Buchung wurde 5 min vor Abholung storniert der ganze Umzug war geplant und ohne Transporter geht das nicht , kein Mitarbeiter der einem hilft einfach unverschämt!!

How I wish I had read these other reviews before I booked. Had a big day organised with friends to help me move furniture. Van opened and started okay, but it was impossible to disengage the parking break. Nothing on the app or inside would work. A very kind van driver from a local business came to help - he is an experienced driver and couldn't make it work either. The online support service that is supposed to work from 7.00am was unavailable. When I finally gave up and came home, I was advised I could not have a refund because I had to wait for an invoice. You just can't rely on these vehicles for anything important, always have a back-up and be prepared for a long haul to get a refund. In the end I booked a 'man and a van' for £20 more than the Hertz charge, and have my fingers crossed that may work better.

Don’t use hertz van hire!! They double charge u!!! Absolutely disgusting company!!! No customer service!!! Illegally charged me twice for fuel!!! I’m a disabled person on a very low income. Should’ve been £62 had a message saying it was £62 as per agreement they took £90!!!! Wouldn’t return my money even though I proved I had put more than enough diesel in on return. Charged me twice for diesel and mileage!! A £62 van ended up being over £100 in total!! I’m having to go to my bank to get it back!! Avoid avoid avoid!!! Customer service was rude and shockingly unhelpful!!

Das Fahrzeug war an allen 4 Ecken deutlich beschädigt; im Innenraum lag sehr viel Müll rum; die Frontascheibe hatte einen Steinschlag mitten im Sichtfeld; die Frontscheibe war extrem verschmutzt und die Scheibenwaschdüsen haben nicht funktioniert.
Dazu habe ich das Fahrzeug ca. 16:45 abgestellt und verschlossen, das System hatte aber 18:45 eingelesen und man hat mit weitere 40€ verrechnet. Auf Veto meinerseits wurde nur auf das System verwiesen und ich indirekt der Lüge bezichtigt.
Dort buche ich keine Fahrzeug mehr.

Shocking! Terrible app, booking never appeared, no phone contact. Did not provide a booking reference. Spent the entire two hour rental period looking at the van I had booked whilst on chat with them trying to resolve issues. Was told I had not booked with them (I had) as booking didn't exist (It did). Was also told they never send sms messages (they do) after receiving one from them with a link to a non existent webpage (complete web address was https) to complete my booking (which they had claimed did not exist). Their advisors either do not know about the company, do not know how to do their jobs or lie. My booking was then cancelled, after the time the van had been due to be returned, and I was unable to use the van at all. Still been charged though, that appears to be the one thing they are capable of doing. Have downloaded transcripts of all chats and will be trying to complain but don't hold out much hope. They are borderline criminal, avoid at all costs.

Auto bei Ikea sprang nicht an wegen leerer Batterie. Pannendienst hat ganze 3,5 Std gebraucht!! Und ist sogar wieder umgedreht als ich telefonisch gesagt habe, dass ich nicht mehr vor Ort bin und den Schlüssel bei Ikea abgegeben habe (Zentralverriegelung funktioniert nicht bei leerer Batterie). I booked a van through the “Hertz 24/7” app and got a confirmation, but at pickup the app suddenly demanded a €2,500 insurance deposit and froze, even with valid cards. Support was unreachable, leaving me stuck with IKEA items and no car. They also refused a refund despite the app issue. Terrible service—avoid this company.

0 Sterne!!!!!!! Die schlechteste Dienstleistung die ich je gebucht habe. In der Buchungszeit war das Fahrzeug nicht zur Verfügung. Wir standen mit einer großen Palette Möbeln und einem kleinen Kind vor Ikea bei 0°C. Keine Hotline zur Verfügung. Über WhatsApp Chat antwortet nur eine KI immer das selbe. Nach ca. einer halben Stunde habe ich wohl mit einem "Mitarbeiter" geschrieben. Empfehlung war die Bestellung zu stornieren und anderen Standort zu suchen. Mit einer vollen Möbelpalette??!?! Der nächste Standort ist min. 20 km entfernt. Schließlich wurde von dem "Unternehmen" meine Buchung storniert. Ich möchte auf die nicht erbrachte vertragliche Leistung hinweisen! Ich werde mit diesem Unternehmen nie wieder was zutun haben. Wenn die Fahrzeuge genauso gut sind wie der Service und Kundendienst, dann gute Nacht!

