Homebase - Frome Arvostelua 

Today I was assisted by a lovely man called Pete on the paint desk. He helped us find the match that we wanted and mixed it professionally. His helpfulness and good cheer brightened my day, it was fantastic customer service!

Efficient service from start to finish!

We were attended to by Pete (the paint mixer) who spent a long time to remix our paint to the shade required. His manner and expertise were first rate and he took time to match the shade needed.

Kate on the till was fantastic! She scanned a shower set I needed so I could check the price, and allowed me to pop it behind the till while I nipped home to get my card. She was friendly and happy to help.

Peter was really helpful and gave me the perfect advice on my project so I could purchase what I needed.

Over the past two weeks I have been to homebase Frome to get flooring, I have been helped by Pete, Kate, Terry and Josh all of which have been super helpful, and happy to help me.
I had to return items that I over bought and again they were happy to help, with no questions asked. Fabulous team. Thank you for your help.

Peter from the Frome store was awesome. Funny, knowledgeable and so professional. He has a great working relationship with his colleague Siobhan who was also brilliant to speak with. We love our new garden furniture and my kids are very relaxed while sitting on it. Thank you so much.

I had paint mixed at your Frome branch. Siobhan, was probably the most pleasant and obliging retail person I have encountered in very long time. Her knowledge and patience made my indecision much less painful!

Excellent service

The service was diabolical. We went to the click and collect counter only to be told by the assistant very bluntly that she was going home and we would have to find someone else to serve us. Having then received our order of 24paving slabs we did not get any further assistance with them . As someone who is 76 years of age I would have expected better. Further more I doubt if I will shop at this store in the future. The staff require training in customer service.

I looked at the plants on display and thought they were in very good condition, better than my local garden centre. I wish I had bought my annuals at Homebase this year but I’ll do so next year. Linde explained that your stock is always fresh.

Pete was amazing. Super helpful and knowledgeable about paint in ways one could never imagine.

Homebase Frome Somerset. I don’t usually write reviews I was so surprised/impressed by the expert advice Ian gave me re painting my bathroom. He even told me I was buying too much paint. I really appreciate this kind of REAL help. I trust Homebase now. I’ll go again

Peter at Homebase Frome is the most helpful person I've met in any store, must've sorted out at least 10 other people in the few minutes I was in there! Somebody give him a raise

Wish we had a good review to write, unfortunately we don’t!
We received a message today saying delivery day is today (31 May) similar to Bill who wrote a review earlier.
We assumed delivery would be between 7am - 6pm…WRONG!
I worked from home in order to accept our outside dining table & chairs.
We were supposed to be going away for the weekend at 6pm or earlier if the delivery arrived, XPO are supposed to be delivering the items. They have given various times for delivery - first one was at 12.05pm, then various other times were given, then it changed to 5.30, by which time I contacted customer services who was no help at all, just said it’s out for delivery today.
Why can’t they contact the delivery driver? It’s absolutely ridiculous that you have to wait in all day & night. Needless to say the delivery time has been changed to 8.48, well it’s not here, but thats not surprising because the time has now changed to 9.36 this evening which is a joke.
We have now had to cancel our weekend away, I really don’t think this delivery will arrive at all!
Communication costs a phone call!!
Even just to say “we’re sorry, it won’t be delivered today” would’ve been acceptable so that we could’ve gone away.
I wonder if anyone from homebase will even communicate or reply to this review??
Compensation would be a good gesture…
Won’t be ordering anything from Homebase again, lesson learnt…dreadful service & awful customer service.

I returned to the Frome store today and was greeted by the lovely Kate to who I expressed that I really wanted the green paint used in one of your bathroom displays - Kate was fantastic and reassuring in the fact that she could and would do her best to help me. She was smiley kind and extremely helpful.

She had to call over a paint specialist as it was his expertise - Pete his name was and as he came over we both noticed that I had spoken to him the day before about the same issue. “I havnt got a clue I told you yesterday” he was rude and extremely unhelpful. I found it hard to believe that he couldn’t enquire or do anything to help me find out what the colour may be. He walked away appeared annoyed that I had even asked again.

Kate noticed this rudeness and unhelpfulness and reassured me of anything she could do to help. Handing me a colour swatch and pointing me in the direction of more. Kate is an an employee you should be proud of and I speak highly of her. Pete on the other hand. Why work in customer service if your not willing to help a customer and you have a bad attitude.

Quick and easy.Greeted by friendly member of staff that found my item quickly.

Peter who works in the paint department of the Frome branch is highly knowledgable and very helpful. I was looking for paint for my shop front and he helped me choose the correct paint and matched to an existing colour. He quite clearly loves his job - thank you
