Fortem Arvostelua 

A few thoughts on my experience with these clowns:
-They don't turn up for
appointments, or are late. Other times they randomly just knock on the door multiple times expecting people to be in to allow access. If like me you suffer with anxiety, this is a nightmare. I informed the manager of this but took no notice.
- foreign workers have absolutely no people skills or manners. One in particular seemed annoyed when I needed to access my own wheelie bin, which he was resting tools on, and started swearing in polish, after I confronted him about it.
- workmanship is shoddy and rushed. Some of the workers are clueless and unskilled. On one occasion, after fitting a fan, one of the workers said he had to come back the day after at 12 to finish the job and never turned up or got in touch.
- absolutely no organisation whatsoever, which is not surprising.
- they don't respect people's properties, leaving rubbish and mud everywhere. You better not have any flowers or plants in your garden either, because they will be ruined.
I hope I never have to deal with these people again. All in all an awful experience. Avoid at all costs if possible!

Had 3 appointments with no shows as i qoute "the engineer has gone home sick" another where he turned up and said he couldnt change a diaphragm washer as he doesnt carry those parts its another engineer that does it and made some excuse to why he couldnt just nip to wicks,screwfix to get it ,said he will put it down in the notes only he didnt he put the job as complete and now iv been pushed back to mid january to do what he said is a "5 minute job"
Had some other work where the engineer was supposed to fix the tiles in the bathroom and overall looks like a child has done it not sealed not neat looks a state this company is a joke who has engineers who obviously dont care about thier work and reputation, how they are still afloat is beyond me.

Very very disgusting behaviour from the person who was driving this number plate vehicle KX19 MVR. He was parked outside my house and had seen us leave so he move his van in the morning to park outside my house when I had left. When I came back I couldn’t get to my property with out difficulty my son who can hardly walk was unable to get into the house without great difficulty. I had asked your employee if he could possibly move down the road as I’m trying to get my children and shopping and making sure my children are safe without having to cross the road to get into their house. Your employee was aggressive and abusive and racist towards me and my children. I was very frightened and intimidated by this man who started to get out of his vehicle too. Im not only really concerned with his aggressive and abusive and racial manner but the fact that he was actually representing Fortem? Why are your employees allowed to do this to residential customers who haven’t asked for this abuse in the first place? Why was I abused and racially attacked ? For him being parked outside my house and he couldn’t care less if my children needed to get into their house safely they were mortified and scared by this man to.He has now been here since 10.00am it’s now 5.00pm. He has also left the vehicle to go and chin wag with his other colleague who is parked at the other side of the road. Why is this type of person allowed to work on peoples properties?? Or around children ??? I have logged a police report and written an email to Fortem I want to see your response. My vehicle was bogged in the mud in the park because he took my parking space which resulted in my vehicle having to be towed? Who’s going to pay for that ??? Fortem ???

Damp and Mould Team-
I had these guys come in to sort my damp and mould ( which was horrendous)
Dan the supervisor is brilliant came every day to check on the work and to see if I was ok.
It was a big job and they kept the mess to a minimum as best they could.
Martin, Sophia and Mark did all the plastering, fantastic job done too, then several other workers came too to do painting and carpentry jobs, the rubbish was taken away every 2days until they was finished.
They told me every day what was being done and kept me updated with everything.
Great fantastic efficient team. Thank you all so much.

I have had the displeasure of waiting for a repair over a year now. I've had multiple supervisors come to "assess" the damage after a leak and they've barely done any work. They palm everything off to the local authority, ignore emails and phone calls. I'm going to solicitors now because it's been too long and I've been far too patient

12 months I’ve had appointments cancelled and put back. Leaking roof in entrance hallway. Catching water in a bucket. Mould now on ceiling. Absolutely disgusting. Had an appointment for December and put back AGAIN to January 2024! How do they get contracts is beyond me.

Boiler broken 5 days so far, promised a repair, their phone wasn't working, multiple attemps to contact them, they cancelled the repair, 2 severely disabled people one a severely disabled child left with no heating or hot water for what will now be at least a week in the bitter cold of winter and they were told very clearly how disabled the people were and how essential heating and hot water was for medical needs, absolutely disgusting treatment from Fortem the shocking disregard they have for the disabled.

They let tenants down continuously and try to charge fee because of there incompetence

Absolute disgrace how this company gets contracts is beyond me. site managers haven't got a clue, no planning no people skills, no one shows even after appointments have been made. Totally fed up to be honest and glad when they leave the area, the mess never gets cleaned up even after asking them. People who care apparently obviously not true.
West hull housing project.

