Very rushed! But the night tour had such filthy windows, you literally couldn't get a view or photo. Don't take this one. 90ish tour, was 69 minutes

booked tickets for Wednesday 5th August 2026for myself and my daughter.
When buying the ticket options were 24, 48 or 72 hours, I selected 24.
We left King’s Cross on the morning on the red route and then crossed to the orange route to go to Harrods, following this we then waited over 45 minutes for a bus without any coming, I tried messaging golden tours and was told to email which I did, however I got a bounce back email to state they would try to answer within 10 days. I then phoned but wasn’t given much assistance. Following this I had to use a public bus and pay the fare for us both to Marble Arch, we then got a bus from there with the intention of going round to Leicester Square but on our arrival at Kings Cross at 5.10pm we were told the bus terminated there but another would be along in 10 minutes which we could get on. We waited, as did others from our bus, when it arrived this then also terminated and we were informed that all buses were now terminating and we would be unable to travel further.
This meant I have then had to pay extra bus fares for us both for another 2 journeys, a total of 6 x fares on top of what I had already paid for 24 hours travel and sightseeing. However the reality is the travel was 9-5 which equates to 33% of the advertised and sold, as we also had to wait almost an hour for a bus before paying this lessens the percentage of availability even more.
To say I am extremely disappointed with the service is an understatement and I feel this was misrepresented and mis-sold and in fact cost me even more on the day as I had to supplement this by paying for other transport.

Overall, I had a good experience and was satisfied with the service. However, I think charging £60 for the option of a flexible return ticket is overpriced. It was also not clearly communicated beforehand that this would be an additional cost, which was disappointing. A more reasonable fee, with clearer information about the additional charge, would make this option much more attractive to customers.

Well organised and punctual! Abz was our driver, who was patient and capable, getting us there safely and back. Wei, our guide, was knowledgeable, friendly, and full of witty anecdotal stories. We followed her yellow umbrella like ducklings as she led us on a tour of the Oxbridge universities. Thoroughly enjoyed!

Our VIP-transport to and from the Harry Potter Studio Tour was very good, we had a lovely time. Communication, service and information by Golden Tours has been amazing!

Very disappointed. After Blue line , we've taken the Red line and no-one told us that the last stop will be at St. Pancras until we got there. So when we arrived at St. Pancras the driver announced that we have to drop off the bus and the next bus witch was coming next will take as . Guess what? The next bus driver said that it was the last stop for her and we all have to find our way back through the train or underground... This is not the way to treat some visitors who maybe have never been to London. It is like you are in a City that you have never been and take a taxi for a ride, pay for the ride and the taxi driver drop you off in the middle of the trip and tell you that his working hours has finished and he can't take you to your requested address... This is very frustrating and very disappointing.

Boarding was really well organised, efficient and quick. Tour left on time.

The Goldentours website is so poor when trying to buy tickets where you expressly ask for the 72 hour pass, it doesn't show it when purchasing, only 48hours with free 24 hours. I kept going on chat to explain what was going on for hours trying to do it.
Yet when you go on chat, they state it was 48 hours only.
They have lost my business which was a few times a year for 2 people

We had Stefan and Ahmedz. They were truly amazing during the tour. Stefan was always helpful with guidance. He kept us well entertained - lively and hooked with his stories about the history of Warwick, Startford Upon Avon and Oxford. Ahmedz was a good driver throughout the tour. The weather was exceptionally hot so the vehicle had good air conditioning. In the end i had an amazing experience. Give both of them a pay rise. I wish I had cash with me at the time to give them a tip. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Booked the "Here we go again" afternoon tea bus for part of my besties 60th birthday. Very easily located and the bus was very clean and decorated beautifully. Reserved seats on the top deck and we were sat at the very front. The refreshment choices were fantastic and we had the nicest Prosecco to drink. The sandwich selection was extremely good as well as the little desserts. The scone was delicious and came with jam & proper thick cream. Good choice of hot drinks too. We also got sunglasses and a fan, which was a god send, as it was a hot day!! Abba songs were played throughout and everyone sang along..... absolutely fantastic atmosphere. Our host was super friendly and very professional. Can't wait to book another trip.

No clear instructions to get into, only a gate letter no road name or saying it’s side of palace
No photos allowed, parts boarded up due to renovations, which should’ve been explained before ticket purchase - I would not of gone if known that before paying out for ticket very disappointed

Afternoon Tea Cruise on the River Thames
Overall, our experience was only ok. We were a group of 11 people, and we had called to inquire about the dress code as the voucher tickets indicated no shorts or trainers and we didn't know what trainers were. Our hotel staff had mentioned that they were tennis shoes/sneakers and so we were concerned as many in our group only had sneakers. I called Golden Tours and they said they weren't sure if it would be enforced and so we took a chance hesitantly to take a taxi to the river boat. Upon arrival we inquired with a staff member, and they apparently did NOT have any dress code. Everyone in line was not dressed properly; there were sneakers, shorts, and even tank tops. We were quite disappointed in the enforcement of the attire. In addition, the entry staff for this cruise didn't even check our tickets to see if our large group had them. This also happened on the hop on/off tour, no one checked our tickets which we thought was strange.
As far as the tea experience itself, the food and tea were great, however, the staff was not friendly at all and not welcoming. We were a large group and the experience felt like everyone was just going through the motions. No real explanation of how it would work and what to look for in the menu. Also, the tour guide on the microphone was the same exact gentlemen that we heard the day before with the same exact message on the One Way River Cruise tour that we paid for with the group Hop on/off package we purchased, so felt a little redundant for the experience.

We took the bus to WB Harry Potter. The staff was very polite and helpful. The bus departed on time. The bus was modern and clean, had AC.
Harry Potter film was playing on the individuell screens. We got airplugs from the staff and the sound was good.
A hassel free way to Get to the WB Harry Potter Studio.
Highly recommending.

Absolutely wonderful experience! While the tour itself is similar to others, the attention to detail and service were far above my expectations. The selection of food and drinks is quite varied and very filling -I didn’t even need to have dinner afterwards! It was definitely worth it!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Golden Tours! My group recently booked the Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Cotswolds, and Warwick Castle tour, and it was brilliantly organised from start to finish.
A special mention must go to our wonderful tour guide and driver, who were both absolute professionals. Our driver was highly skilled, courteous, and navigated the roads safely, making us feel completely at ease throughout the entire journey. Furthermore, the driver went above and beyond by diligently cleaning the coach every single time we stepped off for an excursion. It meant we always returned to an absolutely spotless and refreshing environment! Meanwhile, our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and friendly. They offered brilliant insights and history at every stop, ensuring the whole group was well looked after and entertained.
Finding the departure point at Bulleid Way in Victoria was very straightforward. The coach itself was modern and supremely comfortable, and the onboard Wi-Fi was absolutely brilliant—the internet worked flawlessly the entire time without any drops in connection. The booking process was also highly efficient and offered great value. I highly recommend this tour and this exceptional team for anyone looking for a seamless, perfectly clean, and memorable day out from London!

Wasn’t much of a tour more like just sitting in a bus eating some food. We hardly saw the staff and when we did, some weren’t particularly friendly nor helpful. I booked the lower deck sitting for 2 children and 2 adults hoping we could sit together but we were separated as told there wasn’t enough sitting for us to be sat together and were expecting my elderly mother to go up to the upper deck. Definitely not worth the money l paid and l will not be recommending to anyone!

Our tour guide Kelvin and driver Lucian were wonderful, they really brought the energie and made out experience memorable. The stones were beautiful!