They changed the location of the collection point at the last minute. Requiring a change of plan. Getting in the vehicle was fairly straightforward. But once out and about, the immobiliser wouldn't deactivate, and the app kept freezing. There is no number to contact customer service. It is all app-based. Fine when it is working. When I eventually got through to chat after about 10 attempts. They clearly reset the van at their end. I raised a complaint as I lost 1.5 hours of usage of the van messing about trying to contact them. Customer service via email post-event is useless. They keep asking for the same info. Don't seem to acknowledge the issue. Queried why I didn't call the breakdown number on the day . The van itself was immobilised not broken down. If I had called breakdown they would have directed me to the chat anyway. Avoid using them. Get a local van from a company with an office, staff and some customer service. It may cost a bit more but you'll have peace of mind!!

Hired a van last night for 2 hours to move a piece of furniture. Went to load and couldn’t open van through app. Tried to call. Don’t take calls. Tried to open app and contact app for assistance kept freezing. Eventually got logged in and told me to switch off Bluetooth and switch on after 10’attempts. So a 1 hour job took 3 hours because of no way of finding resolution. Customer service shocking and cost me £83’for £35 hire. Do not use

I tried to book a van for 12 o’clock on Sunday, I didn’t get any confirmation email and the app was showing no bookings, I tried 3 times to pay but with no luck, it was only at night I checked my bank to see they have taken £94 3 times from my bank, I obviously contacted them on the live chat to find out I had apparently booked a van 3 times for different times of the day !!! Which was obviously completely crap, they said they would be keeping my money and I’d recieve no refund, they can clearly see I’ve not used any van they just want to scam money from you, I am going through my bank to try seek the money bank , this company is a complete joke please avoid at all costs do not use them, the app and live chat are a waste of time. As I am writing this they say I have a booking for 8:30 which is completely wrong as the app is telling me I’ve no bookings , I’ve got all the screenshots to proof that , waste of space avoid

Wir haben vor ein paar Tagen über Ikea bei Hertz 24/7 einen Transporter angemietet und auch schon vorbezahlt. Heute um 10uhr standen wir dann mit unseren Click und Collect Regalen von Ikea auf deren Parkplatz, aber vom Transporter war Fehlanzeige. Über ne Dreiviertel Stunde stritten wir uns mit dem KI WhatsApp Chat, einen Kundenservice in Form von echtem Personal war Fehlanzeige. Wir erreichten nur, dass wir wohl hoffentlich unser schon gezahltes Geld wieder erhalten, einen Wagen gab es für heute nicht! So konnten wir den Kram in unserem Auto eng gestapelt mitnehmen und waren stocksauer auf diesen Sch…haufen von Saftladen hier!!!

I can compare to the same service provided in Lithuania, called CityBee. It's flawless in comparison to Hertz!
Very disappointed. I used the Hertz24/7 van rental service at B&Q, parked exactly where the vans are located, and still received unfair private parking fines from Total Parking Solutions/ZZPS. Despite showing proof of legitimate Hertz rentals, I’ve been harassed with escalating charges. B&Q and Hertz should warn customers or ensure their parking system doesn’t penalize genuine users.