After putting a new bathroom new kitchen in a vacant property underneath my flat ready for new tenants they then cleaned out my shed instead of the old tenants !!Took all of my own personal items and put a new door and locks on and left the shed that should of been emptied full of rubbish ! After been given the run around for 6 weeks now I have even sent a copy of the deeds confirming this shed is mine , still no further forward looks like we will have to go down other routes to get my property & personal items back absolute joke !!!!

1, New roof is constantly leaking when it rains and the beams in the loft are wet, Nails have been fired through in random sections and not into the actual beams and all just under the roof is exposed to the elements and not sealed at all.
2, The scaffolding that has been erected has one part pressed into the wall panel on the outside instead of being a set distance away.
3, The area above the porch that was removed has been replaced with plasterboard and a large section 5 inches wide by 1 metre in length has been left removed which is exposing all of the floorboards upstairs to the weather which is bad at the moment and is soaking the wood.
4, The new guttering which has been put in is not actually connected to any pipe work to run into the drain in 2 sections so there is just a hole.
5, The filler which was used to put the plasterboard in has ran into the internal part of the fascia and pushed it away warping the internal section.
6, An electrical cable which runs into the shed has been left held up by some rubber holding stuff.
7, Rubbish has just been left from the contractors including wood from the roof strew across the garden and nothing has been tidied up just left for us to sort out.

Fortem are the worst company that the NCHA has employed to fulfil maintenance contracts. They turn up to jobs not knowing what they are doing, they cancel the jobs because it's to big a job for the amount of people they have sent. I have been waiting almost a year to get some plastering work done on my staircase. The walls are literally crumbling under your fingertips. You can't attach banisters I have a disabled adult son who is scared to death to walk up the stairs. They are always full of excuses, staff sickness or not enough tradespeople. In the hands of a solictor and environmental health. Shame on you, you would not expect your family to live like we have too.

Excellent understanding engineers,took the extra step to help get my smart meter working again,polite and helpful.many thank after a stressful morning lads 5* aren't enough..

I've had three appointments scheduled over the last week, nobody showed up for two of them and the other was pointless - they sent one guy (who arrived late) to do my ceiling replacement. When he arrived he said "it's a full day's work for two people, we'll have to come back".
There has already been a string of visits to look at the job, but nobody actually equipped to do the work or or capable of doing it.
This job has been going on for almost 4 years and it's no nearer getting done.

A gentleman named Ismail came to repair the leaking bathtub drain which he did very efficiently, after having to go through the challenge of removing the bathtub side covering as well as the vanity side covering, and the work quality was excellent.

I had a job booked in this morning 27/09/23.
A guy wearing a fortem top turned up at around 08.15 no introduction, no id either on display nor offered
He was here supposedly with a plumber who apparently had had a puncture, understandable I have had a few in my time , but also an age old story when you want to get in to work late .
What I don't do is Lies, and B.S,first words are he was waiting for plumber who had the proverbial puncture
Came upstairs to look at the job? Asked what was wrong.
I told him the shower tray outlet pump needed some sort of a non return valve on the line as the pump was situated about 1/12 foot above the shower outlet.
Common sense tells you that if the pump is higher than the outlet then when pump is switched off the water lying in the pipe will return to it's Lowest point , i.e the shower tray,
He said then that he was going to put overalls on ( don't know why as his appearance was as a working person ) that was at 08.20,
It is now 10.42 and nothing seen nor heard of since ..
welcome to fortem repairs , unskilled labour, who have no clue on how to work nor the ability nor skill to do so ..

They miss appointments without notifying the customer. Then when they do turn up they rush around to complete the jobs at very lousy standards. Nothing will ever change with Lambeth, they seem to hire the worst contractors. Horrible.

I have been waiting for 2 year for this company to replace my back door and I am still waiting....The door is rotting so now there are holes in my door where mice are coming in...they have been to measure the door about 3 times...and still nothing, they send you a text out of the blue to say someone will be there in about 2mins ...not taking into consideration that people actually work not like them...please do not use this company..they have really impacted om my mental health..

Had an inspection from fortem mould team and trying to get this sorted for a long time the man that came Dan was amazing After his inspection he has sorted getting it all fixed and he so professional yet so down to earth I am very impressed with the new team at fortem and can't wait to have the work done
