We had an issue over the company SMS who install smart meters. We put it into the hands of Good Energy (who have been our electricity and gas suppliers for very many years) and Donna fielded our complaint and dealt with it superbly.

I contacted customer service - Linda was there to help very quick and efficient with my questions.
Sorted out quickly everything. All I can say I would recommend Good Energy.

5 star review for Steve who helped resolve a 5 year outstanding issue with a disconnected meter. Have removed 1 star because the issue went on for so long but Steve resolved it in a matter of weeks when he took it over.

Can't fault Good Energy on our solar install. Ours was an in-roof system, which is more involved than a standard on-roof setup, and they handled it brilliantly. It took a few visits and they coordinated seamlessly with the roofing team throughout.

Special mention to Pete and Enock, who were fantastic from start to finish. On one visit I couldn't be there in person, and they were more than happy to talk everything through over the phone and keep me in the loop. They didn't just fit the panels and leave; they took the time to explain the system, offered genuinely useful advice, and made sensible recommendations tailored to our roof and our energy use rather than just pushing a one-size-fits-all package.

The finished job is spot on — tidy, well thought through, and clearly done by people who take pride in their work. Highly recommend them to anyone considering solar.

Excellent rates, british customer service staff in the UK, fast service. After the complete disaster & overcharging of British Gas (£3500 for 5 months service) I now pay £100 per month with this fabulous company.

Recently set my FIT account up with Good Energy. I called up to enquire initially and the team were very helpful and all was set up with no issues and I received speedy email replies each time (thanks to Rachel C and Craig). As it had been a while since the previous account holder had verified the meter my account was put on hold and my image was not accepted on the app - I called up and spoke with Linda who emailed me whilst on the phone so I could supply the image. She quickly verified my meter and removed the hold on my account. Thanks so much to the three team members mentioned - your customer service has been great!

We had an issue with the verification of our FIT meter. We were helped by various members on the help line, and were then quoted the wrong meter number, which was very frustrating.
We were getting close to the payment date and rang again.
Craig luckily picked up the telephone, understood the issue and said that he would resolve it, and that he would ring us back. Past experience told us that this was unlikely, but he did ring back, kept us abreast of what he was doing, resolved the problem, and rang back again. We really appreciated how well he dealt with us. It was a joy to find customer services with him, so helpful. Please thank him very much.

Had a good customer service experience with Good Energy today. My call was answered in a few rings by Alyssia (no waiting in queues, no 100 questions from bots to “direct my call”) who spoke perfectly English and was very easy to understand, very polite and helpful. My issue (FIT meter registration) was quickly resolved in a few simple steps with no fuss. All complete in a few minutes (not hours) with no being passed back and forth between different departments. The best customer service call I’ve had in more years than I care to remember.

Ross was great when surveying for our solar panel install and made things very easy to understand.

The entire team were fantastic throughout the install despite some intense temperatures which must have made work hard. We also had a slightly challenging cabling route but they handled it well (other suppliers had said no). Luke, Tyler, Cayden and Ashton were neat and tidy and incredibly polite and answered any questions we have. Also putting up with an over friendly pup. The panels and battery are great and we haven’t had any issues. Tyler even helped us with our EV charger and talking to POD point to get a software update pushed through. Great service and would highly recommend.

The heat had warped our bird mesh slightly and they sent someone out to fix very quickly. The team are always responsive. Thank you!
