My personal experience, ordered food for the first time yesterday from their app paid all the money in advance with credit card then the delivery time was not so bad but what got me was some of the ordered items were missing so you know the disappointment of eating incomplete food, i didn't know what to do so i wrote them e-mail for refund of items not delivered, waiting for their positive response but in any case not a good start with such bad experince, i am in condition where for few weeks my only choice is to order food like this but this got me really thinking twice before using food panda again.

Gave me a voucher to cover the cost of a meal I did not receive - but failed to explain this voucher could only be used once. So, following day made a small order and used the voucher, leaving most of voucher unused. When the voucher disappeared from my account, I was informed you can only use it once, so lost money. Customer service then failed to respond to my complaint, just coming back with the same line each time, telling me I could only use voucher once - have switched to Deliveroo

Food panda continue to reduce the number of restaurants to my area to the point of being ridiculous. Shake shack is 700 meters away and they won’t deliver. I now only have 5 restaurants I can have delivered to me despite being restaurants everywhere and Deliveroo willing to deliver from hundred. Bad tech limiting their own business opportunities.

Used foodpanda in Romania, they cancelled my order without contacting me. Sh** services, as they don't have any contact number I can call. Money taken and hungry

Bad app, rude drivers, food arrives cold and late... no surprise but terrible customer service too

Absolute fraud. Didn’t deliver food and refuse to give a refund. They said I cancelled the order at the last minute (I didn’t). I say they said with a lot of grace, as you can’t actually talk to their customer service and it’s a 24 hour wait for support tickets. Honestly if I wanted to deal with the hassle I will report them to the police for fraud. Avoid at all cost

Horrible Horrible experience. Any issue you raise, they close it without even emailing you about the issue you raised! Seriously?! What is the point of customer support then? What is the point of the feature to raise issues if you just completely ignore them and go ahead and close it? The riders are always rude. Have a bit more screening when you hire people. Dont just hire any tom, d*ck and harry with a bike. Only reason to use is cash on delivery feature. How have they stayed operational in Hong Kong till now is a mystery to me. App is designed specifically to be make it extremely hard to reach anyone about your orders. No numbers provided to call, no way to reach support(if it even exists). Burn this company to the ground.

I have very bad service from food panda over and over again! I am always having missing item in my delivery. I order a pizza set today come with a drink and salad! What I received in my delivery is only the drink and salad but no PIZZA ! I paid my money only to order a pizza but I don’t received my pizza ! What SS ridiculous and hilarious ! I tried to use their Help centre to make the feedback of my missing item, it is always system error showing cannot complete my request! What should I do?! No one I can reached to make complain! No one I can reached to make refund!

I even try to call to the restaurant which I made order. They told me they are very sure already handed my pizza to the delivery man ! I tried to call the delivery man, he told me it is non of his business!

I won’t use food panda again ! I have several experience on using food panda, what’s on my mind before was always worrying missing item again in my delivery!

When are they gonna improve their apps system Error and also their delivery service ?!?! Don’t waste my money again, I always can’t find someone to handle my issue ! They don’t have the hotline , but the system always error ! What should a customer do ?

I have a very good experience and memory here! They offer a good services! Nice job!

Horrible customer experience

The worst, and worst customer and app experience I ever had.

It was my first time trying to use Foodpanda to order food delivery since I couldn't get out of the apartment during 14 day quarantine period.

Two things that made me disappointing and never use this again:

1. Buggy feature and not user-friendly - I tried to set up my apartment address and it is not working AT ALL. Every time I tried to enter the full address manually, it keeps getting issues and the address is always incorrect.

2. Paypal feature not working - I tried to pay my meal using Paypal, and it appears that the login page for Paypal is NOT functioning at all.

3. Confirmation order even I haven't paid for the meal - There is a pop-up saying the order is confirmed and prepare by the restaurant even I haven't complete my payment transaction. This is really confusing and annoying since i don't know whether my order is being made or not.

It is very disappointing since I have been using other delivery apps like Doordash, Ubereats, Grabfood in other countries and they are all working absolutely fantastic.

Such a poor app and customer experience.

When it works, it works.
When it doesn't work - which is pretty often (around 1 out of 5-10 times for me) - you are completely helpless.
No hotline. No live chat. Only form of communication is email, and they will close out your queries before giving you the full response (why ask me to provide more info if you will close out the request before i respond?). Refund not processed *? Well that's too bad because there's no way to reach out other than email. I hope you are familiar with the consumer rights councils of your city or else you really have no channels to understand what is going on. And did you know that you cannot cancel your order even it it is delayed by 30 minutes, but the restaurant can cancel it anytime they want with zero penalties?

I had given up on them before but decided to give them another chance after a couple months. Silly me for thinking they will improve. If only the other operator had my favourite restaurant.

* Note: i had not personally had any refunds fail to process, but some cases take much longer than other ones. Will it ever not get refunded? Nobody knows because there's no way you can reach them anyways.

i always have good experience with foodpanda. The deliveries are always delivered quickly, and never had a problem with drivers. I guess it helps that i live outside the city

Terrible, terrible service. Supposed timing of delivery has been changing continuously - website says 30 mins but once order placed timing changed seemingly randomly - from 45 mins from time of order to 120 mins. No way of contacting them. Utterly useless.
Reminds me of the joke - what do you get your child when they ask for a cowboy outfit for Christmas - FoodPanda of course!

Just received an advice from FoodPanda that they’ve cancelled the order.
Unbelievable!!!!

I placed an order 1 hour later received a call saying that the delivery person was lost . 10mins after they call back will returning to the restaurant and have someone else send it.
After NO one showed up, NO food, Only email NO refund.
The terrible customer service.

I’ve completely given up ordering from Foodpanda. I have never once recieved an order on time, and we aren’t just talking 10-15 mins late, we are talking 1 hour. This happened at least three times before I stopped ordering around a year ago. I tried it out again a week or so ago, and exactly the same. We waited over 1 hour past the scheduled delivery time, and the customer service couldn’t help at all. In the end we cancelled the order and used Deliveroo. I never see to have any issues with Deliveroo, but always with Foodpanda. Really don’t understand why they screw it up every time. But I shall never be using them again that’s for sure!

as someone mentioned. the customer service is a complete joke that they closed my chats for multiple times when the restaurant delivered wrong items.

what a nice way to avoid communications.

Impossible to get in contact with anyone. And most cases their website is set up is faulty and incorrect that will prevent you from ordering from restaurants even you live next to the restaurant. The ONLY reason I am ordering from them is that it is possible to pay with Paypal. Besides that, it is a complete clown show

I ordered the food and it never got delivered 2 hrs. After an hour, I tried to send messages to the delivery guy via the app, the messages were read but there is no response; and there is no phone number to call the delivery guy. I called the restaurant and they said they had already given the food to foodpanda and I can only reach foodpanda for enquiry, but they only allow email. So i had to wait. 2 hrs after my order, a representative called stating that my address can not be delivered, when i asked for a refund, he told me to cancel the order and sent an email for refund.

The worst part is that after multiple emails, they rejected my request for refund. So i was hungry that day and pay for the food that I never ate.

Please Never order from Food panda any more. Worst service ever.
