Garage Doors Fixed (GDF) Arvostelua

Felt rushed and under pressure to accept a quote- fixed cones and tightened torsion spring, £445!!!! Quote was given over the phone while engineer waited, felt intimidated and under pressure to accept, was given 3 different prices and charged a ridiculous price. Had to chase for a receipt. Cannot recommend due to the way this company operates.

Still waiting for my receipt, for work garantee

Excellent and very prompt service.
Very realistic price and very happy with the fix

This company went to my elderly parents for a faulty up and over garage door,a broken cable was the cause..they quoted £360 to fix.
I ordered the parts needed from Amazon for £10 and took me 10mins to fix...be careful

I scheduled an appointment in the morning, and the company told me I would be contacted when the engineer was on his way. I never received any updates, and he never showed up.

At the end of the day, I received a rude call from the engineer claiming he was outside my home (he wasn’t) and ready to quote for a new door. When I explained that the booking was for a repair, he simply hung up on me. A few minutes later, the office called to say they were running behind schedule and wouldn't be able to make it today.
Very poor customer service. I wasted an entire day waiting around. I trusted their positive reviews and expected far better, but I was sorely mistaken

Engineer very informative, explained what had happened and what he recommended,no mess and had completed work within a couple of hours. The price was reasonable I could not have done it on my own.

The man who came out was very courteous and fixed my garage door right away.

Very swift response (Ordered the repair late Sunday, Garage door repaired by Midday Monday). My only comment is that although OAP discount is available, the repair seems costly - However, it was much less than a replacement door!

Putting my garage door on very quickly and professionally no mess left around

Prompted response, no nonsense friendly good job done.

Fast and efficient service

We are very pleased with the repair great service and very quick a very helpful engineer understanding and friendly we would certainly use GDF in the future thanks Treve Weeks

I would love to get paid vast sums of money to stand in a garage and watch the door go up and down. Our door stopped working and my husband replaced the fuse. The lights came back on but the door would not operate. We called GDF and their engineer came. We explained what had happened and that we couldn't get the emergency cord back in. He pushed the cord in and then stood in the garage while the door reprogrammed itself. He was with us for no more than 10 minutes and charged us £153.02 for the privilege after negotiating a 20% discount! What an absolute rip off. Suffice to say we will not be recommending them or calling them in the future

Engineer turned up on time and understood the problem and partially resolved the issue to my satisfaction

The repair guy was really good and gave me a lot of information regarding the garage door operations. He also told me the doors were of top quality and they would last a long time.

My garage door wouldnt close properly one evening. I rang GDF and someone came out the next morning and repaired it. It now works well. Very pleased as it felt insecure not being able to close the garage.

Very friendly very professional very happy with the work.

Very good and professional. My only complaint is that the I found out after they arrived that they don’t stock the key I own, even though I was directed to their site on the basis of the key identification code. In the end, they fixed the major problem so that we have one working key, at least.

Communication was excellent. The man who came knew exactly what to do. He repaired my garage door quickly and there was no need to wait for parts he had everything there. He was very pleasant too.
