Hackney & Leigh Estate Agents Arvostelua

As if the Keswick housing market wasn’t toxic enough, having to deal with these vultures only compounds the issue! Informed that our offer was acceptable (subject to proof of funds) we were left in the dark whilst another viewing was conducted and offer made to match our own. Rather than give us an opportunity to respond or complete the proof of funds, Hackney and Leigh advised the vendor to accept the other offer there and then. Clearly only interested in snapping up their commission rather than allowing the extra 24 hours it took to prove that we were ready to proceed immediately also. Any wonder locals are forced out of the market by supposed “cash buyers”, I don’t buy it - the property will be a holiday let in no time and yet another family home will be lost by the community- shameful.

Very professional service, thanks for all you help selling our family holiday home. 😀

Kendal Branch - Purchasing a residential property. Misleading, poor comms and blatant lies. Avoid if possible, otherwise you'll end up homeless and considerably less money in your bank account. There are plenty of other good estate agents out there, use them instead!

Excellent service from the team at Penrith. Thank you for your help in my recent purchase in Culgaith.

I have used Hackney and Leigh twice in the last 7 years, I am very impressed by the sales team, they are great communicators, very proffesional, they know how to look after their customers, all in all a fab experiance in both buying and selling of my property, Thanks all, I look forward to using Hackney and Leigh in the future,
Regards Alan

Fantastic company who were attentive and communicative beyond the call of duty! Genuinely lovely people who care about your sale and your buyer, not just their commission. No surprise that they have won estate Agent of the Year awards in the class.

Used to market and sell my property. Did a very good job in presenting the property online/brochure. Communicated clearly throughout the sale. Well recommended.

I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Hackney & Leigh as an excellent hard-working team of estate agent professionals. I’ve used them in the past for buying and selling.

Exceptional service from start to completion
Simon was professional and efficient.
Would not hesitate to use again.
Highly recommend
5 Star service.

As a buyer I found Hackney and Leigh to be professional throughout the purchasing process. All staff were very approachable, efficient, friendly and helpful. Viewings were undertaken as agreed, the booking and reminder service working effectively.
Other requests were dealt with promptly and nothing was too much trouble.
Thank-you.

We have recently sold and bought a property through Hackney and Leigh, Windermere sales office. Excellent, friendly, informative, professional service from start to finish. We mainly dealt with Sonia, Charlie, Nicole and Mike and we couldn’t have been happier with how things were handled and how helpful they were. Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to buy or sell in the Windermere area.

Brilliant group of estate agents, especially the Windermere branch. As buyers from out of area (east sussex) our experience has been of a lovely, supportive office and caring agents giving full details of the property and area it's located in. Very honest in their information and even suggested a whatsapp viewing as we live far away. Can't say thank you enough.

I highly recommend Hackney & Leigh - they provide a wonderful service, and are professional, efficient, thorough and friendly. Thanks particularly to Sonia, Charlie and Ben for a job excellently done. I would not hesitate to use the Windermere office again :)

Unfortunately a dreadful experience from start to finish.
Applied for a flat 4.5 years ago and paid the deposit they then came back to say the owner had now decided he didn’t want us.
We were then offered a property elsewhere and have had the most awful time with a landlord, we have been threatened, harassed and bullied out of our home, now we are having a fight over deposit, things wear out over time and Hackney and Leigh seem to feel I’m responsible for that, I’ve paid over £25000 in rent and never been late, sure there’s a couple of things I’m happy to take responsibility for but my back was instantly put up with the way we were addressed by email, horrible rude and unprofessional.

Excellent service throughout the purchase process, staff very helpfully and accommodating to all our requests. Would definitely recommend.

I bought the property through H&L and sold it through H&L 18 years later. They were very helpful when I was the buyer and very efficient when I was the seller. They produced a fantastic brochure and an amazing video of the property. Had two Saturday's of viewings and went to full and final offer the following Wednesday. I cannot praise H&L highly enough and would definitely recommend. Thank you very much for all your hard work.

Sale achieved in minimal time without fuss.
Tonia was very on the ball & helpful in all respects.

Helpful, friendly and efficient. Job well done.
Thanks.

There is nothing to fault with the Agents. From Start to Finish and Moving inn was exceptional and dealt with in a very Professional Manner. After service also excellent.
Nothing to complain about. Very Happy Tenant 😊
On

When letting agents are so bad both landlord and tenant will be at risk of abuse
So sick that such people can be in positions of trust Difficult to know how they can sleep
The one saving grace is Karma bad deeds will always come back in some form
