very kind and helpful it was a pleasure to have the engineer to my house

Extremely disappointed with the service and communication from Hyde.
Our lift has been out of use and turned off for weeks, and this is regular causing ongoing disruption and inconvenience. Despite raising the issue and it progressing through the complaints process to Stage 2, the communication and handling of the repair has been very poor. 3 of the lifts 4 blocks in our estate have been broken for a long time, so this isnt a isolated issue.

I was given a named point of contact, but despite calling multiple times and leaving messages requesting a callback, I have received no response. I have also repeatedly been given repair dates and updates, only for these not to happen, leaving me constantly chasing for information rather than being kept properly informed.

After waiting since April for the repair, the lift was eventually attended to, but after the repair it jolted badly when used and they came back and turned into off within hours. We've been waiting on parts, then they claimed the wrong parts were ordered, then we were waiting on different parts, now again we've been waiting on different parts. Each time you have to wait been 7days and 4 weeks for the parts to be delivered as they claim the parts come from Spain.

A housing provider should provide clear communication, realistic timescales, and repairs completed properly. Unfortunately, my experience has been ongoing delays, missed commitments, poor communication, and a lack of confidence that this matter is being handled appropriately.

From my experience Hyde agents are encouraged to lie/hide the truth to stop Customer calling or complaining. Wouldn't recommend.

The estate NO keeps sending moaning letters about nothing but doesn't respond to issues effecting the whole estate. For example recent camera installation by the scam private parking enforcement - no letter to the residents about how it is going to work - absolutely nothing!!
Now many residents have been getting parking charges for their car they park in the garage they rent from Hyde - the landlord of the estate!!
Carers are getting parking charges for visiting residents they look after. Community transport are refusing to drive onto the estate.
Even couriers are hesitant to drive into the estate. Complete shambles. Although we've become accustomed to that sort of thing...
And any money raised ISN'T even going to be reinvested in our dilapidated estate..!