Transporter für Möbelabholung (Komlettküche) bei Ostermann/Treds über die Seite von Ostermann/Treds angeboten, über den Link zu Hertz-Autovermietung abgewickelt und bestellt. Der Transporter stand nicht wie vertraglich bestätigt/vereinbart und bezahlt am angegebenen Standort. Die Ware/Küche wurde bereits im Abhollager Ostermann/Trends in Witten ausgeliefert, bzw. von uns auf dem "Parkplatz" geschoben, jedoch fehlte der gebuchte und bezahlte Transporter zur Überführung von der Fa. Hertz. Nach umständlicher Kommununikation über Whatsapp mit Hertz, wurde uns mitgeteilt, "Wir wünschen Ihnen einen schönen Abend", womit das bereits gebuchte und bezahlte Fahrzeug nicht zur Verfügung gestellt wurde. Wir standen nun mit unseren Möbeln auf dem Parkplatz von Ostermann/Trends, ohne jegliche Möglichkeit, die Möbel an seinen Bestimmungsort zu transportieren.
Ostermann/Trends sollte sich genau überlegen, einen solchen unzuverlässigen Mietwagenverleiher überhaupt noch als angeblichen "Partner" zu bewerben. Schlechter geht ein Service für Kunden von Ostermann/Treds nicht, wenn der beworbene Mietwagen über Hertz, dem "Partner" von Ostermann/Trends, nicht zur Verfügung gestellt wird, obwohl eine bestätigte Anmietung bestanden hat. Sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung, womit wir in Zukunft auf zuverlässigere Unternehmen zurück greifen müssen.

Ich hatte Anfang Oktober für den 8.11. einen Transporter für einen Umzug gemietet. Am 3.11. wurde mir zunächst um 10:01:54 Uhr eine Bestätigung über die Stornierung meiner Bestellung mitgeteilt (ohne das ich etwas veranlasst hatte). Um 10:02:28 Uhr wurde mir in einer zweiten Email mitgeteilt, dass das von mit reservierte Fahrzeug aufgrund eines Ausfalls leider nicht zur Verfügung stehen würde. Ich könnte an einem anderen Standort nach einer Alternative schauen.
Für so ein kundenunfreundliches Verhalten (die Firma hat so viele Standorte hier im Norden, da könnte sie locker einen Wagen von einem anderen Standort holen) seitens Hertz 24/7 habe ich keinerlei Verständnis und werde sicherlich nie wieder dort einen Wagen mieten.
Zum Glück konnte ich noch kurzfristig über den ADAC für den Umzugstermin 8.11.2025 bei Sixt einen Transporter mieten.

Ich kann eigentlich gar keinen Stern vergeben. Der Kundenservice ist unterirdisch und die Strafzahlung bei Überschreitung der Mietzeit ist unverhältnismäßig teuer. Bearbeitungsgebühr ebenfalls. Es wird alles über die App gesteuert! Allerdings hat man keinerlei Hilfe, sollten Probleme auftreten.
Finger weg. Lockangebote und dann knallharte Abzocke wenn Unregelmäßigigkeiten entstehen!

Incredibly bad. The App completely misread all Driving License Information telling me I’m under age, can only drive automatic cars, my driving licence is non European. All completely rubbish. I have a licence to drive nearly everything on the road and have had since I was 18. Most of the reviews I can see are terrible for Hertz 24/7 so thankfully I shall be going elsewhere.

Betrügerische Vorgehensweise seitens Hertz 24/7. Rechnung wurde falsch ausgestellt. So wurde eine kostenpflichtige Reduzierung des Selbstbehalts in Rechnung gestellt. Diese Leistung habe ich aber nicht in Anspruch genommen. In Summe wurde so die Ersparnis meiner im Vergleich zur geplanten Nutzungzeit reduzierten Mietdauer wieder eingetrieben. Hertz behauptet, ich hätte die Reduzierung des Selbstbehalts nach Vertragsabschluss via App zugebucht, d.h. unmittelbar nach Austellen des Mietvertrags, der digital gezeichnet wurde. Heißt, Mietvertrag um 12:26 via Mail erhalten und genau um 12:26 habe ich laut Hertz die Bonusoption gebucht. Ist schon klar.

Finger weg! Ein Stern ist einer zu viel!

Absolut nicht mehr empfehlenswert.
Es werden willkürliche Beträge in Rechnung gestellt und der Support ist wenig hilfreich bzw. tätigt Falschaussagen.

I had prearranged for a van rental, everything seemed fine. When I arrived I noticed straight away that the tire was flat.
The app had no contact information or chat option so I had to use website chat to communicate with hertz. Long story short, after 1.5 hours and 3 chats that were ended by the operator mid sentence and no information of what and when I can expect something to happen, they have cancelled my booking . No confirmation or nothing .

Oh and one chat they messaged me in Italian with weird number that didn't work, it took them 10 mins to kindly reply in English and simply saying call road assistance.
