Anne-Marie has been incredibly helpful throughout my experience as a tenant. She is always approachable, professional, and willing to listen to any questions or concerns I may have. I genuinely feel that I am listened to and taken seriously whenever I speak with her, which has made a real difference.

She communicates clearly, follows up on matters promptly, and consistently goes above and beyond to provide support when needed. It is reassuring to know that there is someone reliable and understanding to turn to.

As estate agents go, this one doesn’t disappoint. The majority of buyers and renters will no doubt share this view.
My partner and I experienced all the problems that like minded people share - lack of understanding, empathy, communication, commitment, and more importantly trust.
Needless to say, without boring you all with the finite details, we eventually pulled out at a cost to our purses and our sanity.

Absolutely appalling experience from start to finish.

From the very beginning, there was a complete lack of organisation and accountability. We paid a holding deposit on a property and then heard nothing for over a month. After repeatedly chasing for updates, we eventually discovered that the staff member who had taken our payment had left the branch and no one had taken responsibility for our case. We were left in limbo and had to constantly follow up ourselves just to get basic communication.

It then took a further three months to finalise the tenancy agreement. We only ended up signing it after the tenancy start date had already passed. The delays, confusion and lack of proactive communication were beyond frustrating.

To make matters worse, at the end of the tenancy they attempted to charge us over £1,000 in so-called “damages” that had been clearly documented in their own inventory report prior to our move-in. There was no proper breakdown of costs, just a lump sum with no clear justification. We challenged this through with an independent adjudicator which ruled entirely in our favour. They also commented on how poorly prepared and unprofessional the end-of-tenancy report was, noting mismatched labelling and a lack of clarity throughout.

This branch demonstrated repeated incompetence, poor communication and a complete absence of ownership. I would strongly advise anyone considering using them to think twice. There are far more professional and reliable agents out there

We had a very good experience at Haart, working with Molly Nolan. She was always available and responsive, ensuring all our questions were answered quickly. Molly was very patient in showing us great property options and was incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process.

My experience with Haart Guildford will be coming to an end as soon as my present tenants decide to move on. I have been with Haart Guildford branch for over two years to begin with as fully managed property let's but after sacking them for incompetence on the management side I remained with them for rent collection although I regret that decision too and will move on as soon as I'm able to.

The management side was a disaster but as I've already posted a long Google review outlining my experiences I will just comment here on the rent collection side.

It's costly as in 7% + VAT for Haart to basically collect rent and send it on and chase any late or missing rent. Sounds simple enough, I thought they couldn't irritate me with such basic function but sadly I was wrong.

If rent is late they haven't once contacted me to reassure they know about it and are chasing. Every time their has been an issue I as owner have to chase Haart and most times they seem unaware that money hasn't been forwarded or there is a problem.

9 days ago I had a new tenant moved into a property and I've still not received rent payed by tenant to myself. I have chased and been given false promises then the branch manager on day 8 emailed me to inform me it will be 3 to 5 days more. Absolute joke, they blamed the tenant for not placing an address with the payment but even though they sorted this after 2 days of tenant moving in they still haven't released monies to the landlord.

Always poor communication from this office and passive aggressive almost rude responses if they bother to respond at all which 9 out of 10 times they just ignore.

Can take days to get through on the phone and usually when you do they say they will pass it on and you never hear anything again.

Last time a set of tenants moved out and I requested a small amount of deposit for cleaning issues, Haart tried to add on an additional £75 charge to the tenant for themselves. The tenant rang me and we sorted things out privately so they didn't have a charge from Haart which incidentally according to the tenants Haart told them that was the amount I was demanding.

Quite frankly all I have received from Haart is shoddy poor service and high costs. They are terrible at communicating, rarely engage competent trades, zero checking and the stress of dealing with them is not worth ever considering using this office. You may complain but nothing seems to get better or change.

Both Molly and Victoria are the two most helpful and patience individuals within the world of estate agents, as were the Haart staff in general. They elevated any stress and concerns by supporting the renting process with a friendly reassurance that I have never had elsewhere whilst interacting in the complicated rental process. Both were exceptional, with a sensitivity a humanity and empathic approach. It would appear that Haart lettings have values that are caring in nature, we need more interactions like this in our everyday - if there were more stars to give I would triple them for Molly and Victoria . I highly recommend that Haart hold on tightly to these two employees.

Having decided to put my house up for sale . I thought I'd shop around to see who looked the best to sell the house .One of the agents I called was Haart but they couldn't value the house for over a week because the valuer was on holiday. So we agreed not to proceed . Four phone calls later I explained I would review on Trustpilot if they keep harassing me . Well here we are still getting phone calls each time I try to explain I've got an estate agent they agree then two days later they ring again. I don't think I would ever recommend or use haart for anything .

Would highly recommend Sanjay and his team : completely satisfied with their great service .

I am a landlord and have recently communicated with Sanjay the Senior Property Manager. He is very helpful, diligent and a good communicator. I am more than impressed with his skills and abilities. He is an exceptional asset to the company.

The worst agency I would never recommend. The let me to stay without toilet 1 month and after they come and fixed finally after 3 days become broken again, I have had enough.

Recently viewed a property with Haart Estate Agents. JJ was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about the property and was very professional and friendly.

I have recently moved from Dover back to Haslemere to a property managed by the Guildford Office. In my dealings with Haart I was dealt with by Melis and Toby. I cannot fault either of them in any way, and have now happily moved back to Haslemere

They were professional , helpful and upbeat. Despite issues arising with regards to the property that was beyond their control, they quickly resolved these without fuss in order to ensure that my move in date was kept to.

I am really pleased with Haart and would use them again. I would recommend them as a letting agent

Thank you very much to Kyle Fisher and Lee Anson for being super helpful last week with my search for a new house letting. They took the time to discuss houses that would suit my needs and my cats and also showed me a property on the weekend as I could not make it during the week!

The best agents fool and rob people with their hard-earned money. We recently let one of the properties through, which was full of mould. I have requested that they work on them and get the same fixed, but it's been almost 20 days and the resolution is still pending. We are a family of four, including two kids, and just because of this, the kids are not able to move into this property and stay with us. They sugarcoat things and promise you excellent service, but eventually, after sales, they deny that it's their maintenance department that would be looking after the issue. I would not recommend anyone to let through Haart. The agony we have been put through is hard to describe in words, as is the pain of not being able to stay with our kids( as they are not in the country and we are waiting for this issue to be resolved to move them in.) Please think a ton before even walking into their office in Guildford.
