Fortem have recently been dumped by Onward homes, thank god, sooo bad. Tell lies, do the bare minimum on repair Jobs Shoddy at best the whole lot of them. Such poor work and NO COMMUNICATION. No more Fortem thank god

Very greatful to have had my kitchen fan replaced by your electrician Courtney Yesterday. He was very professional and made sure the work was completed to a high standard, he went above and beyond to ensure the fan was installed same day!!! Please can Courtney be the assigned electrician for any future works in my flat

I'd give zero stars if I could. Any changes or cancellations to repair appointment are not conveyed effectively to tenants. I had an appointment booked for 5th February. They turned up on 27th Jan. I rebooked the appointment for the 12th February and nobody turned up. No telephone calls or text to advise of changes and repairs portal was down so couldn't check the status of the job. If cancellations or changes are made to existing appointments please call or text the tenant as we can't keep checking the portal on the off chance you have changed existing arrangements.

This company will NEVER be anymore than they have EVER been. DISGRACEFUL.

fortem employer did a great job at my house, I had mould and damp in the house they send an experienced builder he done very good job in the house, now no more mould or damp.

Ian the artex man was a joy very professional and clearly new what he was doing a quick and efficient job was done.

Very bad company. They don't attend the appointment. Poor workmanship.

This firm does not arrive for appointments, sends operatives that haven’t a clue what to do, have no conscience or professionalism. Don’t touch them with a barge pole.

They knocked on my door and said that they were replacing the tiles outside my house to stop a leak into the flat below. I said we hadn’t been told and they said that was typical rubbish Fortem, so even their staff don’t trust them.

They replaced six tiles, leaving big gaps, and two weeks later five of the six have come loose - I’ve had to remove them so no one falls down the stone steps. They also just left their rubbish, including a messy paintbrush at the bottom of the stairs. No help to the woman with a leak, and a death trap for any one coming up the stairs, but I’m sure they’ve been paid :)

Edit: Fortems have replied to this review to say that we should email them and they’ll resolve it ‘as soon as possible’. But I had emailed the customer care email address before I even logged this complaint and they still haven’t responded, so that seems to just be a way for them to publicly look like they’re taking complaints seriously.

There was a water leak in the kitchen and we had no Idea where it was originating from.
Repairman Don came on the day of the appointed date and at exactly at 8:00am!
Well after much dismantling of the kitchen cabinets the leak was found and repaired with a new pipe section.
Don cleaned up after himself reassembled the cabinets good as new. and was off.
Five stars Don was very neat and efficient. and he also cleared the door jam from the swollen wood front door. Don was very considerate, courteous good natured and knew what he was doing.

A Credit to Fortem’s workforce

3 months without gas no hot water no heating every time you get in touch with them they either don’t reply or send you back to the council shocking taking complaint further.My mental health is a very low at the moment they turn up when I’m at work do t arrange times with you pass you over to council then the council tells you to get intouch with them directly going roundin circles all should be sacked

Reviews say it all bunch of cowboys with no consideration for anyone “people who care” if they really cared why does 97% of work they do look like a 10 year old did i got pictures of proof do you employ people with qualifications? Looks to me like you employ any hoodrat to do jobs like plastering or bricklaying!!

I have damp and black mould in my flat. After many months Lambeth instructed fortem to visit 10am-2pm today. At 9.55am today fortem sent me a text saying the repair was complete. I phoned Lambeth at 10am (left a message with someone covering for the repairs team which were receiving too many calls) and again at 11.20am. Lambeth said fortem claimed to have visited the property today with no answer and also phoned me with no answer so marked the job as complete. I have screenshots of the “completed” message at 9.55am for a 10-2pm repair job, and also the call log on my phone to show no missed calls from fortem. This is the first scheduled visit for this job and I was in the flat all morning (9.15 to now online on my laptop can be shown via my work log).
I’d like fortem to ask the assigned engineer for my job what time they supposedly came (job was from 10am), what time they supposedly phoned and to see evidence of their phone log.
Fortem appear to have lied, so unless I see otherwise I consider them an untrustworthy contractor. I shall be writing to Lambeth with a formal complaint and as a leaseholder will look out for any future contract tenders where fortem are bidding. They should not be receiving tax payer money.

useless been complaining ever since work was done now they say time has allotted so not there responsibility now pathetic

Fortem were supposed to attend my property today to look at a complaint I made about mold in my front room. I called Lambeth twice to make sure they were still coming as they were late and I was assured fortem would attend. Out of the blue I received a message stating that my repair had been completed! However no one had attended my property. After a third call to Lambeth council, I discovered that not only had Fortem claimed that they attended my property, they also claimed that they had treated the mold and have photographs ! I’m still in disbelief as no one even turned up. I have 2 children with asthma, one is disabled and both under specialist immunology teams at hospital. The mold is still there, have fortem considered that the photos they claim to have won’t even match up to the decor in my property!

Numerous calls to fortem and messages left for a supervisor to ring back as to why I have not received my gas certificate this year, never had one last year either very disappointed, I should have a certificate, gas fire checked on 7th Nov 2023, numerous calls since and...nothing

Absolute worst company have been out twice to fix a joint leak on my guttering and it’s still leaking like a tap has been turned on each time they’ve been called out has been a gap of three weeks now they have to be called out again which is a third time to fix a simple guttering leak on a joint what an absolute joke. This company should not be trading and the workers are absolute inexperienced in my eyes.

Nathan & Vic at your Lambeth division were supposed to have fixed aleak in my roof and said they had 3 days ago but water is still running down my light bulb. I've tried calling them throughout today. One phone "switched off: and one always goes to messenger. I called your Hitchin head office and a woman said she would get a message to them to call but nothing. Because they can never give out any useful contacts I'm left with only their telephone numbers. This is unacceptable.
