The visit to Warner Brothers studios…
The visit to Warner Brothers studios itself was fantastic. Although good to get a direct bus the bus was not an “experience” in itself. No commentary, or anything interactive. We had a very glitchy screen on the way there, and nothing on the way back. We plan to revisit the studios but will investigate our own transport next time.

Absolutely disgusting treatment from every person I encountered.
I accidentally booked a Harry Potter Tour for myself and my husband for 2 September instead of today (9 September). We were not even in the country on 2 September as we only landed here from South Africa on 3 September.
We arrived today for the 11:00 bus to the Harry Potter studios (still believing we had booked for day). As soon as the host realised the error, he literally pushed us away from the bus and told the driver to leave. I was still trying to process what has happened when he shut the door in my face and drove off.
I literally burst into tears as this was not a small amount of money for me and we had been looking forward to it for ages.
I called the customer care line and was also immediately dismissed, saying that we were a “no show” last week and there is nothing they can do to refund or reschedule the tickets.
I understand the refund policy however this is a very unique situation - I can even provide proof that we only flew in from South Africa on 3 September. However the absolute lack of caring, compassion or desire to assist or meet me half way was absolutely disgusting.
I have since also learned that you can book directly with Warner Brothers to see the studio at half the price - and they actually treat you like a human being and not like trash.
I will NEVER use Golden Tours again. Money hungry and rude!!!

As the Harry Potter Studio Tour operates under specific terms and conditions set by the studios, we are required to abide by these when managing bookings. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds or reschedule tickets where a booking has been made for the incorrect date and the visit is subsequently missed. We appreciate that this is not the outcome you were hoping for and sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.

"Return Time: Approximately 2:30pm in Victoria or Gloucester Road (Kensington), subject to traffic conditions."
As advertised, the tour may conclude at either Victoria or Gloucester Road, depending on operational requirements and traffic conditions on the day.

My daughter and I went to Warner Bros Studios Harry Potter and it was AWESOME. I highly recommend the flexible return.

Misleading "Flexible Return" and Hidden Extra Charges
Extremely misleading booking process and hidden extra charges.
When booking on their website, you are only prompted to choose your departure time, with zero option to select or even see an assigned return time. The voucher even states "Flexible Return: The last departure from the Studio to London is 8pm."
However, they automatically assign an early return bus for you behind the scenes without your input. When we wanted to take a later coach so we could actually spend enough time enjoying the tour, they forced us to pay an extra £15 just to get on a later bus.
Charging customers hidden fees for a "flexible return" they never allowed you to schedule in the first place is terrible practice. Completely opaque system—be prepared for surprise fees if you don't want to be rushed through your visit.

My family and I had a brilliant experience with Golden Tours. I had to move the date twice due to health problems, and the changes were done quick, fuss-free and by people who actually understood what I was asking. The Afternoon Tea bus is gorgeous, so well looked after, clean, everything very safe and no plates slipping on us as we were scared it would happen. The driver was smooth and the hostess Sunmi was the sweetest! My parents had the regular afternoon tea and my fiance and I had the vegan one. The vegan sandwiches were so good! Way better than we expected! The sweets were great too, it surprised us that the vegan version was as good as the Omni version. The route is beautiful and I can’t recommend it enough.

Golden Tours: priced, leading, and professional
Absolutely terrible service from Golden Tours. I paid over £700 for a private MPV for 4 people, only to be shocked with a 35-seater bus on the day—without any prior notice or agreement. Then they added extra pickup/drop-off charges after booking. I complained and they simply ignored me. Overpriced, misleading, and completely unprofessional. Avoid Golden Tours.

Following a review with our Transport Team, we can confirm that an MPV was originally allocated to your booking. Unfortunately, on the day of travel, the vehicle developed a technical issue and had to be taken out of service. To avoid delays and ensure your transfer could proceed as scheduled, our controller arranged for the same driver to attend in a larger 35-seater coach. While the vehicle had a higher capacity, the transfer remained completely private and was not shared with any other passengers.
We understand that the substitution was not what you had expected. When you chose not to travel in the coach, our team worked to source an alternative MPV through a partner provider, despite limited availability at the time. As a result, your transfer was ultimately completed in an MPV.
Regarding the pricing, the booking was made with a pickup address located outside the Central London pricing zone, and the fare was calculated accordingly. We can also confirm that no additional payment was requested or collected by the driver on the day.

The tours to st pauls cathedral are not tours as they are run by volunteers. There may be weddings on the day or other events which may li.it your experience. Do not give grief to the volunteers because you booked a tour round. You have'nt just the entry fee to get in.

Windsor Castle Tour
I am highly disappointed with Golden Tours regarding our Windsor Castle trip. We rang customer service this morning to see if we could possibly change our booking to tomorrow. This request was made because St George’s Chapel is closed on Sundays—a critical piece of information that the agent completely failed to mention when we purchased our tickets. Visiting the chapel was a major reason for our trip, and being left in the dark about its Sunday closure ruined the experience for us.When I called to resolve this, the representative over the phone was completely unhelpful and simply stated that everything was already confirmed for today. He even tried to excuse it by telling me that if I check their website, it states that the chapel is closed on Sundays. I pointed out that we booked in person with an agent who sells their tours, so it was their responsibility to inform us at the time of purchase.I am actually on the bus right now, and there are only 14 people on this entire tour. Given how empty the coach is and the fact that the issue stemmed from their own agent's poor communication, the complete lack of flexibility is incredibly frustrating. Double-check all opening times yourself before booking, as this company will not give you the full picture or help you when they make a mistake.Also the bus does not return to back to Bulleid Way you have to disembark at Gloucester Road and told if you want to go back to where you boarded the bus you need to catch the train 3 stops and that is at a cost too. I questioned the bus drive why ??.His reply to this was this information is on your ticket but once again we bought our tickets through an agent and no information was provided or on our tickets. Everyone on the bus was very confused by this so obviously we are not the only ones that weren’t aware of this information.
Better off using a different bus company that is willing and able to give you all this information before you book.
