This company set up an unsolicited account in our name then sent unordered product and invoice. Can't contact them. Seems like a full scam company, have reported to the FCA, bank and seeking more legal advice moving forward.
Not sure how this helps anyone other than to take note and stay away.

Terrible delivery as ordered a bike and courier said they could not deliver and will try nest working day but never deliverd so got the money back in my account now am being charged for the item on my account for the days it was in transit

Payment was easy to complete. I would have preferred to be able to put the amount I would prefer to pay. I was only able to pay amount stated.

Like others I received goods I did not order. I went onto their Webchat and was told it would be 20-30 minutes before I would be dealt with! I instructed them to email me -no reply as yet. I don't see why I should be put to any inconvenience though no fault of mine. They can come and collect their goods. I am not going to do anything. ps I've never had any dealings with this company.

Please never order from this catalogue the apr is £76 on top of my minimum payment which is £84 so I have to pay over £150 just to pay the minimum payment off they are ripping us off no other catalogue does this at such high apr as soon as I pay off I will close it down never to order again EVER

This company needs to employ a better cyber security team. An account was fraudulently set up with my details, but a fake email. First I had heard of the company when a set of mugs turned up that I had certainly not ordered. 2 weeks later a welcome to your credit account at a whopping 44.90% APR! That is definitely not something I would have ever accepted. Home Essentials happily froze the account and wanted said ugly mugs back, not a problem as I don't want them. Organised pick up, Evri came wrong day, then wouldn't accept parcel as HE never gave me any instructions on returns label. Avoid at all costs. I'm starting to think this company actually used my details from a JD williams order years previous as they allowed the account to be well used before the 'welcome' letter arrived alerting me to it. Action Fraud are aware.

Cheaters alert.. i have ordered 2 single seater and 1 - 3 seater sofa cover from home essentials oit of which 1 cover was missing.. they have no customer care, no one revert on mail..i have lost my money. So think 10 times before shopping from home essentials

Helpful advice and understanding

Don’t buy here worst company I have ever ever ever brought from. Save your time shop elsewhere I promise you will regret it almost every item I brought has broken, can’t return, can’t get no help, can’t speak to a human just automated copy and pasted replying. About £1500 out of pocket all in all and still paying it back. Charged me for a replacement item and won’t refund it also. Honestly, go elsewhere. They won’t be getting a penny more from me now.

Keep away from Home Essentials. They are dishonest! I ordered a laptop and on the description it clearly stated a 28 day return policy. I received it just in a box with o oute packaging. On opening the box the laptop was in an inner package which had no seals. The laptop was for my husband and he saw the spec on the box and said it wasn't what he wanted. I returned it and it was returned back to me stating that under their policy it was not a returnable item. I challenged this and then I received another email stating that the seals were broken. There were no seals to break! i will take this further. Absolutely awful. Give them a wide berth.

Ordered a bed, used their descriptions online and felt comfortable that it was correct and would fit perfect. Waited a week for delivery, once received and going to build it we have realised that the measurements online are incorrect by a good 10/11cm and so it is too big to fit the area we have. I contact straight away the same day to request a return due to being missold the item. Emails said within 4 days for a reply.. fair enough so the next day I did an online chat. Got told 24 hours and someone would contact to arrange the return.. this was Thursday. Item got delivered Wednesday. Waited til Friday has zero contact so my partner called up, ‘someone will contact you within 3 days and set that return up for you’ I received an email Monday asking me how we know the bed measurements are incorrect (we’ve told them all this on the calls/online chat and emails) replied straight away.. Wednesday comes still no contact to arrange return. Partner rings up. Lengthy discussion later told ‘my manager will email you dates to pick from and set that up for you as I come off the call to you’ we get an email ‘is product in original packaging? It’s now another 24 hours later, our response not replied to and no further contact with dates for collecting the return.. man on phone said they’re gathering information to pass onto the supplier with the return. No. Just no. You’ve left a customer for 8 days now with a Kingsize bed in two massive cardboard boxes in their small 2 bed house with 2 autistic children in it due to the fact you couldn’t supply correct measurements on the bed to begin with. Will be calling back up again tomorrow which will be day 9 of trying to return a bed that has been missold!! I will not be paying my account until this has all been rectified and if you try charging interest I will be contacting an ombudsman and trading standards. If this was a vulnerable elderly person who didn’t know their rights 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

I strongly advise against purchasing any products from Home Essential Products using online payment methods. This platform appears to be fraudulent, as they do not deliver items after receiving payment.

I personally experienced this with Order #310294, where I lost ₹6000 without any tracking information or resolution. Despite multiple attempts to contact their customer support, I received no response.

To avoid financial loss, I recommend using only trusted e-commerce platforms with secure payment options and verified reviews.
