Overall experience, great, staff are brilliant in customer care and service, our purchase was in a sale and an absolute bargain for high quality materials. From floor staff to delivery and construction of furniture was second to none. In honesty, the only thing that put me off was the robotic waiter in the cafe as it takes out the human communication and that it kept stalling at certain tables!

Dave & Lee delivered my table today, 2 really nice guys, very polite and helpful.

The only problem I had was with the length of time I waited for the table (almost 3 months) !!! Advertised with a 3 week delivery time. ( obviously nothing to do with Dave & Lee)

I have an Ercol bedroom suite bought some time ago and I wanted to add a matching bedside cabinet. I looked at many websites including Ercol and could find no stockist with a matching cabinet. Housing Units (HU) came up with a match - at a reduced price from rrp. I phoned HU and was answered by a very obliging lady who explained there would be several weeks to wait for delivery and £90 to pay for a courier from Manchester to our home in Essex. Earlier than expected the item was carefully delivered to the room where it was required. Wonderful service from HU and from their courier.

All on time. Delivery was great from Paul and Arthur, who set everything up and were very tidy.

My wife and I went to find a chair or chairs that would suit our needs. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful to the extent that it was like going back to a bygone era. The quality of items is good but you pay a bit more for that. We saw something we liked and are likely to make a purchase soon.

Great service from all departments. I bought 2 chairs and a settee , the 2 chairs unfortunately were slightly not up to our expectations but they swapped them with another settee . Great customer service no hassle

I ordered a RHS Kingsize Duvet Set Yesterday for a Spring refresh of the Bedroom. The RHS Set arrived today excellent quality and at a great price. Highly Recommend Housing Units would buy from again.

Lee and David kept me informed of the delivery time on the day, were very friendly and professional, product is great also. Very happy.

paid in full 12/02/26 delivered incorrect 27/02/26, and returned immediately.
no customer service no correspondence, Its now been 4 weeks still no information when i ring and speak to Steve i am promised a call back and given a different date of my table and chairs being in stock. not good enough over £1400 paid and still nothing. Purchased the 5 year warranty and was received a confirmation email its started even though we haven't even got the furniture again Steve promised to sort it out and customer services would ring. Again nothing so very poor and customer relations appalling. So disappointed lovely showroom and sales staff but that doesn't help with your non existent customer service.

I visited Housing Units on 28th March to purchase a sofa, high chairs, and a lounge chair — and I couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Abbey and Stewart looked after me throughout, and their service was truly faultless. Their knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine willingness to help made the whole process enjoyable from start to finish.

They offered really useful tips and advice about the furniture, which made everything feel seamless and gave me complete confidence that I was choosing the right pieces for my home.

I’m already looking forward to my next visit — and I can’t thank Abbey and Stewart enough for such outstanding service!

We bought our furniture with an excellent offer which Housing Units' post on a regular basis. The furniture was top quality. Delivery was bang on time with Paul and Lee who were both polite and very, very helpful. Higjly recommended.

I recently purchased a sofa and armchair from Housing Units and unfortunately had a very poor overall experience.

The delivery was initially scheduled for early February but was delayed until March. On the first delivery attempt, the team arrived without any protective covering on the furniture and handled it with very little care — the sofa even hit the walls while being moved. They then refused to deliver it to my flat, claiming it was too heavy, despite me paying £95 for “room of choice” delivery. I was even told the items could be left in the car park for me to move myself, which was completely unacceptable.

After raising the issue and providing detailed photos and measurements of the staircase, a representative visited and confirmed there was sufficient space for the sofa to be delivered. A second delivery was then arranged and successfully completed.

While I appreciate that the delivery was eventually completed, the overall experience was stressful, time-consuming, and could have been avoided with better planning. Overall very disappointing.

Delivery was on time and a courtesy call before hand . Two men Lee and David friendly but professional . Lovely guys .

Craig & John contacted us 15 minutes before delivery and on arrival were professional courteous with their appearance & knowledge plus care and positioning of our new suite without any fuss or scratching heads !. A really positive team & credit to your establishment.

Had another great delivery from Joe and Paul second time I’ve had these great guys for a delivery. Today was my dining table and 6 chairs , delivered perfectly into my dining room and fully inspected.

Purchased a dining table and chairs and arranged delivery to my home.

Received a call from a customer service agent to arrive delivery date (either AM or PM on the specified day).

On the day of delivery I received a phone call from the delivery driver to say he was on route, you also receive tracking information via email.

The delivery drivers built the table and put everything together promptly and with care.

Really good quality furniture for a great price!
